Crest above chamber very bold, all-matching numbers (including cleaning-rod), bore is strong and mirror-bright. Nicely-figured walnut stock and handguard has very few handling-marks (mostly compressions). Not import-marked, a gorgeous example of an Argentine arsenal rework. BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA Model 98k SNIPER bolt-action Mauser rifle # 8459gg (8mm) mfg. by Brno in . Excellent-PLUS condition with 100% bluing, Kriegsmodel configuration with all stamped parts having all-matching numbers (where numbered at all), bore mirror-bright and nearly perfect. Nazi markings mostly effaced wherever they occur. An original high-turret sniper with ZRAK Model ON-6x32 scope with eye-cup on MAUSER banner mounts. Buttstock is laminated with eagle/H cartouche. BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.2 Enfield bolt-action rifle # A20923 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in 1955. Excellent-PLUS condition, literally UNISSUED AS NEW fresh out of it's arsenal-wrap with 100% "stoving" (black-painted finish) and mirror-bright bore. All-matching numbers with 1-marked bolt-head. CHINESE Type 56 SKS Siminov semiautomatic rifle #10270303 (7.62x39) mfg. by Factory 26 arsenal in 1966 with hard-chromed spike-type bayonet. All-matching serial numbers, complete in near-excellent condition with 95% original bluing with near-perfect, chromed bore. Cleaning-kit still in the butt-trap. FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 54880 (7.62x54R), barrel manufactured by TIKKA in 1944 on a round receiver. A German WWI sniper
GERMAN Model Gewehr 98 SNIPER bolt-action Mauser rifle # 1200
ll (8x57mm) mfg. by Mauser in 1916. Excellent condition, with all bluing intact (receiver "in the white" as is proper). Has prewar HELIOS 5A scope # 19456 attached to rifle by means of double-claw receiver-mounts. All matching numbers, nice mirror-bright bore. Beech buttstock has original finish with intact cartouches, reproduction leather sling. A lovingly restored example of a WWI sniper rifle, several parts (including scope-mount) in my opinion professionally renumbered to match receiver (and priced to reflect that fact). GERMAN Model Karabiner 98a SNIPER bolt-action Mauser carbine # 5077cc (8x57mm) mfg. by Erfurt in 1915, left side of stock also stamped 1920. Excellent condition, with all bluing intact. Includes Gerard 4x WWI-era scope # 46739 attached to rifle by means of double-claw receiver-mount. All matching numbers, nice mirror-bright bore, correct type bolt has bottom of knob flattened and checkered. Buttstock has original finish with intact cartouches, tang of buttplate marked S.P. / 2. H. 26. Still retains its stacking-hook with what appears to be an original sling. A restored example of a very rare rifle, many parts without a doubt renumbered to match. GERMAN Model DSM 34 bolt-action single-shot scoped rifle # h3667 (.22 LR) mfg. by Gustav Genschow & Co., AG (GECO) in c.1938. Excellent condition, with all bluing intact and original finish on wood. Has Landlicht "O" 4x56 scope attached with Akah claw mounts & rings and excellent optics. Barrel has R.A.D. stamped above chamber, right side of wood has eagle holding swastika above R.A.D. and 6/177 on right side, eagle holding swastika at grip behind triggerguard. Wood is highly figured tigerstriped Walnut with tacked-on brass plaque on left side reading WETTKAMPF 1939 N.S.R.K.B. KREIS-VERBAND MÜNCHEN-NYMPHENBURG with swastika superimposed on war-memorial. A lovely zf-41 restoration
GERMAN Model 98k bolt-action rifle # 3051b (8x57mm) mfg. by Mauser Borsigwalde (factory code ar) in 1942. Excellent-PLUS condition with attached cag-code zf-41/1 scope and matching mount (includes rain-shields and matching carrying-case for the scope). All parts matching receiver. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright, very bold German markings wherever they should be. Includes cleaning-rod and (matching) locking-screws. Not import-marked. To be honest this rifle simply looks too good to be true, and possibly isn't, so we are selling this as a likely "restored" example of a scarce zf-41 98k for about half of what a guaranteed-original rifle (if there is such a thing) would easily fetch on today's market. Excellent-PLUS condition with attached Nazi-marked Hensoldt 4x scope with excellent optics and double-claw receiver-mount. All numbered parts matching receiver. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright, very bold Nazi markings. Core rifle appears to be all naturally-matching, bolts and all bolt parts (WaA214) appear to be renumbered to match rest of rifle. Excellent condition with attached Voigtlander (ddx-code) ZF4 scope (No. 25590) with excellent optics and matching mounts. All numbered parts matching receiver. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright, very bold Nazi markings, Duofoil handguard cracked at top (as is quite common). Includes cleaning-rod, front sight-hood, repro sling (with authentic buckle), rubber muzzle-cap, and original users manual rolled-up in butt-trap. JAPANESE Type I Carcano bolt-action rifle # D2488 (6.5x50) mfg. by Beretta in 1939. