BRITISH Enfield No.2 Mk.1** revolver #ZA905 (.38 S&W) mfg. by Enfield  in 1943. Near excellent condition, with 90% original chipped "stoving", very "tight" action and a strong, shiny bore. All-matching numbers, a nice non-modified example with black bakelite grips (the left "ear" filed down, as was common). Not import-marked.  PHOTOS . . . $225. C&R    SOLD

CZECH Model CZ-24 semiautomatic pistol #45758 (.380 ACP) mfg. by Ceska Zbrojovka, Prague in 1927. Very Good condition with 80% original high-polish blue (some heavy blood-pitting on front of slide and frame and back of slide) with bold markings. All-matching numbers except for slide (#39544 mfg. in 1926) and magazine, original smooth walnut one-piece grip with some dings but no cracks or chips. Unit-marked VLUS over 2 on front-strap. Bore is very strong and bright, includes correct CZ24 magazine. Not import-marked. The army-issue CZ24 was manufactured until 1939, and can be distinguished from the more common CZ27 by the diagonal rather than vertical grooves in the slide.   PHOTOS . . . $225.  C&R   

CZECH Model CZ-27 semiautomatic pistol #130725 (.32 ACP) mfg. by Bohemian War Factory, Prague in mid 1941. Very Good condition with 80% original mottled high-polish blue finish.  All-matching numbers, Nazi-marked with eagle and WaA76 on right frame and eagle holding Swastika on top-rail. Original dark-brown bakelite grips with tiny chip from bottom-right corner (as usual).  Bore has some scattered pitting but is otherwise very bright and strong. GERMAN Model P-38 semiautomatic pistol (9mm) #157b mfg. Walther (ac-code) in 1940.  A WWII "bringback" in Very Good condition a slightly grainy but otherwise strong and shiny bore. All-matching numbers (except un-numbered magazine) some light porosity on slide from being "holstered wet", but otherwise at least 80% original blue. GERMAN Model 1910/22 Browning semiautomatic pistol #388a (.32 ACP), mfg. at Fabrique National under Nazi occupation in early 1941.   Excellent condition with about 95% original bluing, bore is excellent and very shiny. HUNGARIAN Model 37M Frommer semiautomatic pistol #134406 (.380 ACP),  mfg. by Femaru Fegever circa 1938. Excellent condition, right side of slide shows slight holster-wear.  Bore slightly pitted but quite bright and strong and certainly serviceable, otherwise 90% original bluing with some minor wear at corners and edges.  This was the official sidearm of the Hungarian Army throughout the later 1930's and was a favorite weapon of the German Luftwaffe after Nazi occupation. JAPANESE Type 14 Nambu semiautomatic pistol, #17355 (8x21 Nambu) mfg. at Koishikawa arsenal in November, 1930  (Showa 5.11) with small trigger-guard. All-matching numbers except (proper) magazine, EXCELLENT condition with very strong shiny bore and 98% bluing on metal.  Original finish on both metal and wood, a very nice example of an early Type 14. All-matching numbers except magazine (#071, of correct type), EXCELLENT condition with superb mirror-bore and 98% external finish with virtually no handling-marks.  Includes correct clamshell-type leather holster in Excellent condition (some external deterioration of leather). JAPANESE Type 14 Nambu semiautomatic pistol, Series 2, #24008 (8x21 Nambu) mfg. at Toriimatsu factory of Nagoya Arsenal in March, 1944  (Showa 19.3) with large trigger-guard and grooved grips, coarsely-knurled round cocking-knob, external metal roughly-milled and finished. All-matching numbers including magazine, EXCELLENT condition with superb mirror-bore and 98% external finish with a few handling-marks and evidence of having been "holstered wet" on left side. Tip of firing-pin broken-off (no big deal to repair or replace), right grip-screw a brass replacement. RUSSIAN Model TT-33 Tokarev semiautomatic pistol #DD1465 (7.62x25 Tokarev), mfg. at Tula in 1940.  A non-import pistol in Very Good overall condition. All-matching numbers with mottled gray finish to the metal that is likely cold-bluing, no added-safety. Bore is quite pitted but lands strong enough to shoot accurately, some minor pitting crevices and under grips.  Correct black-plastic CCCP grips, includes brown-leather holster with two magazines (one with lanyard-loop) and cleaning-rod. RUSSIAN Model TT-33 Tokarev semiautomatic pistol #TA1932 (7.62x25 Tokarev), mfg. at Izhevsk in 1947.  