BRAZIL Model 1908 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 499LL (7x57) mfg. by DWM, Oberndorf in c.1914. Very Good, with around 80% original bluing (receiver was in the white but has seriously browned with age). Bore is strong and somewhat bright, Brazilian crest is bold and attractive. Bolt not matching, all other numbered parts (and stock) stamped 499. Includes cleaning-rod, walnut stock has some handling marks but has not been sanded. Not import marked. PHOTOS . . . $375. CHILEAN Model 1895 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # A3337 (7x57) mfg. by Ludwig Loewe in 1895 with 29" barrel and straight-bolt. Excellent condition, with 95% or better bluing on all metal. Excellent PLUS bore with very strong rifling and mirror-bright. All-matching numbers including cleaning-rod and stock, Chilean crest above chamber very bold. Straight-grained walnut stock has original finish (with clear 1895-dated acceptance-cartouche on left side) as well as some dings and other handling-marks and a few compressions from storage. CHILEAN Model 1895 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # D7019 (7x57) mfg. by Ludwig Loewe in 1895 with 29" barrel and straight-bolt. Very Good PLUS condition, with 80% bluing on the metal (some wear on receiver and triggerguard). Excellent PLUS bore with very strong rifling and mirror-bright. All-matching numbers (erxcept magazine floorplate) including cleaning-rod and stock, Chilean crest above chamber faint but discernable. FRENCH Model 16 Berthier bolt-action carbine # G36154 (8x50R) mfg. by Chattelerault with replacement 1932 dated Chattelerault barrel. Very Good condition, with much remaining bluing and a mostly bright, very strong bore. All visible numbered parts except triggerguard stamped G36154 (matching), top of barrel and receiver stamped N, has magazine extension for 5 round clip (included) Walnut stock banded up buy sound with no cracks, includes correct leather sling. GREEK modified Model 1907-15 Berthier bolt-action carbine # P62638 (8x50R Lebel) mfg. by St. Etienne in c.1918 with undated Manufrance carbine barrel. Very Good or better condition, with nearly full bluing on external metal. No matching serial numbers, addition number 13874 stamped on right side of barrel. neither matches barrel. Bore is very bright and quite strong, stock has many handling marks and one interesting arsenal-repair on right side. Greece obtained many 1907-15 Berthier infantry rifles from France immediately after WWI and modified them by installing new carbine barrels (made by the commercial firm Manufrance), with new front band with bayonet-lug (which does NOT fit the Berthier bayonets), a Mannlicher-Schoenauer front sight and modified 1907-15 rear sight. This carbine retain its long-rifle straight bolt (with large knob) and utilized a 3-shot clip (included). Rear sling swivel has been removed. ITALIAN Model 1891 Mannlicher-Carcano Truppi-Speciali carbine # Q9158 (6.5x52) mfg. by Brescia in 1915. Very Good or so condition, with 60% original bluing remaining (much faded to brown). Strong and quite bright bore, missing cleaning rod. Stock is matching barrel and has original finish that is banged up from use and storage. JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action carbine Series 2, # 10221 (6.5x50) mfg. by Kokura Arsenal in c.1936. Very Good condition with much bluing remaining, no matching serial numbers, mum ground (as usual), missing cleaning rod. JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action short rifle # 958328 (6.5x50) mfg. at Nagoya in c.1920 as a Type 38 long rifle, and later modified at the Chigusa factory of Nagoya arsenal with shorter (25") barrel and stock. Excellent condition with full bluing on all major metal parts. Mum has been ground, bore is extremely bright and strong. Bolt (and all bolt parts) numbered 186 (not matching). Missing cleaning rod, walnut stock and handguard has original finish with scrapes, dings and other handling marks. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 7 # 37933 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in February-May 1944. Excellent or better condition with full original bluing. Bolt and all bolt parts stamped 430 (not matching), mum appears intact at first glance, but closer examination finds a two tiny cuts (likely caused by a bayonet) in a X shape on mum. This type has ladder rear sight with peep, cylindrical bolt handle with grooved safety knob. Cleaning rod missing, stock and long handguard has been refinished with a reddish stain. SOVIET Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action faux SNIPER rifle # LI4957 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Tula in 1938 on a low-wall receiver, barrel stamped [SA] on right side. Excellent-PLUS condition with 99+% remaining bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Of course this is a put-together Century Arms reproduction PU sniper with clear 1943-dated PU optics, all numbered parts numbered LI4957 (without letter prefixes), mount not numbered at all. SOVIET Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action faux SNIPER rifle # YOOC454 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1943. Excellent-PLUS condition with 99+% remaining bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Of course this is a put-together Century Arms reproduction PU sniper with clear PU optics (refurb date 1966), all numbered parts numbered electropenciled YOOC454, mount not numbered at all. Has mirror-bright and strong bore (disk stamped 6.50/0). All matching serial numbers with the exception of unmarked bolt. Rear sight has been removed and replaced with B-SQUARE no-drill scope mount.
