BELGIAN Model 1910 semiautomatic pistol # 314371 (.380 ACP) mfg. by Fabrique Nationale, Herstal. Near Excellent condition with 95% bluing (wear only at corners and edges). All-matching numbers, bore has much pitting in the grooves but the lands are mostly strong. Black FN-logo bakelite grips are intact. BRITISH Mark V revolver #144716 (converted to .45 ACP) mfg. by Webley & Son in 1915 with 4" barrel and bird-head grip. Near Excellent condition, with 90% original strong bluing turning to plum and a few of the expected rough-handling marks. All-matching numbers. BRITISH Mark VI revolver #315438 (converted to .45 ACP) mfg. by Webley & Son in 1917 with 6" barrel and squared grip. Good condition, with almost not remaining bluing. All-matching numbers, bore is bright but lands severely worn and barely discernable. Handmade smooth walnut grips, missing lanyard-ring. Cylinder has very tight lock-up, but rest needs a bit of work, as the latch-spring is missing and it will not cock or fire single action (double-action works perfectly). BRITISH Enfield No.2 Mk.1 revolver #CPJA869 (.38 S&W) mfg. by Enfield in 1937. Very Good condition, with 80% original "oil-blacked" finish, very "tight" action and an excellent, mirror-bright bore. Ex police-issue, original serial numbers scrubbed and matching serials on right side of barrel & frame (cylinder #4667, likely original. Black bakelite grips (with both "ears"). FRENCH Model 1935A semiautomatic pistol (7.65 French Longue) # L3024A mfg. in the late 1940's by Société Alsacienne de Constructions Mecaniques. GERMAN Dreyse Model 1907 semiautomatic pistol # 40435 (.32 ACP) mfg. by Rheinische Metallwaaren & Maschinenfabrik around 1911. A really interesting and unique design (by Louis Schmeisser) in Very Good Plus condition with 90% bluing. All-matching numbers, bore has some crud and pitting in the grooves but the lands are quite strong. Black RMF-logo bakelite grips are intact (which is rare). GERMAN Langenhan 7.65 semiautomatic pistol # 68689 (.32 ACP) mfg. by Friedrich Langenham Waffen-und Fahrradfabriken, Zella Mehlis in 1915. This was a secondary German military pistol of which 86,000 were produced during WWI. Very Good condition, with 80% original bluing starting to turn brown. Appears to have been a British war-trophy, with commercial Birmingham proofs on right side of slide and frame, WWI German markings appear to have been pinged on left side of frame. GERMAN Model 7.65 Stock semiautomatic pistol #9926 (.32 ACP), mfg. at Franz Stock Maschinen-und Werkbaufabrik, Berlin in c.1918. Near Excellent condition with about 95% original bluing with nice surfaces and all-matching numbers. Bore is heavily pitted but lands are quite strong. Ex Spanish Air Force, with logos on the right side of the slide and frame and additional #01856. Bore is mirror-like and very strong with little evidence of use. U.S.A. "Victory Model" Lend-Lease revolver #V323571 (.38 Smith & Wesson) with 5" barrel, manufactured by Smith & Wesson in 1945. Excellent PLUS condition with 98% or better original Parkerized finish and a near-perfect mirror-bore, "U.S. PROPERTY G.H.D." marked, case-colors still vivid on hammer and trigger, Australian Proofs on right side of frame, as well as FTR \ MA54 (indicating "Factory Thorough Repair" in 1954). BRITISH Enfield No.4 (T) SNIPER bolt-action rifle # AR9498 (.303 British) mfg. by BSA Shirley arsenal in 1943. All-correct crated No.4 (T) sniper with No.32 Mk.III scope with excellent optics. Overall Excellent condition, with nearly full oil-black external finish and near-flawless streaked walnut buttstock stock (with added wooden cheek-piece) and beech forend numbered to rifle. Scope is # 18378 dated 1945 and has excellent markings and with chipping olive-drab painted finish, scope-number stamped on the top of buttstock. Rifle serial # stamped on scope-mounts is force-matching. Bore is exceptionally mirror-bright and strong (showing little if any actual use), 0-stamped bolt-head. Includes rectangular metal scope-can and Model 1907 leather sling in very good condition, with