Excellent condition with no added-safety. All-matching numbers with 98% bluing. Bore is quite almost mirror-bright with a little etching in the grooves, Munich proofed on right side of frame and import-marked under grips. U.S.A.  .455 Mark II Hand Ejector 2nd Model revolver #19350 (rechambered to .45 Auto-Rim, left side of barrel marked 45 A R) with 5 1/2" barrel, manufactured by Smith & Wesson in c.1916.  Near Very Good condition with signs of much usage but still retains 50% or better original high-polish bluing (remainder of metal turning to plum).  Bore quite shiny and strong with scattered pitting from shooting corrosive ammo.  R. A. F. stamped on butt, Birmingham nitro-proofs stamped on left side of barrel and on every chamber, other military "flag" proofs scattered around. NOT ENGLISH MAKE stamped on left side of frame. U.S.A. Model .38-200 revolver #991373 (.38 Smith & Wesson) with 5" barrel, manufactured by Smith & Wesson in c.1941. "Victory Model" Lend-Lease revolver #V571005 (.38 Smith & Wesson) with 5" barrel, manufactured by Smith & Wesson in c.1944.   Near Excellent condition with 90% or better original phosphate finish and a near-perfect bore, U. S. PROPERTY G.H.D. stamped on top-strap, case-colors still remain on hammer and trigger. ARGENTINE Model 1891 bolt-action infantry rifle #T2129 (7.65x54) mfg. by DWM in late 1897. Near Excellent condition with 95% original bluing and all-matching numbers (even on cleaning-rod), intact Argentine crest above chamber.  Bore is a bit rough but strong and bright.  Should still be an excellent shooter (they usually are).  Beautiful Walnut stock has really nice grain with original finish (which means there are handling-marks a-plenty) and a small oval brass plate inscribed R. ARGENTINE Model 1909 bolt-action infantry carbine #010854 (7.65x54) mfg. by F.A.M.A.P. in the late 1930's. Near Excellent condition, with receiver "in the white" as is proper,  All-matching numbers,  90+% bluing on the parts that should be blued, bore is excellent, virtually mirror-bright and very strong.  Stock (which goes nearly to the muzzle) has not been sanded and retains original finish with moderate handling-marks. AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher cavalry-carbine #6014Z (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr in 1910. Excellent-plus, arsenal-refinished to new condition with full 100% bluing and sharp bright bore. Has stamped-ladder (Mk.II) rear-sight, a 2-marked bolt-head and grooved rear handguard, U.S. PROPERTY marks ground-off siderail. CHILEAN Model 1935 "carbiniero" carbine #1675 (7x57mm) mfg. by Mauser (with the famous banner trademark on rear of receiver) in 1935. Very Good, with all-matching numbers (including cleaning-rod). Bore is a bit rough but has strong rifling. 80% original commercial-quality bluing with some of it turning to plum, gorgeous crest. Wood has subtle tigerstriped figure with 1935-dated acceptance cartouche on left side and retains its original finish with considerable light to moderate handling-marks. DUTCH Model 1895 Mannlicher bolt-action carbine #6518C (6.5x53R Dutch) mfg. by Steyr in 1900.  Very Good condition with 75% bluing and bold markings. Slightly grainy but strong and bright bore. All-matching except for bolt (#1111) with wooden side to triggerguard. Buttstock has some really lovely striped figure in the grain and 1916-dated Hembrug cartouche on right side. Not import-marked. INDONESIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher bolt-action carbine #A3277 (.303 British) mfg. by Hembrug in 1915 and altered for the .303 round in 1953 (with added muzzle-break). Very Good condition with 50% mottled metal finish and bold markings. Slightly grainy but strong bore. JAPANESE Type I (eye) Carcano bolt-action long rifle #16663 (6.5x50 Japanese) mfg. by Beretta in 1939.  Very Good PLUS condition with 90% bluing, some minor blood-pitting on first 5" of barrel and front barrel-band (apparently the result of a bayoneting). Excellent Near-mirror-bore. Wood retains its original finish and has some of the usual scuffs and dings, joint in wood separating (but not an issue other than cosmetic). JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action long rifle, Series 30, #9824 (6.5x50 Japanese) mfg. by Jinsen Arsenal, Inchon Korea in 1938.  