Finn Model 28-76 Mosin Nagant military match rifles
in 7.62x54R caliber

These are Finn military Mosin Nagant match rifles as used until just recently by the Finnish Defense Forces.  They were constructed from Finn Model 28/30 military 7.62x54R rifles with hexagonal receivers, turned-down bolts, match triggers and Lyman-style aperture sights. The buttstocks are made of Finnish birch with built-in cheekrests and are specially bedded to each action. All we have are in EXCELLENT condition with matching-numbered bolts and at least 90% bluing on all metal.  The wood shows some minor signs of actual use and may have colored tape or stickers stuck to them, but no cracks, carvings, or signs of serious abuse.  There are aluminum rails on the left side and the bottom of forend for mounting of accessories such as palm-rests and slings. Bores are all excellent and mirror-bright and the barrel shanks have one of three types of markings (SK.Y dated 1934 to 1940; no maker with 1968 or 1969 dates; or ASEV1 with either 1977 date or ASEV1 undated with 28-76 markings).
