CZECH Model CZ-24 semiautomatic pistol #119168 (.380 ACP) mfg. at Ceska Zbrojovka, Strakonice in 1937 .  Excellent condition with all-matching numbers except magazine, some holster-wear at sharp corners and edges. Bore is excellent, markings are very sharp, and dark-brown bakelite grips are not chipped.  Not import-marked.  PHOTOS . . . $350.   C&R  SOLD

CZECH Model CZ-38 semiautomatic pistol #262715 (.380 ACP) mfg. at Ceska Zbrojovka, Strakonice under Nazi Occupation in 1939.  Excellent condition with all-matching numbers, some holster-wear at sharp corners and edges. Bore is excellent, markings are very sharp, and dark-brown bakelite grips are not chipped. This pistol was assimilated into German inventory as the Pistolen 39 (t) and was reportedly a favorite of the Luftwaffe.  Not import-marked.  PHOTOS . . . $450.   C&R   SOLD

GERMAN Model 1896 Broomhandle Mauser semiautomatic pistol #464234 (.30 Mauser) mfg. by Mauser in c.1922.  Excellent refinished condition, 4" barrel, retains over 98% re-bluing over external pitting with barely any rifling visible in the bore. Nice walnut grips, lanyard-ring missing.  Includes what appears to be a repro holster with leather shoulder-strap.   PHOTOS . . . $325.  C&R  SOLD

GERMAN Model 37M Frommer semiautomatic pistol #21465 (.32 ACP),  mfg. by Budapest arsenal (code jhv) in 1941. Near Excellent condition, with minor wear to corners and sharp edges but 90+% bluing coverage throughout. All-matching numbers (including finger-grip magazine). Bore is strong and extremely bright. This was the official sidearm of the Hungarian Army throughout WWII as well as a popular Luftwaffe sidearm.  Nice grooved-walnut grips.  Not import-marked.  PHOTOS . . . $425.  C&R  

JAPANESE Type 14 Nambu semiautomatic pistol, #18438 (8x21 Nambu) mfg. at Nambu in January, 1931  (Showa 6.1) with small trigger-guard. All-matching numbers except magazine (#062, of the correct nickel-plated type), Excellent condition with excellent bright strong bore and 95+% external bluing . JAPANESE Type 14 Nambu semiautomatic pistol, Series 2, #51389 (8x21 Nambu) mfg. at Nambu / Chuo Kogyo in August, 1944  (Showa 19.8) with large trigger-guard. All-matching numbers except magazine (#219), Excellent condition with 95% bluing and excellent bright strong bore. SPANISH Model 1921 (400) semiautomatic pistol #70065 (9mm Largo) mfg. by Astra in 1936. All-matching numbers, Excellent condition with 98% bluing (probably a reblue), some minor wear at corners and edges. All-markings are clear (serial # on frame restamped, but matches original # which is still visible), bore is mirror-like and very strong with little evidence of use, grips are smooth walnut, mag is un-numbered. AUSTRALIAN No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # A70586 (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal in 1920. Near Excellent condition with strong, bright bore. All-matching numbers (including magazine), side of receiver marked with 7-pointed star and shield motif. Wood has numerous handling-marks, but is sound with no cracks. Brass stock-disc marked A.I.F. / 48 BN (48th Battalion, Australian Imperial Forces). Includes U,S, Model 1907 leather sling. PHOTOS . . . $325.  C&R  SOLD

BRITISH No.5 Mk.1 "Jungle Carbine" Enfield bolt-action carbine #V4680 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in April, 1946.   Excellent-PLUS condition, with 95% of the "stoving" intact. Absolutely gorgeous mirror-bore, all-matching numbers including stock and magazine, 0-marked bolt-head. Wood is gorgeous with original finish and very few handling-marks, five notches cut on forend, L-marked (long) buttstock.  Not import-marked.  PHOTOS . . . $350.   C&R   SOLD

CHINESE Model  "Chiang Kai-Shek" Mauser bolt-action rifle # K8769 (8mm), mfg. in Dec. 1942. Basically a copy of the Mauser "Standard Modell" with fingergroove stock and straight bolt in Very Good condition with 80% or better bluing.  Bolt is not matching, bore is rough but has bold lands and grooves. Stock and handguard shows some hard use, stock unit-disc marked E. 16. 57. PHOTOS . . . $225. C&R   SOLD

CZECH Model VZ-52 semiautomatic rifle # C35413 (7.62x45) mfg. by CZ in 1957. Excellent condition, with 90% light-gray parkerized finish on metal (some of it turning plum) and original finish on wood. Perfect mirror-bore, really lovely highly-figured wood stock stamped with matching numbers and only having a few dings from handling.  Includes seldom-seen front sight-hood (which locks the nut at the muzzle), the cleaning-kit still in the buttrap. GERMAN Standard Modell bolt-action Mauser rifle #B57580 (8mm) mfg. by Mauser in c.1930.  Very Good PLUS condition, with 80% thinning bluing and great mirror-bore.  Essentially this is a put-together rifle using a Standard Modell action, an excellent 98k barrel, a CZ straight-bolt and cleverly cut-down Turkish Mauser wood (with nice finish).  Essentially a "shooter" with Mauser banner atop chamber.  Includes cleaning-rod.  Not import-marked.  PHOTO . . . $195.   C&R  SOLD

