AUSTRALIAN No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # C96609 (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal in 1942. Excellent condition with all oil-blacked finish remaining. All matching serial numbers on all numbered parts, bore is mirror-bright and very strong. Buttstock has 1942-dated cartouches on right sideshows some heavy handling marks from actual use, with very clear 1944-dated military cartouches on right side of butt. BRITISH Martini-Henry Mark IV long-lever single-shot rifle # 3311 (.577/450) mfg. by Enfield in 1887.  Very Good condition with much original bluing remaining and a few scattered areas of light porosity, legend on right side faint but readable. All original (not a Khyber-pass or copy from Nepal) and 100% functional with a very bright bore that has very strong rifling. Rear sight is a leaf adjustable from 100-1200 yards. Original stock sound with no cracks, very clear and neat 1906-dated Nepali cartouche on right side, triggerguard stamped with some Nepali characters. BRITISH Martini-Henry Mark IV long-lever single-shot rifle # 7224 (.577/450) mfg. by Enfield in 1886.  Excellent condition with nearly all external finish remaining. All original and 100% functional with a mirror-bright bore that has very strong rifling. Rear sight is a leaf adjustable from 100-1200 yards. Original stock sound with no cracks but a few minor losses where barrel meets receiver, Faint cartouches on both sides of butt. Missing cleaning rod but has original leather sling. BRITISH Enfield No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # H8580 (.303 British) mfg. by Enfield in 1915. Very Good or better condition, with most remaining oil-blacked finish and a rather dark but shootable 4-groove bore.  Bolt, rear sight and nosecap match receiver. BRITISH Enfield No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # H87136 (.303 British) mfg. by Birmingham Small Arms in 1918. Excellent condition, with most remaining oil-blacked finish and a bright and quite strong 4-groove bore.  Bolt, rear sight and nosecap match receiver, magazine force matched 57136. BRITISH Model P-14 Mk.I*  "Enfield" bolt-action rifle # 411805 (.303 British) mfg. in the U.S.A. by Eddystone in mid 1916.   Near Excellent, nearly full arsenal oil-blacking on metal.  Has a really gorgeous mirror bore.  Wooden-plug on right side filling-in unit-disk hole, pointer from front volley-sight and rear volley-peep removed during Weedon refurbishing. Bolt numbered atop bolt handle to match. Wood is near excellent overall with some scuffs from handling and storage.  A handsome example, not import-marked. PHOTO . . . $875.   C&R     SOLD

BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.1* Enfield bolt-action rifle # 73C0451 (.303 British) mfg. by Savage-Stevens in 1944 (undated).  Excellent condition, with 95% of the Parkerized metal remaining. 2-groove bore is mirror-bright and very strong, Bolt and magazine matching. Bolt-head is stamped with 3, all parts marked with square-S (for Savage).  US PROPERTY marked on receiver, rear sight is the L-shaped flip type. BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.1 Lee-Enfield bolt-action rifle # BT17299  (.303 British) mfg. by Maltby in 1944 and underwen Factory Thorough Repair at Fazakerly in 1948.  Excellent condition, around 95% original painted finish (some chipping), bolt, magazine & forend stamped BT17299 (matching). Has a gorgeous mirror 4-groove bore with 1-marked bolt-head, rear sight is of the milled ladder type.  Beech stock and handguards (the rear one grooved) have some minor dings and scratches from actual use.   PHOTOS . . . $875.   C&R   

BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.2 Lee-Enfield bolt-action rifle # PF322763 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in March 1954.  Excellent condition, an all-original rifle with around 95% original painted finish, bolt, magazine & forend stamped PF322763 (matching). BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.2 Lee-Enfield bolt-action rifle # PF340155 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in January 1955.   Excellent-PLUS condition, with over 98% original painted finish, bolt, forend and bolt handle stamped PF340155 (matching), magazine does not.  Has a gorgeous mirror 4-groove bore with 1-marked bolt-head, rear sight is of the milled ladder type.  Beech stock and handguards have a very few light dings, else as new.  Includes No.9 blade bayonet and scabbard in as-new condition (not pictured). CANADIAN Enfield CNo.4 Mk.I* bolt-action rifle # 92L3734 (.303 British) mfg. by Long Branch arsenal in 1950. Excellent condition, metal has full finish on all parts and an excellent 4-groove bore that is mirror-bright. Stock has very few dings and handling-marks but is quite attractive with original finish. FINN Model 28/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 34766  (7.62x54R), undated barrel mfg. by SAKO on a post-1898 receiver with SK.Y civil-guard marking.  Excellent-PLUS condition, basically in UNISSUED condition, with 99% or better bluing and an excellent mirror-bright bore.  Bolt knob numbered 4766 (matching), struck-through number S82505 on right side of barrel-shank ((Pohjois Karjala aka North Karalia, a Civil Guard district on the Russian border).  Stock has only a few minor compressions and nicks.  Very rare (R10) undated 28/30. FINN Model 28/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 69988 (7.62x54R), mfg. by SAKO in 1940 on a post-1898 receiver with SK.Y civil-guard marking.  Excellent-PLUS condition, literally AS NEW with 99% or better bluing and an excellent mirror-bright bore.  Bolt body numbered 69988 (matching),  Stock has zero handling marks (and rare thus).  PHOTOS . . . $1425.      C&R     SOLD

FINN Model 39 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 28800 (7.62x54R) mfg. by VKT in 1941. Very Good or so condition, with faded bluing and a mirror-bright bore. Bolt-knob stamped 8800 (matching), buttplate and magazine floorplate scrubbed. Finn three-piece wartime stock has some handling marks but is sound. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 1959/66 SKS semiautomatic rifle # 001827 (7.62x39) mfg. by Zastava in c.1968. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 100% bluing. This rifle has been made CALIFORNIA LEGAL with the grenade launcher sight and forend removed and replaced with a flash-hider. Folding bayonet is still present but cleaning rod is not.
