ARGENTINE Model 1891 Mauser bolt-action cavalry carbine # A1884 (7.65x53) mfg. by Ludwig Loewe in 1892. Excellent condition, with 95% strong bluing (some pitting at the wood line). Strong national crest, all matching serial numbers. Bore is strong and extremely bright. Original walnut stock has old repair at heel.  Not import marked.  PHOTOS . . . $650.    Antique, no FFL required    

FINN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 808795 (7.62x54R) mfg. by New England Westinghouse in 1915 with [SA] Finn marking on left side of barrel-shank.   Very Good condition with 95% or better remaining bluing on upper metal, zero bluing remaining on triggerguard.  Bore has seen quite a bit of use over the past Century+, with somewhat dark grooves but very strong lands (muzzle has been counterbored for increased accuracy). A really nice example, bolt body numbered 808795 (matching). Russian one-piece stock has faint round DEUTCHES REICHS cartouche on right side. FRENCH Model 1949-56 MAS semiautomatic rifle # G7007 (7.5x54) manufactured at St. Etienne in 1966. Excellent condition, with full Parkerizing. Has great mirror-bright bore. Includes one ten-round magazine and rubber buttplate, no other accessories. Wood stock has a few very minor handling marks on both sides. PHOTOS . . . $1175.      C&R   (no California sales)  SOLD 

GERMAN Model Gewehr 98 bolt-action infantry rifle # 3092a (8x57mm) mfg. by D. W. M. in 1907.  Very Good PLUS condition, metal has most bluing (receiver is "in the white" but stained).  All parts (including stock) matching, bolt root has been force-matched 3092a.  Has a very strong and somewhat bright bore (counterbored at muzzle), with original functional "roller coaster" rear sight. Includes cleaning rod. Beech buttstock has many bruises and a few gouges, but no cracks, clear German Imperial cartouches on right side and at bottom. GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 5336e (8x57) mfg. by Steyr (factory code bnz 43) in 1943.  Excellent condition, an all matching and original example with 90% remaining bluing and a very bright bore. Laminated stock has clear Nazi proofs on right side and bottom with cupped buttplate. Includes cleaning rod, front sight hood and leather sling with buckle. GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 8951f (8x57) mfg. by Bystrica (factory code dou 44) in 1944.  Excellent condition, a Russian rework with full remaining bluing and a very bright bore. Nazi swastikas proof have been mostly obliterated with a small punch. All parks electro-penciled to match. Walnut stock has clear Nazi proofs on right side with flat buttplate. HUNGARIAN Model 44 Mosin Nagant bolt-action carbine # BK9105 (7.62x54R) mfg. by FÉG (factory code 02) in 1953. Excellent-PLUS condition, with full bluing and all matching serial numbers (including letter prefixes). Bore is mirror-bright. Stock has some minor scuffs, else as new. Includes cleaning rod. ISRAELI Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 3850m (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by Brno (factory code dot 43) in 1943.  Near Excellent condition, with most remaining bluing and a mirror-bright bore. Nazi eagle / swastikas proof has been obliterated next to a small Star of David. Mixed serial numbers, the bolt is in the white with circle-Z proofs and no serial number. Beech stock has some signs of actual use, with deep 7.62 stamped on bottom near buttplate.  No cleaning rod (stock has not been drilled for one), but retains its front sight hood.  PHOTO . . . $950.    C&R     

JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action rifle # 1568032  6.5x50) mfg. at Tokyo in c.1910. Excellent condition with full original bluing, bolt (and all bolt parts) and front band matched to assembly number 644. Mum has been heavily ground, features open ladder rear sights, front sight without guards, and includes cleaning rod.   Two-piece stock has original nice finish with a few scratches and digs.  Bore is bright and very strong.  Very attractive appearance, not import marked. JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 22, # 84452 (6.5x50) mfg. at Kokura in 1938-1939. Excellent condition with full original bluing (browned and faded at bottom of action), has intact mum. Bolt numbered 452 (matching), remainder of numbered parts match assembly number. This type has ladder V-type rear sight and front sight with "ears", includes its original cleaning rod. Strong and mostly bright bore, wood has the expected dings and scratches but is not ugly. LUXEMBOURG Model FN-49 Saive semiautomatic rifle # 6199 (.30-06) mfg. by Fabrique National  in c.1950.  Excellent-PLUS condition with 99% original black-enamel finish, all-matching numbers, bore is mirror-bright and virtually perfect, AL stamped above chamber.  Walnut stock and handguard has very few handling-marks (mostly nicks and compression type dents) from its experiences over the last 70+ yaers. Only 6,000 FN-49 rifles were made for Luxembourg, and .30-06 is the most desirable chambering in this model rifle.  Virtually UNIMPROVABLE!  PHOTOS . . . $2275.   C&R     SOLD

POLISH Model 44 Mosin Nagant bolt-action carbine # KB11134 (7.62x54R) mfg. at Radom in 1953. Excellent-PLUS original condition with 100% or better bluing on all metal parts and a perfect mirror-bright strong bore.  All numbered parts stamped KB11134 (matching).  Appears UNISSUED with near zero handling marks. SOVIET Model 91/30 PU SNIPER Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # MH1014 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1944 with struck-through scope number on left side of barrel shank.  A Molot refurbished original sniper in Excellent-PLUS condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore.  All serialized small parts stamped 1014 (without prefixes).  Bore is mirror-bright (has NOT been counterbored at muzzle). PU scope has clear optics, scope serial number (72477) stamped on left side of barrel-shank and electro-penciled on left side of lower scope mount, but rifle number on scope mount is different (???).   Buttstock has a few scuffs and handling marks from transportation and storage, includes leather lens covers.  PHOTOS . . . $2350.    C&R   

