AUSTRALIAN No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # E95917 (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal in 1944. Very Good or better condition with much oil-blacked finish remaining. All matching serial numbers on all numbered parts, bore is quite bright and very strong. Buttstock shows some heavy handling marks from actual use, with very clear 1944-dated military cartouches on right side of butt and correct web sling. AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher long-rifle # 9655 (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr in 1916.  Excellent refurbished to new condition, with 98% or so bluing and sharp and mirror-bright bore. Matching numbered bolt-knob, right side of stock also stamped 9655. Walnut stock and handguard has many dings and dents from contact with adjacent rifles but is sound with no cracks. INDIAN Enfield No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # 62440A (.303 British) mfg. by Ishapore Arsenal in 1917 and refurbished at Ishapore in 1928 with intact magazine cutoff. Very Good or better condition, with full oil-blacked metal surfaces. All numbered parts matching. Bore is very strong and bright. INDIAN Model SMLE .410 musket # R3959, Originally a No.1 Mk.III* rifle mfg. by uncertain manufacturer (markings were removed during refurb) and converted to single-shot 2 1/2" chamber .410 shotgun by Rifle Factory Ishapore in 1949. Excellent-PLUS condition, with all remaining bluing intact, all numbered parts matching and very few handling marks in stock (which has remarkable figure in grain. Bore is absolutely prefect and simply dazzling. Includes 40 rounds of POF.410 brass-cased ball ammo made for this rifle (4 tattered paper-wrapped bundles of 10 rounds each). INDIAN Enfield No.2A bolt-action rifle # A30559 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by Ishapore Arsenal in 1965. Excellent-PLUS condition, with fully Parkerized surfaces. No matching serial numbers, bore is mirror bright and sharp. Stock has somewhat rough finish with some contact marks, rear handguard has the usual small dovetailed repairs.  NOT chambered for .308 Winchester ammo (no matter what anyone else tells you, don't shoot .308 in this rifle). ITALIAN Model 1870/87/16 Vetterli-Vitali bolt-action infantry rifle # ZX7702 (6.5x52 Carcano) mfg. by Torre Annunziata in 1881. Excellent condition, with full strong bluing on external metal. Bore is mostly bright and the rifle appears to be functional. Buttstock has very few of the usual handling marks from actual use and has small (1" or so) noncritical diagonal hairline crack on left side. SWEDISH Model 94/14 Mauser bolt-action carbine # 9251 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1901 with bent bolt and bayonet lug, plus 1/2" barrel extension at muzzle (required for importation before 1968) . Excellent condition, with 95% or better bluing on all major parts. Has strong markings and a mirror-bright and strong bore.  All-matching serial numbers (261). Walnut stock & handguard has been heavily sanded and has no handling-marks, handguard has remarkable vivid tiger-stripe figure. SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle # 484989 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1920 with straight bolt and threaded muzzle.  Excellent condition, with 95% bluing on all major parts. Has strong markings and a bright and strong bore (bore disk indicating 6.50/3).  All-matching serial numbers on visible parts except barrel-bands, cleaning rod and magazine floorplate. Beech stock & handguard has dings and other handling-marks from service use but is sound. SWEDISH Model 96/38 bolt-action Mauser short rifle # 14267 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1899 with straight bolt and non-threaded muzzle (threads protected by metal muzzle-cap).  Very Good PLUS condition, about 80% external bluing on upper receiver, wear only on magazine-floorplate and triggerguard from carry. Has mirror-bright and strong bore (disk stamped 6.53/2), all visible parts serial numbered 267 except for rear band (927) and buttplate (777), rear sight has VÄSTERÅS wheel-type insert and a tall replacement front sight blade. SWEDISH Model 38 bolt-action Mauser shortened rifle # 413063 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1917 with bent bolt and non-threaded muzzle, barrel and stock has been shortened by 4 inches (why, I have no clue).  