BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.2 Lee-Enfield bolt-action rifle # PF136577 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in mid-1949 (undated). Excellent-PLUS condition, with over 99% original Suncorite painted finish, all matching numbered parts except for non-numbered magazine and forend. Has a gorgeous mirror 4-groove bore with 1-marked bolt-head, rear sight is of the milled ladder type. CHILEAN Model 1895 Mauser bolt-action rifle # G8621 (rechambered to 7.62 NATO) mfg. by Loewe in 1896. Good or so condition, with basically zero original bluing remaining on all metal parts. Bold Chilean crest above chamber, all serialized parts mismatched. Bore is quite strong and bright, 7.62 N stamped on back of receiver. Walnut stock is dirty with some dings and handling-marks in the wood from contact with adjacent rifles but has not been sanded and is not cracked anywhere. CHINESE Model 56 SKS semiautomatic rifle # 11269167 (7.62x39) mfg. by Norinco in 1957. Very Good condition, all-matching serial numbers, very strong chrome-lined bore and spike bayonet. Stock and handguard has seen a lot of use and has been refinished with some sort of Tru-oil type of finish and is not that all attractive butt can be easily reverted to original configuration. FINN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 226195 (7.62x54R) mfg. by New England Westinghouse in 1915 with [SA] Finn property-marks on barrel-shank. Excellent condition with 95% or better bluing, bore is quite bright and strong (and NOT counterbored at muzzle). Bolt body stamped 226195 (matching), other numbered parts have been scubbed by the Finns (as usual). Includes cleaning-rod, two-piece Finn stock looks quite nice with few handling marks. FINN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 661454 (7.62x54R) mfg. by New England Westinghouse in 1915 with [SA] Finn property-mark on left side of barrel-shank. Only Good or so condition with very little bluing remaining, bore is rough and dark from being fired with corrosive ammo and not cleaned properly afterwards (has NOT been counterbored at muzzle). Bolt stamped 661454 (matching), very large cursive M stamped above chamber. Includes cleaning-rod and bolt-type sling swiverls, one piece Westinghouse stock has battered "English Contract" (in Russian) cartouche on left side with many handling marks but is sound. FINN Model 1891 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 47340 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by Fabrique National in 1942 on a hex receiver. Excellent condition, with 99% or better bluing and a mirror bright and strong bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Bolt-knob stamped 7340 (matching), buttplate and magazine floorplate not matching (as usual). Russian one-piece stock is a bit beat up and has a 6-digit number stamped on left side. FINN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action DRAGOON rifle # 98225 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1919 with and one small [SA] Finn property-mark on left side of barrel; shank. Excellent condition, with 95% or better bluing on all metal and a hexagonal receiver. Totally a real original Dragoon, with ladder rear sight and blade front sight (rather than the hooded post of the later 91/30). Bolt-body stamped 98225 (matching), magazine floorplate and buttplate have been scrubbed (as usual). Bore is somewhat bright with strong rifling, muzzle has been counterbored. Finn 2-piece buttstock has the expected handling marks, Civil Guard number S 118934 stamped on right side (Oulu Civil Guard district, a city in far Northern Finland). FINN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action DRAGOON rifle # 56751 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Tula in 1926 with 5-line legend and two small [SA] Finn property-marks, one on either side of barrel-shank. Excellent condition, with 90% or better bluing on all metal and a hexagonal receiver. A real original Dragoon, with ladder rear sight, blade front sight and solid rear barrel-band. Bolt-body stamped 56751 (matching), magazine floorplate and buttplate have been scrubbed (as usual). Bore is very bright with strong rifling, muzzle has been counterbored. Buttstock has the expected handling marks, handguard is the proper Dragoon type and is in excellent condition. Includes Finn leather sling with square buckle and leather thongs as swivels. FINN Model 91/30 (ex-Dragoon) Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 11915 (7.62x54R) mfg. as a Dragoon by Izhevesk in 1923 with [SA] Finn property-mark on left side of barrel-shank, 41 on right side. Near Excellent condition, with 85% bluing and a strong, slightly dark bore that has been counterbored at muzzle. Bolt-body stamped 11915 (matching) and has Finn stacked blade front sight. POLISH Model wz48 Mosin-Nagant single-shot bolt-action training rifle # ZM2117 (.22 LR) mfg. by Radom in 1956 (final year of production). RUSSIAN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action short rifle # 1104179 (7.62x54R) mfg. by New England Westinghouse in 1915. A reconfigured 1891 infantry rifle (no Dragoons were made by this company), base of rear sight is welded on to barrel. Good to Very Good condition with little remaining bluing, bore is quite bright and strong (and NOT counterbored at muzzle). No matching serialized parts, 91/30 stock has some scuffs and scratches but is sound with no cracks. Includes cleaning rod. A very rare and unusual variant that I have not encountered before. SOVIET Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # PY2884 (7.62x54R) barrel by Izhevsk in 1946 (!) on a 1943-dated Izhevsk high-wall round receiver. Excellent arsenal refinished condition, with 98% or better bluing on all metal parts. All matching electro-penciled serial numbers (including letter prefixes), Bore is mirror-bright (has NOT been counterbored at muzzle). Birch buttstock has a few very minor scrapes and handling marks in the shellac. Includes cleaning rod. Although M44 carbines were produced at Izhevsk until 1948, the 91/30 production ceased in 1944, so this 1946-dated example has to be extremely rare. PHOTOS . . . $850.* C&R SOLD
SOVIET Model 91/30 PU SNIPER Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # MH1630 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Izhevsk in 1944. Excellent condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). All serialized parts stamped MH1630 (matching). 1943-dated PU scope has great optics, ƃ35431 stamped on left side of barrel-shank, 35431 stamped on left side of lower scope mount. Stock and handguard has the inevitable scuffs in the shellac finish from use and storage, but is otherwise in nice shape. This is a RGUNS import from a decade or so ago, and is not considered a put-together restoration, but the real deal. Includes leather lens caps and correct web sling with leather keepers. SOVIET Model 91/30 PU SNIPER Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # PA340 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Tula in 1943 with Cyrillic letters CH (for sniper) stamped atop of barrel. A Molot refurbished original sniper in Excellent-PLUS condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle), has added lever-type safety on right side of receiver. Bolt (the only serialized part) stamped 340 (matching). Has been (unfortunately) fitted into a synthetic olive-green ARCHANGEL stock and includes one 5-round and two 10-round detachable magazines. Undated PU scope has clear optics, rifles serial number (LA340) and scope number (0594) electro-penciled on left side of lower scope mount, scope number 0594 also stamped on left side of barrel shank. SWEDISH Model 96/38 bolt-action Mauser short rifle # 61497 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1900 with straight bolt and non-threaded muzzle. Very Good PLUS condition, about 80% fading external bluing, wear only on magazine-floorplate and triggerguard from carry. Has mirror-bright and strong bore (disk stamped 6.50/0), all visible parts serial numbered 497 (non0numbered cleaning rod). Rear sight has VÄSTERÅS wheel-type insert. Walnut stock and handguard has many handling-marks (mostly compressions and scuffs) over the past 122 years and has a glossy finish. Includes worn but correct brown leather sling. PHOTO . . . $575. SWISS Model K-31 Schmidt-Rubin cavalry carbine # 982696 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1952. Excellent-PLUS condition with all-matching serial numbers, By far the FINEST condition K31 I have ever encountered with 99% bluing and a near-perfect mirror-bore. Almost flawless beech stock and handguard (not sanded or refinished) with crisp cartouches. Includes soldier's tag (with his phone numbers) and is dated IV 52 under buttplate. Includes 1954-dated leather sling (in great condition) as well as brass & steel muzzle-cap. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 950132 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in November, 1942. A "CMP Special Rack" grade CMP rifle in Excellent condition with full light gray Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, Criterion commercial barrel (dated 01/21) has a mirror-bright as-new bore (TE = 0.0, MW = 0.0) with all SA-marked parts. Boyd's walnut stock has CMP cartouche on left side and is in as-new condition. Not import-marked, with CMP certificate of authenticity, correct web sling and manual. U.S.A. Model 541X bolt-action U.S. military training rifle # A1060512 (.22 Long Rifle) mfg. by Remington in October 1984. New condition, UNFIRED, UNISSUED with perfect bluing, pristine wood stock (with beautiful grain figure) and a mint bore. Includes one 10-round magazine. Heavy US PROPERTY marked barrel, has Williams aperture front and rear target sights with many front-sight inserts, some dried preeservative adfhering to stock..
