AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher cavalry-carbine # 5684R (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr in 1917. Excellent, arsenal-refinished to new condition with full 100% bluing and sharp mostly-bright bore. Bolt is not numbered, rear-sight is of the long type, buttstock is a gorgeous Circassian walnut with lovely figure and very few handling marks (small repair by buttplate and hairline crack in handguard). Very Good, most original blue remaining, some of it browned with some scattered minor rust, bore is rough and dark. Bolt is not numbered, rear-sight is of the short type, buttstock is figured Circassian walnut with initals CW carved into right side and a few handling marks (thin hairline-crack at rear of handguard). BRITISH No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # H11940 (.303 British) mfg. by British Small Arms in 1917. An original example in Near Excellent condition with 90% or better original bluing and sharp mirror-bright bore, rear-sight is windage-adjustable. All numbered parts matching receiver, OSTER. GENDARMARIE enclosing Hapsburg eagle (Austrian Police) stamped atop barrel-flat. Wood has many handling-marks but is sound and apparently retains its original finish. Not import-marked. BRITISH Model No.4 Mk. I Enfield bolt-action rifle # JC21992 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in December 1943. Excellent, with full gray Parkerized finish on metal. Has an excellent 5-groove mirror-bore, matching bolt with 1-marked bolt-head. Savage-made magazine in excellent condition (looks new). CHINESE Model "Chaing Kai-Shek" Mauser bolt-action short- rifle # G8997 (8mm) mfg. by Chinese State Arsenal in June 1943. Good condition, with some original finish and some light rust at the wood-line. Only triggerguard and front-band matches receiver, receiver has Chinese markings under star, date 32-6 below. CHINESE Model "Chaing Kai-Shek" Mauser bolt-action short- rifle # F1183 (8mm) mfg. by Chinese State Arsenal in c.1946. Good condition, with quite a lot of original finish and some light rust at wood-line. Magazine-floorplate, bolt-release, rear-sight and triggerguard matches receiver, bow & arrow in circle above chamber, white-painted Chinese character on right side, stamp of Fourth Nationalist Army on left side. FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # DYE1133 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1939 with [SA] Finn-property stamp on left side of barrel-shank and 41 Finn-rework stamp on right side. Excellent condition with 90% bluing, matching bolt (1133), bore is gorgeous and mirror-bright (counterbored at muzzle). Has hooded-post front sight, includes cleaning-rod. FRENCH Model 1916 Berthier bolt-action infantry rifle # FN50224 (8x50R Lebel), mfg. by St. Ettienne in 1916 with 20.12" barrel. Fair condition, N-marked chamber, all matching numbers except for stock, bore is a very rough and pitted mess, external metal also pitted in spots. Bold markings on receiver, updated with tangent rear-sight proofed S/42G. Root of bolt handle and buttstock force-matched, magazine-floorplate and triggerguard matching, all other parts mismatched. A Spanish Civil War rework in Excellent condition, with 95% bluing. Receiver scrubbed but markings still faintly visible, updated with tangent rear-sight proofed S/42G. All parts mismatched, bold flaming-bomb enclosing MP8 cartouche on right side of stock attests to its Spanish Civil War heritage. The bore is very strong with frosted grooves. Includes cleaning-rod. Has small-ring receiver scrubbed of any markings, matching bolt. Bold flaming-bomb enclosing MP8 cartouche on right side of stock attests to its Spanish Civil War heritage. Correct Polish WZ29 features include protective "wings" on front sight and bent-bolt. Left side-rail stamped K98 for some reason.
