AUSTRALIAN No.2 Mk.IV* bolt-action single-shot training rifle # A17467 (.22 Long Rifle) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal in 1918 as a No.1 Mk.III* rifle, and converted to .22 LR in June 1947.   Excellent condition with full oil-blacked finish and quite bright and strong bore. All matching serial numbers. Wood  has a number of scrapes and gouges as well as very bold 1947-dated cartouches on the right side of butt. Very rare. PHOTOS . . . $695.    C&R    SOLD

BRITISH Model P-14 "Enfield" bolt-action rifle # 312485 (.303 British) mfg. in the U.S.A. by Remington in 1914.   Near Excellent condition with over 90% original blued finish and a mostly bright and strong bore.  Brass disk on right side stamped 1914 312489, volley-sights removed. BRITISH Model No.5 Mk.1 Enfield bolt-action "Jungle Carbine" # AA8083 (.303 British) mfg. at Fazakerly in May 1947. Very Good  PLUS condition, with 90% phosphate finish. Bolt numbered to receiver, magazine numbered but not matching. Has very strong and bright 5-groove bore and 0-marked bolt-head. Some minor handling marks on stock, rubber butt-pad somewhat hardened. CZECH Model vz24 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 3304M4 (8x57mm) mfg. by CZ in 1937.  Excellent original condition with a very sharp if not very bright bore. Very bold Czech national crest (two-tailed rampant lion) atop chamber. Bluing is 95% or so. Bolt-handle electropenciled to match, buttstock stamped matching on left side. Walnut stock looks new but has a small chip missing by bottom of buttplate. Includes cleaning rod and front sight protector. Very attractive. PHOTOS . . . $475.    C&R   SOLD

FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 244239 (7.62x54R) mfg. by SAKO in 1944. Good condition with no remaining bluing, matching bolt-knob, somewhat bright and very strong bore. Stock has a round plug, and looks like it has seen a lot of action.  Includes cleaning rod and decrepit leather sling.  Functional, but not pretty. PHOTO . . . $200.    C&R    SOLD

GERMAN Model DSM-34 bolt-action Mauser single-shot rifle # 211512 (.22 Long Rifle) mfg. by Gustloff Werke in 1935. Very Good condition with nearly full bluing on all metal parts. Bright (if somewhat dirty) bore. Stock has a few dings and bumps on it, but is still very attractive, with WAFFEN JUNG STUTTGART boldly stamped on left side. Includes leather sling, no cleaning rod. GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 3511h (8x57mm) mfg. by Gustloff Werke (code bcd 42) in 1942.  A Russian reworked rifle in Excellent-PLUS condition, with 100% rebluing and intact Nazi eagles on barrel and receiver. Has all-milled parts electro-penciled 3511 to match receiver, barrel has ch (FN Belgium) manufacturers markings. The bore is excellent and mirror-bright. Laminated buttstock is a bit rough with early German Arms (eagle over H) cartouche on right side. Includes reproduction cleaning-rod (not shown in photo), front sight-hood and repro leather sling in excellent condition. PHOTO . . . $450.   C&R     SOLD

GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 8496d (8x57mm) mfg. by Mauser Borgiswalde  (factory code ar 43) in 1943.  A "bringback" 98k with all matching serial numbers!  Bore is very sharp and mostly bright. Has bold Nazi eagle swastikas and other Nazi markings. Very Good condition overall, laminated stock has nicely repaired duffle-bag cut on forend under rear band and a few handling-marks with cupped buttplate (a bit rusted from standing upright6 in a closet for decades). Has cleaning rod and sight hood and includes original German leather sling as well as receiver locking-screws. Very attractive, not import marked. PHOTOS . . . $1725.   C&R    SOLD

ISRAELI Model 98k Mauser bolt-action single-shot training rifle # 0510454 (.22 Long Rifle) mfg. by Nazis during WWII and converted to a .22 trainer by the Israelis utilizing a Remington commercial barrel. Very Good condition, with 60% or so original bluing. Nazi markings have been effaced, star of David and Hebrew stamps on left side.  All-matching serial numbers (including stock). The bore is excellent and mirror-bright. Beech buttstock is a bit rough with 0.22 (caliber) deeply stamped on bottom. Includes Israeli leather sling in well-used condition. ITALIAN Model 1891 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action infantry rifle # TI1140 (6.5x52) mfg. by Terni in 1896 with Tubata-lined barrel. Very Good PLUS condition with 90% or so bluing remaining, bore is somewhat bright and strong. Stock has sharp stamped numbers on left side. RUSSIAN Model 91/38 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # 91620 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1905. Excellent-PLUS condition with 98% or better bluing with all matching STAMPED numbers except for bolt (which is electro-penciled 91620 to match barrel). Bore is mirror-bright (and has NOT been counterbored at muzzle). Stock has very few minor handling marks from storage.  Includes cleaning rod. PHOTOS . . . $425.    C&R   SOLD