Excellent-plus condition with 99% bluing and very bold markings. Near-perfect mirror-bore, mum ground (as usual), serial numbers on various parts mismatched. Wood retains its original finish and has almost no scuffs and dings. JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action cut-down long-rifle to carbine length #1949208 (rechambered in the 1960's by the Chinese to 7.62x39) mfg. by Koishikawa Arsenal (Tokyo) in c.1920.  Very Good condition with better than 80% original bluing, some scattered rust-spots on metal. Mismatched, mum is struck-over Japanese symbol for 1st Tokyo Army Arsenal (photo), no cleaning rod.  Bore is roughly reamed, buttstock and handguard have original finish with considerable handling-marks, scrapes and gouges, with a 2" crack on right side and 1/2" crack at tang.  Rarely offered and functional . JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle, Series 2, #18352 (7.7x58 Japanese) mfg. by Toriimatsu  (Nagoya) in early 1939. Excellent condition with 95+% bluing and very bold markings, includes cleaning-rod and anti-aircraft wings on rear-sight. Near-perfect mirror-bore, mum ground (as usual). Wood retains its original finish and has a few of the usual scuffs as well as some evident "notches" on forend that look to be purposely applied. A handsome example, not import-marked. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle, Series 33, #52984 (7.7x58 Japanese) mfg. by Toyo Kogyo  (Hiroshima) in 1943. Excellent condition with 95+% bluing and very bold markings. Wood retains its original finish and has quite a few dings and bangs, a small (1/4" x 2") loss beneath bolt-handle  Still a very handsome, functional example, includes cleaning rod, not import-marked. JAPANESE Type 2 Arisaka bolt-action PARATROOPER take-down rifle #10381 (7.7x58 Japanese) mfg. by Toriimatsu  (Nagoya) in 1944. Excellent condition with 95+% bluing and very bold markings. Near-perfect mirror-bore, mum delicately ground (as usual) but partially visible, all-matching numbers throughout. Wood retains its original finish and has only a few minor handling-marks. Forend and back-part both numbered #300, includes cleaning-rod and aircraft rear-sights. LUXEMBOURG Model FN-49 Saive semiautomatic rifle #3041 (.30-06) mfg. by Fabrique National  in c.1955.  Near Excellent condition with 95% black-enamel finish, all-matching numbers. Bore is rough but lands and grooves are sharply defined, AL stamped above chamber.  Very attractive black-walnut stock with subtle tiger-striped fiddleback pattern on left side. SWEDISH Model AG42B Ljungmann semiautomatic rifle #15293 (6.5x55) mfg. by CARL GUSTAF in 1943. Excellent condition, with 90% bluing.  Bore is a bit rough but rifling still quite strong (disk reads 6.50/3). TURKISH  Model 48 bolt-action "forestry" carbine # 164 (8x50R Lebel), originally mfg. as a FRENCH Model 16 Berthier rifle by St. Ettienne during WWI and converted to its current configuration in 1948.  Very Good condition, with 60% bluing (some turned to plum), bore is bright and very strong.  Bolt-body is matching, streaked (ash?) U.S.A. Model of 1917 "Enfield" bolt-action rifle #708009 (.30-06) mfg. by Eddystone in June 1918 with correct E / 6-18 barrel. A non-reworked example in Excellent condition with 90% or better bluing and a mirror-bright strong bore.  Has British proofs on receiver and bolt-handle. Wood is really lovely streaked walnut with two dents on left side. U.S.A. Model of 1917 "Enfield" bolt-action rifle #1236812 (.30-06) mfg. by Eddystone in 1918 with W / 2-19 marked barrel. A reworked example in Excellent condition with 90% or better phosphate external finish and mirror-bright sharp bore.  Bolt and wood R-marked, safety, and other small parts all marked with E.  Has ordnance-bombs on receiver and bolt-handle. Wood has some minor handling-marks but apparently retains its original finish. Includes period cloth sling. Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $425.  C&R  SOLD

U.S.A. Model 03-A3 "Springfield" bolt-action rifle #3851463 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington Arms  in June, 1943 with matching-dated RA barrel.  Excellent-plus condition (looks virtually unissued) with a perfect, mirror bore and 100% original uniform gray-green Parkerizing.  Stock has OG (Ogden Arsenal) cartouche as well as many tiny inspection stamps and has P cartouche on the bottom behind triggerguard. Sight-hood is present, includes original worn 1907-type sling, no import-marks.  Ex Department of Civilian Marksmanship with original 1957-dated sales-slip and letterPHOTOS . . . $650.   C&R   SOLD