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 100% bluing (likely reblued but if so, was professionally done) with plum-colored receiver and near-excellent mostly-bright bore. Stock has been refinished with attached rectangular plaque commemorating its capture at Leyte Gulf in 1944-45. Includes original sling with Japanese characters painted on it. Not import-marked. PORTUGUESE Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # G4297 (8x57), mfg. by Mauser in 1941. Excellent-PLUS condition, a restored Russian-capture with 100% high-gloss bluing on all parts. Has a somewhat bright and strong bore, gorgeous Portuguese crest above chamber. Completely restored, all parts renumbered to match receiver. All Nazi proofs intact and very bold. Includes front sight-hood and original 98k sling. Many of these Portuguese-contract rifles were used by the Wehrmacht during WWII. An original PU sniper
RUSSIAN Model 91/30 SNIPER rifle # LA7785 (7.62x54R) mfg. at Izhevsk in 1944. An Excellent-PLUS rearsenaled genuine original PU-sniper with close to 100% bluing and a strong bright bore. All-matching numbers (the scope-mount electropencilled with both the rifle and scope numbers, the bolt, magazine-floorplate and buttplate stamped with compete serial-number including letter prefix), scope # 4448714 has near-perfect optics and is correct for late Izhevsk snipers, but does NOT match original scope-number stamped on left side of barrel-shank (b40912). Stock is quite nice with that thick reddish-shellac that tends to chip and peel, a couple minor scrapes in finish from handling rather than use, else as perfect and example as one could expect to encounter. A reproduction SVT-40 sniper
RUSSIAN Model SVT-40 semiautomatic Tokarev rifle # CP3076 (8x57mm) mfg. by Tula in 1941. Excellent-PLUS (as rearsenaled) condition with attached 1940-dated SVT scope (No. 15959) with excellent optics and reproduction (matte-blue) mount. All numbered parts matching receiver. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright, has AVT-configuration stock having arsenal repair to left side. Receiver grooved for scope, notch for mount crudely filed into top of receiver. Includes correct sling, rare original canvas scope-cover holding SVT tool. Another repro SVT-40 sniper would cost at least this much to concoct today. PHOTOS . . . $1500. C&R
SWEDISH Model 96 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 46575 (6.5x55), mfg. by Mauser in 1900 with straight-bolt. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 98% original bluing on all parts. Has a very bright and strong bore (bore-disc indicating 6.49/0). All-matching numbers except rear-sight (909), magazine-floorplate (336), rear barrel-band (204), front barrel-band (837) and cleaning-rod (389). A really nice 41B Swedish sniper
SWEDISH Model 41B SNIPER Mauser bolt-action rifle # 73422 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1900. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 98% original bluing on all parts (some spotting on magazine-floorplate and triggerguard from actual use). Ajack 4x90 scope has very clear optics with upper and lower mounts as well as scope-can numbered to receiver. Has a very bright and strong bore (bore-disc indicating 6.51/0). All-matching numbers except magazine-floorplate (352), rear barrel-band (251), front barrel-band (783) and cleaning-rod (006). Lovely streaked Beech stock & handguard has only a few minor handling-marks, scratches and compressions. U.S.A. Model of 1917 "Enfield" bolt-action rifle # 393557 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in 1918 with R / 6-18 marked barrel. A WWII reworked example in Excellent condition with 95% or better Parkerized finish. Bore is lightly pitted but very strong with some areas of roughness in grooves. U.S.A. Model of 1903-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 4188433 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in December 1943. Excellent condition with all R-marked parts and 95% Gray Parkerizing on all metal. A choice example with near-perfect 2-groove bore and lovely walnut stock having very few minor dings, DAS cartouche with FJA initials, OG (for Ogden Arsenal) also stamped on left side of stock. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 5020718 (.30-06) mfg. by International Harvester Company in June, 1954. An all-correct original ex-DCM rifle with the "Postage Stamp" receiver marking. Excellent condition, with nearly-full uniform dark-gray Parkerizing and a strong bright bore. All-correct IHC-marked parts (barrel correctly marked LMR 6-54 A54). Walnut IHC buttstock (# 1724 in barrel-channel) and handguards with faint DAS cartouche. Wood has very few dings and nicks from handling and storage, but is otherwise sound with cleaning-kit in butt-trap. Shipped by the Department of Civilian Marksmanship to a New Jersey customer on Nov. 11th, 1987, complete with documentation from CMP and detailed data-sheet.
