EGYPTIAN "Hakim" semiautomatic rifle # 40397 (8x57) mfg. by Maadi in 1965. Very Good or better condition, mostly full original blued finish with very strong mostly bright bore. FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # AY945 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1942 with Finnish [SA] capture marking on left side of barrel-shank. Excellent condition with full bluing on all metal parts (some minor scattered encrustations). Has an excellent bright bore with stacked blade front sight, 945 stamped on bolt body (matching). FRENCH Model 1949-56 MAS semiautomatic rifle # G62809 (7.5x54) manufactured at St. Etienne in c.1963 and refurbished in 1972. Excellent condition, with most Parkerizing intact and little signs of wear. Has great mirror-bright bore. Includes one ten-round magazine, buttpad and sling. INDIAN Enfield No.4 Mk.1 bolt-action rifle # O8347 (.303 British) refurbished at Ishapore Arsenal in 1963. Excellent condition, with full bluing on metal. Most likely of Pakistani manufacture with very square-ish appearance, magazine numbered O8347 (matching), bolt handle numbered 6522, no other parts numbered at all. Rear sight is of the L-shaped flip type. Bore is mostly bright and sharp, with some dirty area that will likely "shoot clean". Stock has original finish with some dents and dings, arsenal repair at heel, "Ishie screw" present. Very scarce. PHOTOS . . . $750. C&R
INDIAN Enfield No.2A1 bolt-action rifle # M5719 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by Ishapore Arsenal in 1966. Near Excellent condition, with nearly full bluing on metal. All matching serial numbers on receiver, nose cap, rear sight, magazine, forend and bolt handle. Bore is very bright and sharp. ITALIAN Model 1891 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action cavalry carbine with folding bayonet # T8570 (6.5x52) mfg. by Gardone in 1917. Near Excellent condition, with full bluing on all metal, bore is bright and very strong. Matching walnut stock has bold circular FAET 46 cartouche on left side. ITALIAN Model 1891 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action cavalry carbine with folding bayonet # ORA1149 (6.5x52) mfg. by Gardone in 1936 (year 14 of Mussolini). Very Good condition, with nearly full bluing on all metal, bore is somewhat rough but very strong. Left side of barrel has crossed rifles accuracy marking. Matching walnut stock has fiddleback figure and faint circular F.N.A. cartouche on left side. Bent-bolt is unnumbered, stock and handguard has been roughly sanded and is unfinished. ITALIAN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano Truppi-Speciale carbine # RA28462 (6.5x52) mfg. by FNA-Brescia in 1943-4 (undated). Excellent condition, with 95% or better original bluing remaining. POLISH Model 44 Mosin Nagant bolt-action carbine # KM05749 (7.62x54R) mfg. at Radom in 1954. Excellent-PLUS original condition with 100% or better bluing on all metal parts and a perfect mirror-bright strong bore. Bolt numbered KM05749 (matching), magazine floorplate numbered AS04102, buttplate never numbered. Appears UNISSUED with zero handling marks. Includes cleaning rod, not import marked. PORTUGUESE Model 937B bolt-action rifle # F11665 (8mm) mfg. by Mauser in 1941, literally a 98k with bold Nazi eagle/swastika markings and bold (and fancy) Portuguese crest above chamber. Near Excellent condition overall, with 90+% bluing on barreled receiver, rear barrel-band, triggerguard and magazine floorplate browned from contact with sweaty hands. Bore is mirror-bright, eagle / swastikas on left side of receiver and barrel-shank very bold. Bolt (and all bolt parts), rear sight, and both barrel-bands are numbered 1665 to match receiver. Bolt release numbered 65 (matching receiver). Buttstock, buttplate, action bolts, triggerguard and magazine floorplate all have various serial numbers. Includes cleaning-rod and front sight-hood. Stock has Eagle-H and two WaffenAmps on right side, one eagle holding swastika and WaffenAmp on bottom of grip, with several compressions from bolt knobs of adjacent rifles while in storage. Includes leather 98k sling with buckle. Many rifles in this 98k contract never made it to Portugal, but were pressed into service with the Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe during WWII and are sometimes found as "bringbacks" or Russian (and even Norwegian) captures. SOVIET Model SVT-40 semiautomatic rifle # GX3452 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Tula in 1941. Excellent condition, with around 99% bluing throughout. An arsenal-rework with all-matching (electro-penciled) serial numbers except for magazine. Has 12-slot muzzle-break and scope grooves in receiver. AVT stock is numbered to match. SWISS Model Gewehr 11 Schmidt-Rubin straight-pull cavalry carbine # 469628 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1918 and privatized in 1963. All-matching serial numbers including magazine. Excellent condition with all bluing remaining (likely reblued, as it is just too perfect). Walnut stock and handguard has been refinished and modified with extremely attractive engraved floral designs and crudely carved initials M.R. on right side with very few handling-marks since. Includes braided leather sling and brass and steel muzzle-cap. UKRANIAN Model 91/30 SNIPER Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # YH6153 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Tula in 1933 with uncertain military scope mount securely attached to left side of receiver, legend Виробпено в Україні (produced in Ukraine) and illustration of a target on left side of magazine extension. Excellent-PLUS refurbished condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore (which has threaded muzzle with attached flash-hider. All serialized parts except buttplate numbered 6153 (matching, without letter prefixes), has bent bolt handle. No scope mount or scope present. U.S.A. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 3101344 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in 1943 with unmarked barrel. Excellent-PLUS condition with all external Parkerized surfaces remaining, bore is extremely strong and mirror-bright (TE =0.0, ME = 0.0). Has pistol grip stock with some very light scratches and dings on left side, original finish and has never been sanded with boxed D.A.L. cartouche. Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $1250. C&R SOLD
U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 2617863 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in February 1944. Excellent condition with full light gray Parkerized finish remaining on all metal. Has unmarked with barrel relieved SA-marked operating rod, all small parts also stamped SA. Barrel has bright and very strong bore (TE = 3.5). This is a postwar refurb with mostly Korean War-era SA-marked components. Walnut stock and handguard has handling marks and number 335 stamped at bottom of grip (no visible cartouches). Includes correct web sling. A removable high-quality and effective steel muzzle-break has been added, the original gas cylinder lock has been misplaced (an easy to get part, only $15 or so). U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 4713428 (.30-06) mfg. by Harrington & Richardson in February 1954 with SA 2-54 barrel marked NM. Excellent or better condition with full Parkerized finish on metal and having a bright bore (TE = 5.5, MW = 1.0). Has relieved IHS-marked op rod, WRA hammer, remainder components marked SA.
