BRITISH Enfield No.4 Mk.1/3 bolt-action rifle # AH3174 (.303 British) made by Maltby in 1943 and has undergone a Factory Thorough Repair in 1951. Very Good condition, all matching serial numbers with mirror-bright bore, rework markings on left side of receiver very faint. Includes unmarked military web sling. EGYPTIAN Model FN-49 Saive semiautomatic rifle # D11456 (8x57), mfg. in the mid-1950's by Fabrique National in Belgium. Near excellent overall with bold "Eagle of Saladin" crest above chamber and nearly full original painted finish, action-cover serial number does not match receiver. Excellent very bright bore, walnut stock has original finish with a few of the usual handling marks and Western numeral 197 stenciled on both sides. 100% functional, these are getting to be scarce again. FINN Model 91 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action infantry rifle # 209231 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by Izhevsk in 1915 with [SA] Finn property mark on left side of barrel-shank. Good condition with no bluing remaining on all metal parts and a very bright bore (has been counterbored at muzzle). Bolt-body renumbered 209231 (matching), remainder of numbered parts scrubbed (as usual). No handguard, original one-piece Russian stock has many handling marks but is sound with no cracks. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 28217 (7.62x54R) mfg. by VKT in 1941 on a scrubbed receiver. Good to Very Good condition with some bluing remaining, bore is dark from shooting corrosive ammo. No matching serial numbers, a few Arabic numerals atop barrel-shank, else no overt Turkish markings. Bore is strong and very bright. Original "roller-coaster" rear sight is functional. Includes cleaning rod. Walnut buttstock and handguard sound with some of the expected handling marks, western numeral 82 stenciled on both sides. An excellent candidate for WWI re-enactions. GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 9382 (8x57) mfg. by Sauer & Son (code S/147/G) in 1935. A Russian reworked rifle in Excellent-PLUS condition, with 100% rebluing and intact Weimar eagles (with folded wings). Has all-milled parts (except stamped front band) electro-penciled 9382 to match receiver, bore is strong and mirror bright. Has all-milled parts electro-penciled 3786 to match receiver, bore is strong and mirror bright. GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 3041u (8x57) mfg. by Brno (code dot 43) in 1943. Good to Very Good condition with 50% bluing on barreled receiver, less on small parts. No matching numbers, bore is dark and nasty. rear barrel band milled, other parts stamped, cleaning rod likely a reproduction. GREEK Model 1930 Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # A8265 (8x57) mfg. by Fabrique National in 1930. Excellent condition, with somewhat mottled external metal and bold Greek crest atop chamber. The bore excellent and is mirror-bright. Has matching bolt, cleaning-rod broken off inside channel. Buttstock and handguard have a few gashes but else few of the usual handling-marks. ITALIAN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action Truppe Speciale carbine # 2486 (rechambered to 8x57 from 6.5), receiver unmarked.. Metal in excellent condition, with full original bluing and a gorgeous, mirror-bright bore, fixed rear sight marked 7.9, top of bolt stamped with large S. Buttstock is beat-up but serviceable. PORTUGUESE Model 904/39 Mauser-Verguiero bolt-action short rifle # G6159 (8x57) mfg. by DWM in 1904. Very Good condition with all-matching numbers (small bolt parts mismatched) and bold royal crest above chamber. Original blued finish (browning on triggerguard and magazine-floorplate) with a nice mirror-bright bore, includes cleaning-rod. Stock has a few handling marked but is sound. Originally chambered in the obsolete 6.5x58 Verguiero cartridge, these rifles were rechambered to 8x57 in Germany just before WWII and have one of the smoothest actions of any military rifle. ROMANIAN Model vz24 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # XR12686 (8x57mm) mfg. by CZ in c.1940. Very Good or better original condition, with nearly full bluing. Bore is very bright and strong, bolt and stock serial numbers matching receiver, top of chamber blank and does not appear to have markings "scrubbed". SOVIET Model 91/30 PU SNIPER Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # GK1671 (7.62x54R), barrel mfg. by Izhevsk in 1943. Excellent-PLUS rearsenaled condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). All-matching numbers,. 1943-dated PU scope numbered 4318653, same # electropenciled on side of scope mount. Stock has a real nice shellac finish. Includes sling and leather lens-caps. SWEDISH Model 96 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 256070 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1909. Near Excellent condition, about 85% external bluing with near-perfect mirror-bore, all-matching numbers except barrel-bands and magazine-floorplate. TURKISH Model vz22 rifle # E2117 (8x57) mfg. by Brno in 1922. Good to Very Good condition, no matching serial numbers. factory address above chamber. Some bluing remaining, with a Very Good bright and strong bore. No overt Turkish markings, but rear sight has Arabie numerals. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 540779 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in March, 1942 with a SA 2-53 replacement barrel. Near Excellent condition with full Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, bore is bright (TE = 3.0, MW = 2.5) with very strong rifling. Features all early SA marked parts. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action SNIPER rifle # 5581 (8x57), a reworked German 98k rifle, reblued with all Nazi markings removed and Yugoslav crest above chamber fitted with a ZRAK Model ON 6x32 scope. Excellent condition, with 95% or better bluing and an excellent mirror-bore. Bolt and magazine-floorplate stamped 5581 (including stock), rear mount has MAUSER banner on left side.
