BELGIAN Model 1935 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 006 (.30-06) mfg. in Liege in 1951 with crest of notorious King Leopold I atop chamber. Excellent condition with 95+% original bluing and a sharp mirror-bright bore. All matching (low) serial numbers.  Missing cleaning-rod, but remaining Belgian parts are present.  Receiver is marked MANUFACTURE D'ARMES DE GUERRE with tangent-sight calibrated from 100-1900 meters. Stock has been lightly sanded with only a few minor handling-marks since.  Not import-marked.   PHOTOS . . . $950.    C&R   

BRITISH Martini-Henry Mark II short-lever single-shot carbine (converted from musket) # B3948 (.303 British) marked on right side of receiver as mfg. by  London Small Arms in 1884 and  converted to .303 carbine by Henry Rifle Barrel Company (H.R.B. Co.) in 1899 (as indicated on left side of receiver).  Very Good or so condition, some external pitting with a shootable bore that has very strong rifling. Rear sight is a leaf adjustable from 200-2000 yards. Original stock has been sanded long ago with some small wood-putty repairs. Unit-disc marked 148. BRITISH Pattern 14 "Enfield" bolt-action rifle # 396586 (.303 British) mfg. by Remington in c.1915. Near Excellent condition with 85% or better oil-blacked finish (turning brown on small fittings). Bore is strong and mostly bright. Walnut stock has some nicks and scratches, unit-disk hole on the right side filled with wooden plug but has several adjacent unit marks stamped in the wood. Volley sights have been removed, many dents and dings in stock from actual use.  Includes repro Model 1905 brown leather sling in excellent condition.  Not import marked.   PHOTOS . . . $750. *      C&R    

BRITISH Pattern 14 "Enfield" bolt-action rifle # 321681 (.303 British) mfg. by Eddystone in c.1915. Near Excellent condition with 85% or better oil-blacked finish (turning brown on small fittings). Bore is strong and sorta bright, bottom of bolt numbered 70840 (NOT matching). Greek marking EK/3 EΩ stamped on top of chamber. Drill Purpose walnut stock has some nicks and scratches, unit-disk hole on the right side filled with wooden plug. handguard is a replacement from a U.S. Model 1917.  Both volley sights missing their range indicator (as usual). BRITISH No.4 Mk.1 bolt-action rifle # AK17032 (.303 British) mfg. by Maltby in 1943. Good or so condition with very little external finish remaining. No numbered parts matching, two-groove barrel is quite bright and very strong. Has L-shaped flip-type rear sight. BRITISH No.1 Mk.III* SMLE bolt-action rifle # M56418 (.303 British), a "dispersal" rifle mfg. by Birmingham Small Arms in 1941.  Near Excellent condition with nearly full oil-blacked finish on external metal. Bore is very bright and strong, all matching numbers including stock.  Stock has some handling-marks from actual use but is sound. Includes correct military web-sling. BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.2 Lee-Enfield bolt-action rifle # PF339121 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in January 1955.   Excellent-PLUS condition with 100% original Suncorite painted finish, all matching numbered parts (bolt, forend, magazine and bolt handle) smped PF339121 (matching). Has a gorgeous mirror 4-groove bore with 2-marked bolt-head, rear sight is of the milled ladder type. Beech stock and handguards is pristine with zero handling marks. CHILEAN Model 1895 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # M3592 (7x57) mfg. by DWM in 1899. Excellent condition, with 90% or so remaining bluing. All matching serial numbers (including stock and cleaning rod), has clear Chilean crest above chamber. Bore is quite bright with strong rifling, walnut stock has original finish with a few of the expected dings, dents and other handling-marks but is sound.  Not import marked. CHINESE Model 1933 Mauser Standard Modell bolt-action short rifle # C25844 (8x57) mfg. by Mauser in the mid-1930-'s with bent bolt.  Very Good condition, with 70% or so browned and fading bluing. No matching serial numbers, has bold Mauser banner above chamber, Nationalist Chinese Sun (with number 29 beneath) to left of serial number. Bore is dark with lots of crud but has strong rifling, stock is very dry with cracks at bottom of tang (repaired by tacks). No cleaning rod. Functional. PHOTOS . . . $750.     C&R      SOLD