SOVIET Model 91/30 PU SNIPER Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # EH9194 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1944(?) with  scope number stamped on left side of barrel shank.  Near Excellent condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore.  No matching serial numbers on anything, barrel markings have been partially sanitized. PU scope has clear optics. Buttstock has a few scuffs and handling marks from actual use, includes leather lens caps and fabric scope cover.  Not import-marked, very possibly a bringback from Vietnam (one of my papered bringback PU snipers is also completely mismatched). PHOTOS . . . $2600.    C&R     

SOVIET Model SVT-40 Tokarev semiautomatic rifle # AƂ5446 (7.62x54R), mfg. at Tula in 1942. Excellent refurbished condition with a strong bright bore. Electropenciled serial numbers on all numbered parts, bolt has plum color, receiver is NOT grooved for scope-mount.  Features 12-slotted muzzle-break. Stock and handguard has some of the usual scrapes in the Russian shellac and has a few scratches and handling marks.  Includes cleaning-rod and uncertain leather sling with 10-round magazine.  PHOTOS . . . $2650.     C&R     SOLD

SPANISH Model 1891 Mauser bolt-action saddle-ring carbine # 6267 (7.65x54mm) likely made by Ludwig Loewe in 1894-5 (markings above chamber sanitized)  Very Good or better condition, with 80% or better original blued finish. Bolt numbered 6267 (matching), no other parts numbered. Bore is very bright and strong, walnut stock has very few dings and no cracks, and is much better than expected for a 130 year-old military rifle that possibly saw service in the Spanish American War.  Not import marked, very scarce and popular.   PHOTOS . . . $950.       Antique, no FFL required     

SPANISH Model 1921 Destroyer bolt-action carbine # 40731 (9x23 Largo) mfg. by Ayra Duria in 1964 (Eibar date-code J1). Excellent condition with 90% or better bluing throughout. Has a sharp mostly bright bore, stock is of pistol-grip type with very few handling marks. Includes one 7-round magazine (more available). PHOTOS . . . $650.    C&R     

SWEDISH Model 94/14 bolt-action Mauser carbine # 16356 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1903.    Excellent condition, about 90% or better external bluing with near-perfect mirror-bore.  No matching serial numbers (headspace checked and is OK), beech buttstock and handguard has only a few handling marks with brass unit-disk stamped I FK / № 28.   Has muzzle extension (required for importation into the USA before 1986). SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 66590 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1900 with straight-bolt and threaded muzzle (threads protected with commercial metal cap).  Excellent condition, with 95% or better bluing on all parts.  Has strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.49/0).   All matching serial numbers (non-numbered cleaning rod). Lovely figured Walnut stock & handguard has possibly been lightly sanded long ago (with only a few contact marks since). SWEDISH Model 38 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 636050 (6.5x55), mfg. by Husqvarna in 1942 with bent-bolt and unthreaded muzzle.  Near Excellent condition, with 90% thinning bluing on all metal parts and little apparent wear. Has very strong markings and a mirror perfect extremely strong bore (disk marked 6.51/1).  Bolt numbered 050 (matching), other parts have the Husqvarna "crooked cross" instead of a number (unnumbered cleaning rod), Rear sight is ladder version calibrated from 100 to 600 meters.  Beech stock & handguard has a few rather minor scuffs and is sound with original finish. SWISS Model K31 Schmidt-Rubin short rifle # 596603 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1939. All-matching serial numbers (non numbered magazine).  Excellent condition with 95% or better external bluing and a perfect, mirror bore. Wood is walnut with less than usual handling marks in the finish, several pieces of tape from Swiss shooting festivals (including a 1980 Shaffhausen). Wood is beech walnut with usual dings, scrapes and handling marks in the finish. VI 55 stamped beneath buttplate with soldier's tag. U.S.A. Model 03-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 3684263 (.30-06), receiver mfg. by Smith-Corona in May 1943 with SC 4    -43 barrel.  Excellent condition with 90% Parkerizing on all metal. Bore is mirror-bright and very strong (gauges TE = 2.0, MW = 0.5) with 6-groove rifling. Walnut stock has nice finish with only a few handling marks. U.S.A. Model 03-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 4204186 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in December 1943. Excellent condition with 90% or better gray Parkerizing on all metal. A lovely example with near-perfect RA 12-43 dated bore (TE = 0.75, MW = 0.75). Walnut stock has some handling marks, but is sound with RA, ordnance wheel and EJA cartouches on left side.  Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $1350.    C&R     

YUGOSLAVIAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # Š2220 (8mm) mfg. by the Nazis during WWII and rebranded at Zastava in c.1947/8.  Near Excellent condition, a large-ring standard-length Mauser with 90% or better bluing on all metal components and a sharp mirror-bore. Top of receiver has been scrubbed, left side has PREDUZECE 44 and Mod 98.  Bolt handle stamped Š2220 (matching), magazine floorplate and left side of buttstock stamped 2220 (matching). Stock is laminated with a couple scuffs and cupped buttplate. Includes cleaning-rod and front sight-hood, leather sling attached with twine.  Not import marked.  PHOTOS . . . $725.     C&R
