FINN Model 28/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 101193 (7.62x54R), mfg. by SAKO in 1939 with RIIHIMÄKI above the chamber. This is the ultra-rare civilian sales rifle, of which only 1500 were made. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 99% or better high-gloss bluing and a mirror-perfect bore. Bolt knob numbered 1193 (matching), magazine floorplate and buttplate scrubbed (they never match on these, as they are from recycled Russian rifles), The birch stock has a furniture-type finish with very few minor dings and rubs. Of the HIGHEST RARITY, only a few RIIHIMÄKI 28/30 rifles are in the USA, and I doubt any of them are this nice! This rifle is only a few hundred numbers away from the example owned by the celebrated sniper (and my friend) Simo Häyhä. Literally unimprovable (not to mention irreplaceable). This very rifle illustrated on page 239 of "Finnish Mosin-Nagant, Three-Line Rifle to Ukko-Pekka" by Matt DiRisio (Wet Dog Publications, 2023). PHOTOS . . . $6250. C&R SOLD

Magazine altered in 1905 to utilize regular stripper-clip loading. No matching numbers (as usual). Barrel and receiver S-marked, bore is mirror-bright. Beech stock is quite nice. Rear sight restamped with Western numerals to allow for spitzer projectile. Completely functional, I would not hesitate to shoot this (however I DO NOT recommend firing any military ammo in it, only modern U.S.-manufactured commercial loads in it rather than milsurp ammo). Includes cleaning rod, not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $675.* Antique, no FFL required SOLD