EGYPTIAN "Rasheed" semiautomatic rifle # 4776 (7.62x39) mfg. by Maadi in 1968.   Excellent or so condition, 95% original blue finish with very strong mostly bright bore. FINN Model 39 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 37736 (7.62x54R), barrel by Valmet (VKT) in 1941 on an 1896 dated Sestroryetsk receiver.   Excellent condition, with full bluing. Bolt-knob stamped 7736 (matching). Bore is quite bright with strong rifling (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Finn two-piece postwar stock (squared finger-joints) has very little actual wear and a few nicks from transportation and storage. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 46444 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Valmet (VKT) in 1942 Excellent condition with 92% or better original bluing. Bolt-knob numbered 6444 (matching).  Bore is extremely strong and bright (and NOT counterbored). Three piece wartime stock (rounded finger-joints) has reinforcing to both sides at joint (as made) and very few minor handling marks. FRENCH Model 1949-56 MAS semiautomatic rifle with correct sniper scope and mount # G71284 (7.5x54) manufactured at St. Etienne in 1967.     Excellent condition, with full Parkerizing. Has great mirror-bright bore. Includes full compliment of accessories: four ten-round magazines, night sights, leather sling and slip-on rubber buttpad, and several leather pouches of cleaning utensils.  Wood stock has very few very minor handling marks on both sides.    PHOTOS . . . $2400.        C&R   

GERMAN Model Gewehr 98 bolt-action infantry rifle # 3096c (8x57mm) mfg. by V.C. Shilling in 1917.  Very Good PLUS condition, metal has much bluing (receiver in the white),  ASll parts but bolt numbered 3096, has a very strong and somewhat bright bore. Has original "roller coaster" rear sight (adjustment knobs seen to be frozen), missing cleaning rod.  Beech buttstock has been duffle-cut on forend (not repaired) with faint Imperial cartouches on right side.  Definitely a "bringback", not import marked. GERMAN Model Kar 98 bolt-action Mauser carbine # 4862x  (8x57mm) mfg. by Erfurt in 1916.  Very Good or better condition, most bluing remains. All matching numbers except bolt anf magazine floorplate (bolt matches itself). GERMAN  Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 136e (8x57) mfg. by Mauser (code S/42G) in 1935.  This gorgeous carbine appears at first to be all matching, but the bolt (and most bolt parts) have been stamped 136 to match.  Excellent-PLUS condition, with 100% reblued finish. Receiver has Weimar markings with early WaffenAmpts. Solid walnut stock and handguard has been nicely refinished and has very attractive striped figure. Not import-marked. GERMAN  Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 6121b (8x57) mfg. by Mauser (code 42) in 1939.  A mismatched carbine in Very Good or better condition with intact Nazi markings and a fair bore with strong rifling. Receiver has eagle/swastika markings with three eagle/swastika WaffenAmpts on right side. Laminated stock and handguard has some bumps and bruises from actual use but is sound. GERMAN  Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 9555j (8x57) mfg. by Steyr-Daimloer-Puch (code bnz) in 1941.  A mismatched carbine in Near Excellent condition with intact Nazi markings and a dark but strong bore.  Has stamped rear band, all other parts milled.  Has replacement Israeli beech stock and handguard with minor dings from actual use.    PHOTO . . . $950.   C&R     

GERMAN  Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 24553i (8x57) mfg. by Mauser (code 42) in 1943.  A carbine in Very Good or so condition with obliterated Nazi markings (Romanian capture) and a bright and strong bore.  All parts stamped 4553 except bolt and magazine floorplate. Laminated stock and handguard has some bumps and bruises from actual use but is sound. Has stamped front band.   PHOTO . . . $750.   C&R     

GERMAN Model 98/40 Huzagol bolt-action Mannlicher rifle # 2366m (8x57mm) mfg. by Femaru Fegever (FÉG, nazi code jhv) in 1944. An unusual milsurp rifle with Mauser-style magazine and Mannlicher-style rotating bolt (the bottom of the bolt-knob flattened and checkered).  Definitely a "bringback" in Excellent condition with 95% bluing intact. Bolt not matching, but every other numbered part is. Has been niceely fitted with a sporter walnut stock (its original military stock was likely duffle-cut).  Bore is mirror-bright and very strong. All Nazi eagle / swastika markings very bold.  Includes modified 98k front sight hood.   Not import-marked, very scarce. PHOTOS . . . $650.    C&R    