ITALIAN Model 1891 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action infantry carbine #SM6697 (6.5x52 Carcano) mfg. by Terni in  1893.   Excellent, with nearly full bluing and bright bore (sleeved using the Tubata process) with rounded lands and grooves (still a really good shooter, though). Straight-bolt of early type (correct for this rifle), stock number matches receiver. Wood is unusually nice with only minor handling-marks. Not import-marked, early-dated Carcano rifles are quite scarce. PHOTOS . . . $400.   Antique, no FFL required 

ITALIAN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action Cavalry carbine with attached folding-batonet #UF9941 (6.5x52) mfg. by Beretta in 1940 (year XVIII of Mussolini).  Excellent condition with 95+% full bluing and an excellent, mirror-bright bore.  Bent-bolt is numbered 9369, stock number does not match. Wood has been re-arsenaled with FAG 60 cartouche, only a few dings since. PHOTOS . . . $125. C&R  SOLD

ITALIAN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action Truppi Speciale carbine #RA95345 (8x57) mfg. by Brescia in c.1943 (undated).   Excellent with nearly full bluing on receiver (slight wear on triggerguard and barrel-bands) and excellent, mirror-bright bore.  Bent-bolt not numbered (as usual) and stock number matches receiver. JAPANESE Type I Carcano infantry rifle #G4899 (6.5x50 Jap)  mfg. by Brescia in 1939. Excellent condition, with nearly full bluing and a bright sharp bore.  Stock is quite nice with a minimum of handling-marks.  A very handsome specimen, not import marked. PHOTOS . . . $325.  C&R   SOLD

RUSSIAN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle #58413 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Izhevsk in 1942 on a Remington hex-receiver. Arsenal refurbished to as-new condition with 100% bluing on metal and reddish shellac on wood, a few scrapes in finish. All-matching stamped numbers, bore is neat-perfect and mirror-bright.  Includes cleaning-rod, web-sling, ammo-pouch, cleaning-kit and matching-numbered spike-bayonet. . . $175.   C&R   SOLD

SPANISH Model 1895 Cavalry carbine #4005 (7x57) mfg. at Oviedo c.1910 (undated).  Very Good condition, with 80% somewhat worn external bluing.  Bolt matches receiver, no other parts numbered. SWEDISH Model 94/14 Cavalry carbine #60600 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1915. Very Good condition, with 80% original bluing.  Bore is pristine and mirror-bright, all-matching numbers throughout, two-screw stock unit-disk reads 2 / K.8 / No 337 (issued to the second company of the 8th Cavalry regiment, weapon #337). Stock and handguard are of walnut with some fiddleback figure and has a few of the expected handling-marks.  Includes correct sling and buckle as well as correct un-numbered bayonet & scabbard also in VG condition.  PHOTOS  . . . $850.   C&R  SOLD

SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle #403309 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1917. Excellent condition, with 95% or better bluing, excellent mirror-bore with 6.53/1 bore-disk.  All-matching numbers except buttplate and cleaning-rod. Back of receiver drilled & tapped diagonally for target rear-sight.  Walnut stock and handguard, the usual minor handling and storage marks on wood, evidence of yellow range-plate having been shellacked to right side. . . $250.  C&R   SOLD

SWEDISH Model AG42B Ljungmann semiautomatic rifle #12845 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1943. Excellent PLUS condition, looks AS NEW with 99% bluing (almost no wear on metal).  Bore is pristine and mirror-bright (disk reads 6.48/0). Stock has very few handling-marks. Includes cleaning-rod and sling. Not import-marked, one of the best examples we have ever handled. PHOTOS  . . . $850.   C&R   SOLD

SWISS Model 1911 Schmidt-Rubin straight-pull rifle #351295 (7.5x55 Swiss) mfg. at Waffenfabrik Bern in 1913.   Very Good condition, with 70% original bluing (worn on bottom of magazine and triggerguard from carry and on sharp edges elsewhere). All-matching numbers, bore is near-perfect and mirror-bright, streaked tigerstripe-walnut stock has some dings and dents from rough handling but retains its original finish.   Suitable for modern loads and doubtless an incredible shooter (as all of these really are) with a terrific trigger.  Not import-marked. VENEZUELAN Model FN-49 Saive semiautomatic rifle #4431 (7x57) mfg. by Fabrique Nationale in c.1953.   Excellent condition, with 95% original painted finish (stoving) and mirror-perfect bore. All-matching numbers, Venezuelan crest on receiver is extremely bold and beautiful, with slotted muzzle-break.  Extremely lovely streaked-walnut stock has virtually no handling-marks but was lightly sanded in the distant past, bold  FUERZAS ARMADAS VENEZUELA ("Venezuelan Armed Forces") cartouche.
