Very Good or better condition, with over 80% original blued finish and a not so bright but strong bore. Brass disk on right side reads 3.R.H.B. 43, pointers from both volley-sights removed. Excellent condition, an all-original rifle with over 95% original metal finish, matching bolt, and a gorgeous mirror 2-groove bore. U.S. PROPERTY on left receiver-rail. Back of bolt-handle not numbered, has 1-marked bolt-head, rear sight is of the L-shaped flip variety. CZECH Model vz24 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 6869X4 (8x57mm) mfg. by CZ in 1938. Very Good original condition with a very sharp if kind of rough and not very bright bore. Very bold Czech national crest (two-tailed rampant lion) atop chamber. Bluing is 80% or so, browning on small parts. Mismatched serial numbers on bolt and buttstock. Walnut stock has a few minor handling-marks and compressions, handguard chipped on left side at rear. Includes cleaning rod, front sight protector and reproduction 98k-type brown leather sling. GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 3216b (8x57mm) mfg. by Mauser Borsigwalde (factory code S/243) in 1938. A "bringback" 98k with all matching serial numbers except for bolt (which has mixed parts) and action-bolts. All other parts numbered 3216 with no monkey-business. Bore is very sharp and quite bright. Has three bold Nazi eagle swastika proofs (on right side of receiver) and Weimar eagles. Good to Very Good condition overall, with some original military bluing remaining. No cleaning rod, sling is Yugo, a decent "unmessed with" example. PHOTOS . . . $850. C&R SOLD
GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 8053 (8x57mm) mfg. by Berlin-Suhler-Waffen (factory code BSW 38) in 1938. A "bringback" 98k with all matching serial numbers except for stock and barrel-bands. Bore is very sharp and mirror bright. Has three bold Nazi eagle swastika proofs (on right side of receiver) and Weimar eagles. Very Good condition overall, with much original military bluing remaining. This rifle has a Norwegian stock and barrel-bands numbered 2156 that is correct for a BSW-produced 98k (with WaA4 proofs). the buttplate also has (besides the 2156 serial crossed-out) the Norwegian serial -32914- The cleaning rod and sling are WWII Nazi originals. A Russian-capture mauser with no matching serial numbers, all bolt parts numbered 8520d and match themselves. Bore is very sharp and mirror bright. Has clear Nazi eagle swastikas and other Nazi markings. Excellent condition overall, with mostly full bluing. GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 8845j (8x57mm) mfg. by Steyr-Daimler-Puch (factory code 660) in 1940. A "bringback" 98k with all matching serial numbers except for stock and barrel-bands. Bore is very sharp and mirror bright. Has bold Nazi eagle swastikas and other Nazi markings. Excellent condition overall, with full original commercial-quality bluing. This rifle had been duffle-cut, with the cut forend and barrel-bands misplaced or lost (a common occurrence). The previous owner purchased a Russian-capture 98k (from us) and swapped stocks with this rifle and added the barrel bands from the RC in an attempt to restore it. Bore is very sharp and mirror bright. Has tiny Nazi eagle swastikas and other Nazi markings. Excellent-PUS condition overall, with full original bluing, magazine floorplate is stamped 5250 in error for some unknown reason (too much schnapps?). GERMAN Model 98/40 Huzagol bolt-action Mannlicher rifle # 2128b (8x57mm) mfg. by Femaru Fegever (FÉG, nazi code jhv) in 1941. An unusual WWII Nazi milsurp rifle with Mauser-style magazine and Mannlicher-style rotating bolt (the bottom of the bolt-knob flattened and checkered). Very Good condition with full original bluing and all matching serial numbers except for bolt. Bore is somewhat dark but very strong. All Nazi eagle / swastika markings strong. Forend of stock has been cut-down and lacks any barrel-bands and other fittings, several small holes drilled in bottom of stock for commercial stock-swivels. Includes original front sight hood. INDIAN Enfield No.2A bolt-action rifle # A18310 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by Ishapore Arsenal in 1965. Good to Very Good condition, metal finish browning. Bolt, nose-cap and bolt numbered to receiver, bore is bright and sharp. Stock has original finish with some contact marks and rear handguard has dovetailed repair, "Ishie screw" present, another repair at heel of stock by buttplate. SERBIAN Model 1924 Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # 142549 (8x57) mfg. by Kragujevac in 1932. Excellent (possibly refinished) condition, with full bluing on major parts except for front barrel-band and vz24 sight protector. Triggerguard / magazine-floorplate are numbered to match receiver, bolt is not matching. Royal Serbian crest above chamber very bold and detailed. Includes cleaning-rod and worn leather sling. SWEDISH Model 38 Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # 637807 (6.5x55), mfg. by Husqvarna in 1942 with bent-bolt and non-threaded muzzle. Excellent condition, with 90% original bluing on all parts (some wear on magazine floorplate). Has a mirror-bright very strong bore (bore-disk indicating 6.53/1). Rear sight has 100 meter zero. All-matching stamped numbers (crooked crowns on magazine floorplate and barrel-bands). Beech stock & handguard has its original finish, with very few handling-marks and scuffs. A private-series rifle in Very Good condition, with most fading bluing intact on all metal parts. Bolt matching receiver, magazine not numbered. Bore is mirror-bright and extremely strong. C. DAUDENMEIER, / DIETIKON (a retailer that is still in business just outside of Zurich) stamped on barrel and receiver.