ISRAELI Model 98k bolt-action rifle # 603520 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by Fabrique National in 1954.  Near Excellent condition, with most bluing on metal surfaces, small parts turning brown with age. Bolt is mismatched (but all parts numbered 8155), all milled parts.  Bore is very bright and strong. Israeli IDF crest above chamber. Beech 7.62-marked buttstock has been sanded and refinished. No cleaning-rod (stock was not ever routed out to accept one).   PHOTOS . . . $925.    C&R     SOLD

SOVIET Model 91/30 PU SNIPER Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # RI557 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Tula in 1944. Excellent refurbished condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). All serialized parts renumbered 557  (matching), has bent bolt handle, C H (=sniper) on top of receiver.  Undated refurbished PU scope numbered 107254, same number inscribed on left side of upper mount.  Stock and handguard has the inevitable scuffs in the shellac finish from use and storage, several subtle repairs and one medium sized sliver of wood missing from behind mount.  Otherwise in nice shape.  SOVIET Model SKS-45 Simonov semiautomatic rifle # TR1107 (7.62x39) mfg. by Tula  in 1950.  Excellent refurbished example with 100% blue and a gorgeous mirror-bright bore.  All matching serial numbers, bolt-carrier and blade-bayonet bright. SWEDISH Model 96 bolt-action Mauser infantry rifle # 513237 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1925.  Excellent condition, with 95% or better bluing throughout. Model 1888 Trapdoor Springfield rod bayonet rifle # 557041 (.45-70) mfg. by Springfield Arsenal in 1892.  Near Excellent condition, with nearly all original bluing remaining.  Bore is extremely bright and very strong.  Sound walnut stock has original finish with bold 1896 dated cartouche on left side.  Has new reproduction tan leather sling.   Quite attractive and completely functional.  Not import-marked.   PHOTOS . . . $1250.*     Antique, no FFL required     

U.S.A. Model 1898 Krag-Jorgensen bolt-action rifle # 297299 (.30-40 Krag) mfg. by Springfield Armory in December 1900. A Very Good example with 75% or better bluing and a very bright bore. Stock has most original finish with faint but clear JSA 1902 cartouche on left side, some initials carved on left side by bored soldiers.  Includes new repro Model 1905 leather sling. U.S.A. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 376600 (.30-06) mfg. by Rock Island Arsenal in 1920 with heat-treated receiver. Excellent condition rework with 95% gray Parkerizing on all metal. A gorgeous example with near-perfect 10-42 dated HS (High Standard) 4-groove bore (1.0 ME) and walnut stock and handguard in quite decent condition. U.S.A. Model of 1917 bolt-action infantry rifle # 584846 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in August, 1918. Excellent condition with 95% blued (NOT Parkerized) finish on metal and a gorgeous mirror-bright bore (1.0 ME), barrel stamped R (Remington) 8 -18.  Stock has been lightly sanded and is beautiful.   Not import-marked, rare with original blued finish, as most were Parkerized between the Wars. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 2289754 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in December, 1943 with SA 9-42 barrel. Excellent condition with full Parkerized finish remaining on all metal and having an very decent and shiny bore (TE = 3.0, ME = 3.0). Has updated parts (W.R.A. hammer) and a beautiful newly-made birch buttstock and front handguard with battered walnut rear handguard. Not import-marked, extremely attractive. U.S.A. Model M1 Carbine semiautomatic rifle # 1578554 (.30 Carbine) mfg. by Standard Products in Late 1943 with a 4-43 dated Rock-Ola barrel. Excellent condition, metal has mostly full Parkerized finish with a mirror bright bore and with 1.0 muzzle-wear. This features flat-topped bolt, lever safety, late windage-adjustable rear sight and late front band with bayonet-lug. Includes two 15-round magazines (only where legal) in pouch with correct web sling and oiler. Beautifully figured wood stock and handguard has only a few dings and handling marks. Not import-marked. VENEZUELAN Model FN-49 Saive semiautomatic rifle # 3862 (7x57) mfg. by Fabrique National in c.1954. Excellent condition, with 95% or better original painted finish (stoving) and very bright and strong bore. All-matching numbers, Venezuelan crest on receiver is bold, with slotted muzzle-break. Walnut stock has some very minor scuffs from contact with adjacent rifles. Includes leather HUNTER brand Kerr-type military sling in excellent condition.