original wooden shipping crate (a little scuffed up and chipped externally with crack in the lid) not numbered to rifle. CANADIAN Enfield No.4 Mk.I* bolt-action rifle # 78L7318 (.303 British) mfg. by Long Branch arsenal in 1944. Excellent condition, with nearly full Parkerized external finish, matching bolt with a #1 marked bolt-head. Bore is mirror-bright and strong (showing little if any actual use). CHINESE Model 56 SKS semiautomatic rifle #11421600 (7.62x39) mfg. by Factory 26 arsenal in 1968 with hard-chromed spike-type folding bayonet. A "war-trophy" from the Vietnam conflict, with all-matching serial numbers, functional and complete including cleaning-rod. Very Good condition with most bluing intact, some external jungle-related verdigris, perfect chrome-lined bore, wood has one ding and a few handling-marks from carry and circumstances of capture. In case any of you are skeptical of it's origin, the capture-papers (DD 603, DD 603-1 and export license from RVN marked "cleared for CONUS", etc., all dated January 9th,1973 in Danang) describing this very rifle by serial number and naming the person who captured it are included. FRENCH Model 1949 MAS semiautomatic rifle #F18631 (7.5x54) manufactured at St. Etienne in 1958. Arsenal NEW, 100% dark parkerized finish, all matching numbers and (I assume) an excellent bright bore. Rifle is still encased in stiff poly bags, with arsenal-tags from 1987 (thus no photo possible). Wood is new and appears unmarred. FRENCH Model 1949/56 MAS semiautomatic rifle #G16637 (7.5x54) manufactured at St. Etienne in 1982. Excellent, 95+% dark parkerized finish, all matching numbers and an excellent bright bore. INDIAN No.1 Mk.3* bolt-action rifle # 89534L (.303 British) mfg. by Ishapore Arms Factory in 1951. Very Good condition with 60% enamel finish and an excellent, mirror-bright bore. JAPANESE Type 30 Arisaka bolt-action rifle #236927 (6.5x50) mfg. at Koishikawa in c.1915. Excellent condition with full original bluing, mismatched parts, mum overstamped with large Japanese "School" character. This type has ladder v-type rear-sight and hook-type safety. Bore is quite decent and bright, original unsanded finish on wood with few of the expected handling-marks (gouge on right side of handguard). Bolt handle has been bent-down. Not import-marked. LUXEMBOURG Model FN-49 Saive semiautomatic rifle # 1158 (.30-06) mfg. by Fabrique National in c.1955. Excellent condition, with close to 100% black-enamel finish, all-matching numbers (wood not numbered). Bore is gorgeous and mirror-bright, AL stamped above chamber. Stock apparently sanded with no finish (or dings), includes cleaning-kit in butt-trap. Only 6,000 FN-49 rifles were made for Luxembourg, and .30-06 is the most desirable chambering in this model rifle. Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $875. C&R SOLD
PERUVIAN Model 1935 Mauser bolt-action short-rifle #24229 (.30-06) mfg. by Fabrique Nationale in 1935. An arsenal-refurbished rifle in Excellent PLUS condition, with 98% bluing. Bore is excellent and mirror-like, no crest atop chamber, all-matching numbers, bolt is bent (the knob of which is flattened and checkered on the bottom), has backwards-functioning safety, complete with cleaning-rod. Nice-looking Walnut buttstock with subtle tigerstripe figuring with very few handling-marks. Originally chambered in 7.65 Argentine, most of these rifles were officially rechambered for .30-06 after WWII to take advantage of the free ammo "Uncle Sugar" was handing out like candy. SWISS Model 1871 Vetterli bolt-action infantry rifle #136512 (10.4mm Swiss rimfire) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern c.1877. Excellent PLUS condition, all-matching numbers (and every part is numbered). Nearly 100% original case-hardened finish, Bore is absolutely gorgeous, mirror-bright all the way to muzzle with strong rifling (actually looks unfired). Wood is very highly figured maple with its original finish (cartouches clear) having only a few minor handling-marks, likely original leather sling in VG condition. No import marks.