SERBIAN Model 1924 Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # 253295 (8x57) mfg. by Kragujevac in 1935. Near Excellent condition, with mostly full bluing on all parts (wear only on sharp corners and edges). All matching serial numbers. Royal Serbian crest above chamber very bold and detailed. Bore is strong and very bright, stock is in excellent condition and  has cartouche of Prince Paul (regent for King Peter II after 1934) on right side, includes cleaning-rod and worn sling. PHOTOS . . . $475.   C&R     SOLD

SOVIET Model 91/30 reproduction PU SNIPER Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # LD2116 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Tula in 1938 on a low-wall receiver. Excellent-PLUS arsenal-refurbished condition with 99% or better bluing on all metal parts. All matching numbers (2116 without prefix letters) on all numbered parts (scope mount unnumbered). Bore is mirror-bright (has NOT been counterbored at muzzle). Stock has only a few very minor handling marks. Includes cleaning rod, correct sling and leather lens-caps. PHOTOS . . . $650.    C&R

SWISS Model 96/11 Schmidt-Rubin infantry rifle # 216389 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1897. All-matching numbers including magazine. Very Good condition, with most fading bluing intact on all metal parts. Bore is mirror-bright and extremely strong. Walnut stock and handguard has original finish with a few dings and handling marks, NEUCHATEL (a Swiss Canton in French-speaking Western Switzerland) stamped on top flat of butt near buttplate. SWISS Model K-31 Schmidt-Rubin cavalry carbine # 638992 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1941. All-matching numbers, Near Excellent condition with 85% bluing remaining and a near-perfect mirror-bore. TURKISH Model 38 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 2092 (8x57) rearsenaled by Ankara arsenal in 1937. Excellent condition, with full bluing remaining on all external metal. Bolt not matching (but is correct straight bolt). Bore is extremely bright and strong, completely functional. Includes cleaning-rod. U.S.A. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 220725 (.30-06) mfg. by Rock Island Arsenal in 1913 (low-number) with SA 1-42 barrel.  Excellent or better condition with most Parkerizing intact. This rifle was rebuilt (probably at Springfield Armory) in 1942. The barrel has a TE of 2.0 and a MW of 3.0. Bore is shiny and mirror-like. Stock is in very nice condition with minimal bruising and no cartouches. Metal is all original to the rebuild, includes web sling  Very attractive, not import-marked. U.S.A. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 3286619 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in July 1942. Excellent condition with 95% gray Parkerizing on all metal. A gorgeous example with near-perfect 7-42 dated R 4-groove bore (0.75 MW, 1.0 TE). Walnut stock has a couple dings and scratches but is otherwise flawless. Not import-marked. U.S.A. Model 03-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 3689788 (.30-06) mfg. by Smith-Corona in August 1943. Excellent-PLUS condition with 99% or better gray Parkerizing on all metal. A gorgeous example with near-perfect RA 8-43 dated bore (TE=1.0, MW = 0.0). Absolutely GORGEOUS vivid tiger-striped walnut stock has C-type grip and a furniture-type finish. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 98k bolt-action rifle # J744 (8x57) mfg. by uncertain Nazi arsenal in 1940-45.  Excellent-PLUS condition, with full bluing on metal surfaces and bold national crest (torch in wreath) above chamber. All matching serial numbers (except for action bolts and rear sight, which retain their original Nazi serials),  Bore is mirror bright and very strong (looks as-new). YUGOSLAVIAN Model 24/47 Mauser bolt-action rifle # G9340 (8x57) mfg. by Zastava in c.1950. Excellent condition, a large-ring intermediate-length Mauser with 95% or better original bluing on the metal surfaces with little apparent wear and a sharp mirror-bore. Strong Tito-era Yugoslavian crest above chamber. All-matching numbers, with milled triggerguard and magazine-floorplate and straight bolt handle.
