ARGENTINE Model 1905 Mannlicher semiautomatic pistol rig with holster # 5624 (7.63 Mannlicher), mfg. at Steyr in c.1905.  Excellent condition, has full bluing and nice grooved wooden grips.  Bore has some minor pitting but very strong lands and grooves.  All markings clear, Argentine crest ground off right side of receiver (never seen one that wasn't) but due to excellent arsenal refinishing it isn't at all obvious and the crest is still partially visible. Small parts (trigger, hammer, safety, etc.) in the white and very bright.  This is a top-loader that utilizes stripper-clips rather than a magazine.  Without a doubt one of the most beautiful handguns ever designed. Not import-marked, rare this nice, with full-flap brown leather military holster.   PHOTO . . . $995.   C&R      SOLD

    DUTCH EAST INDIES Model 91 KNIL revolver # 8466 (9.4mm), assembled by Vickers (the British firm of machine gun fame) in 1921. Very Good or better condition with 80% or better external bluing, all matching numbers, bore is extremely strong and bright. Has British proofs atop frame and barrel, and crowned W (for Queen Wilhelmina who ruled 1890-1948) on right side of frame.