Excellent condition, with 90% external bluing on all metal (some carry wear on magazine floorplate). Has mirror-bright and strong bore (disk stamped 6.50/3), all visible parts serial numbered 063 except for barrel bands and cleaning rod, rear sight is of the long rifle type with 300 meter zero. SWEDISH Model AG42B Ljungmann semiautomatic rifle # 8971 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1943. Near Excellent condition with 90% or better original bluing on most metal, action cover has chipping black enamel (as issued). Includes cleaning-rod, bore is excellent and mirror-bright with a 6.51/2 stamped bore-disk. Wood is beech with the usual handling-marks. Includes ten-round detachable magazine. SWISS Model 1871 Vetterli bolt-action infantry rifle # 126641 (10.4mm Swiss rimfire) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1876. Very Good or so condition, all-matching serial numbers (and every part is numbered). External metal finish has very shallow pitting from exposure to moisture (but is far from ugly), bore is mostly strong with some darkness in the grooves and a few rough patches (but still very shootable). Stock is walnut with its original finish (cartouches clear) having a few minor handling-marks and dings and really nice figure in the grain. Lacks cleaning-rod. U.S.A. Model 1866 Trapdoor single-shot infantry rifle (no serial number) chambered in .50 Government Centerfire, a 2nd Model Allin Conversion of the 1863 Percussion musket by Springfield Armory in 1867. Good or better condition, most metal browning with some light freckling on barrel bands, breech block and barrel. Has a gorgeous, mirror-bright bore. Original military configuration with 1863 dated sideplate, locking mechanism bears 1866 date. Very Good or better condition, most metal turning brown with some light freckling on barrel bands, breech block and barrel. Has a gorgeous, mirror-bright bore and 5th type Model 1879 buckhorn rear sight. Original military configuration with strong markings (including strong SWP 1883 cartouche on wood). U.S.A. Model 1898 Krag-Jorgensen bolt-action infantry rifle # 121507 (.30-40 Krag) mfg. by Springfield Armory in August, 1898.   Excellent condition with 90% bluing on all metal. Has very strong and mirror-bright 4-groove bore. Walnut stock has extremely faint boxed JSA 1898 cartouche on left side, and very few handling marks. Not import-marked, a somewhat high grade example. U.S.A. Model 03-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 3893546 (.30-06), receiver mfg. by Remington in April, 1943 with RA 4-43 barrel.  Excellent condition with 95% or better Parkerizing throughout. Bore is mirror-bright and very strong (gauges TE = 2.0, MW = 1.0).  Rear sight base has been removed and a Lyman rear sight installed, and the forend of the stock has been lopped to reduce weight (essentially turning this into a hunting rifle). What remains of the walnut stock is quite nice, and this could be restored to original military configuration quite easily.  Not import-marked.  PHOTOS . . . $500.    C&R    SOLD

U.S.A. Model 03-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 3941349 (.30-06), receiver mfg. by Remington in September, 1943 with RA 9-43 barrel.  Excellent-PLUS condition with 99% or better Parkerizing throughout. Bore is mirror-bright and very strong (gauges TE = 4.0, MW = 2.0).  Top of receiver has been drilled and tapped with one hole (now filled with a screw). Includes leather sling. U.S.A. Model 03-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 4174425 (.30-06), receiver mfg. by Remington in December, 1943 with RA 12-43 barrel.  Excellent-PLUS condition with 99% or better Parkerizing throughout. Bore is mirror-bright and very strong (gauges TE = 2.0, MW = 0.75).  Includes leather sling. U.S.A. Model 1903-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 5014156 (.30-06), commercial receiver mfg. by National Ordnance in circa 1968-70 with RA 12-43 barrel and other Remington 03-A3 parts.  Excellent-PLUS condition with 99% or better Parkerizing throughout. Bore is mirror-bright and as new (gauges TE = 1.0, MW = 0.0).  Walnut stock has bold FJA and RA cartouches as well as boxed S.A.A. cartouches. Very few minor handling marks and scratches on wood.  According to H.P. U.S.A. Model of 1917 bolt-action rifle # 367719 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in November 1918.   Excellent-PLUS condition with 98% or better Parkerizing on all metal. Has near-perfect original 11-18 dated R four-groove barrel (gauges TE=1.0, MW + 0.0), underside of bolt stamped W (Winchester).  Walnut stock and handguard has almost no handling marks, boxed S and S.A.A. cartouches on right side. U.S.A. Model 513-T "Matchmaster" bolt-action target rifle (no serial number) .22 Long Rifle, mfg. by Remington  in 1943. Excellent condition, with 95% original Parkerized finish. U.S. PROPERTY marked with MILITARY FINISH stamped atop barrel,  with MM year code on barrel but no serial number. Has correct Redfield target rear sight and REMINGTON marked 5-round magazine. U.S.A. Model 521-T "The Junior Special" bolt-action target rifle (no serial number) .22 Long Rifle, mfg. by Remington  in 1947. Excellent condition, with 95% original blued finish. No U.S. Property marks, with SS year code on barrel but no serial number. Has correct Lyman target rear sight and plain 5-round magazine.
