ARGENTINE Model 1909 Mauser bolt-action rifle # E2561 (7.65x54) mfg. by D.W.M. in 1910. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 98% or better bluing (receiver "in the white" which is proper for these). All parts serial numbered to receiver (including stock, cleaning-rod and even brass & steel muzzle-cap). Bore is excellent and mirror-bright with very strong rifling. BELGIAN Model 1916 Mauser bolt-action carbine # J3984 (7.65x53mm) mfg. by Fabrique National during WWI. Very Good condition with 75% original bluing and a sharp mirror-bright bore. BRAZILIAN Model 1908 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 2822dd (7x57mm) mfg. by DWM Berlin in c.1912. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 98% bluing (receiver in the white, as is proper), bore is strong and mirror bright. All matching serial numbers. Brazilian-crest above chamber very strong, stock has a few minor dings and compressions with original finish and razor-sharp Star of David cartouche. CHILEAN Model 1895 Mauser bolt-action rifle # H2191 (7x57) mfg. by Loewe in 1895. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 98% original deep bluing on all metal parts. Chilean crest above chamber is a bit weak but clear. All-matching numbers (including bolt, stock and cleaning-rod). Bore is exceptional and mirror-bright. GERMAN Model Gewehr 88 bolt-action Commission rifle # 9830S (8x57i) mfg. by Steyr in 1890. Very Good PLUS condition, with 80% thinning and browning bluing (receiver mostly in the white, as is proper), some light pitting at wood-line. GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 3162b (8x57) mfg. by ERMA (code 27) in 1939. Very Good-PLUS condition, an ALL ORIGINAL MATCHING rifle with much of the bluing turning brown from age. Bore is excellent and mirror bright. Laminated stock has eagle / WaA135 cartouche on right side. Small parts are stamped without serial numbers (correct for such a late rifle), byf on triggerguard and magazine floorplate. MEXICAN Model 1936 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 62762P (7x57) mfg. by Fabrica Nacionale de Armas in 1944. Excellent-PLUS condition with 100% high-gloss bluing, matching bolt (no other parts are numbered on these rifles) with bold Mexican crest above chamber. Unissued, with nice mirror-bright bore, fire-blue on springs is perfect. Includes cleaning-rod front sight hood, brass unit plate tacked on bottom of stock is unmarked. Solid walnut stock has original furniture-grade finish, a couple insignificant dings on right side. Not import-marked, the bolt is reminiscent of a Springfield 1903 with a round cocking piece. The 1936 rifle is rare, but when encountered is usually mismatched in Fair to Good condition, I've never encountered one in this quality. UNIMPROVABLE condition and worthy of the finest collection. PERSIAN Model 98/29 rifle with matching bayonet # C05540 (8x57) mfg. by Brno in 1931. Excellent condition, with all-matching numbers including bayonet. Full bluing with bold Persian lion-cartouche above chamber. Internally perfect with a mirror-perfect bore, wood is walnut with a beautiful antique French-style furniture-type finish, some dings from adjacent rifles. PORTUGUESE Model 1941 Mauser bolt-action rifle # H6512 (8x57) with matching bayonet mfg. by Mauser Oberndorf in 1941. Excellent-PLUS condition with 100% high-gloss bluing, all-matching numbers and bold royal Portuguese crest above chamber, all Nazi eagles and proofs intact. Looks UNISSUED, with nice mirror-bright bore. Includes cleaning-rod and worn leather German-style sling. Solid walnut stock has very vivid tiger-stripe figure, with eagle / WaA 135 cartouche on right side and large Portuguese crest above 1941 on left side, a couple minor scuffs on left forend. Bayonet also numbered H5412 and is in mint condition, some wear on scabbard but no dents. SERBIAN Model 1924 Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # 251349 (8x57) mfg. by Kragujevac in 1936. Very Good or better condition, with mostly full bluing on major parts, barrel-bands and triggerguard / magazine-floorplate has almost no remaining bluing. Royal Serbian crest above chamber very bold and detailed. All-matching numbers except bolt (255720), bore is very strong and mostly bright. SIAMESE Model 1903 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 4235 (8x52R Siamese), mfg. by Koishikawa Arsenal in 1903 with straight-bolt. Excellent condition, with 95% or better original bluing on all parts. Includes sliding action-cover but no cleaning rod. Bore is very bright with strong rifling. Walnut stock and handguard has quite a few handling-marks but retains its original finish. SPANISH Model 1893 Mauser bolt-action cavalry carbine # A1604 (7x57), mfg. by Loewe in 1894. Near Excellent condition, with most bluing on all parts (come turning brown from age). All bolt parts stamped # 4141, bore is mostly bright with some darkness the last couple inches but has strong lands and grooves. SPANISH Model 1921 Destroyer bolt-action carbine # 36953 (9x23 Largo) mfg. by Ayra Duria in 1963 (Eibar date-code İ1). Excellent condition with 95% bluing (very little, if any wear apparent) and a sharp mirror-bright bore. TURKISH Model 1890 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 23052 (8x57), mfg. by Mauser Oberndorf in 1891/2 (dated A.H. 1309 on left side-rail). Very Good condition, with 70% bluing on upper metal parts (mostly worn off on triggerguard and magazine floorplate from carry), Ottoman markings atop receiver removed when rechambered to 8mm by Ankara arsenal in 1938. Has very strong markings. Matching bolt (numbered 052) and has a strong bright bore. Walnut stock & handguard has some scuffs and other handling marks but is sound with a 1" x 2" arsenal patch at bottom of forend. U.S.A. Model 1873 Trapdoor falling-block single-shot infantry rifle # 479445 (.45-70 Government) mfg. by Springfield Armory in 1882. Near Excellent condition, most external bluing remaining, sideplate mottled. Has a strong bore with bright lands and dark grooves with Buffington rear sight. Original military configuration with strong markings including bold SWP 1882 and circled script P cartouche on wood stock. U.S.A. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 352288 (.30-06) mfg. by Rock Island Arsenal in October 1918 with high-number receiver and original RIA 10-18 barrel. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 51036 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in July, 1940 with SA 9-43 barrel. Very Good condition with most Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, bore is quite worn out (TE = 5, ME = ?). A 5-digit pre-Pearl Harbor Garand with some pitting on legs of receiver and on front sight. Has somewhat beat up (but sound) walnut stock with birch handguards. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 1476360 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in March, 1943 with commercial barrel. Excellent condition with full Manganese Oxide finish remaining on all metal and having an as-new bore (TE = 1.0, ME = 1.0). This was a "Blue Sky" rifle that Arlington Ornance rebarreled and refinished in the early 1990's. The stock looks aftermarket with a pretty finish. Basically a shooter rather than a collectable. Excellent condition with full Parkerized finish remaining on all metal and having an excellent bore (TE = 3.5, ME = 2.0). A service-grade CMP Garand with updated postwar parts and a walnut buttstock without visible cartouche on left side. Front handguard has arsenal-repaired crack, rear handguard has heavy ding on top. U.S.A. Model M1 Type 2 National Match Garand semiautomatic rifle # 5331211 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in January, 1955 with SA 1-55 barrel. Excellent-PLUS condition with full Parkerized finish remaining on all metal and having an excellent bore (TE = 4, ME = 2.0). This was manufactured as a Type 1 National Match, and upgraded to a Type 2 National Match around 1962 with fiberglass-bedded cartouched stock and hooded rear sight, a few dings at bottom of stock.
