MILITARY HANDGUNS

    CHINESE Type 54 Tokarev semiautomatic pistol # 14089628 (7.62x25), mfg. by Factory 66 in 1967. Near Excellent condition, with most bluing and some verdigris from humidity on surfaces. Bore is mirror-bright and very strong. All matching serial numbers (except magazine). Grips are intact with star motif. Not import-marked, most likely a Vietnam War bringback.     GERMAN Model P-08 Luger semiautomatic pistol # 3947a (9mm) mfg. by DWM in 1920. Excellent condition, very little wear at sharp corners and holster wear by muzzle and front of grip. All matching serial numbers, including original wood-bottom magazine, additional aluminum base magazine by Mauser stamped 3947c. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright, completely functional. Includes worn black leather holster dated 1940, loading tool in pocket, Neuman penciled on inside of flap.  All markings very clear, checkered walnut grips are extremely crisp without usual chip in left grip.     GERMAN Model PPK Walther semiautomatic pistol # 354770K (.32 ACP) mfg. at Walther in c.1940. Good  condition, retains 40% bluing with mottled finish to metal (from exposure to the elements) but has a strong, mostly bright bore, some light verdigris from age and environment at sides. Completely functional. Original black plastic grips not cracked or broken, one magazine. Includes brown leather full-flap holster made by Robert Larsen and dated 1940 with faint Nazi eagle. Not import-marked, comes with typical "brought back from WWII by my grandfather" story that is likely true. PHOTOS . . . $950.    C&R

    GERMAN Model P-38 Walther semiautomatic pistol  # 7881k (9mm Parabellum) mfg. at Walther (Nazi code ac 42) in December 1942. Very Good condition, around 70% original bluing with holster-wear at corners and edges, has a very strong and mirror bright bore.     GERMAN Model P-38 Walther semiautomatic pistol rig # 6391h (9mm Parabellum) mfg. at Mauser (Nazi code byf 43) in July-August 1943. Excellent condition, around 90% original bluing with slight holster-wear at corners and edges, has a very strong and mostly bright bore. All-matching numbers, strong markings, includes one unmarked eight-round magazine and black-leather full-flap holster stamped dvr 43 with bold Nazi eagle.  Not import-marked.     ROMANIAN Model 1934 semiautomatic pistol # 08511 (.380 ACP) mfg. by Beretta in 1941.  Very Good condition with 80% original bluing on frame, much holster wear on slide (which has a "plum" hue).  All-matching serial numbers. Identified as a Romanian-contract by use of the word SCURT instead of CORTO on left side of slide. Bore is very strong but not very bright.     SOVIET Model TT-33 Tokarev semiautomatic pistol # LA1825 (7.62x25 Tokarev)  mfg. at Izhevsk in 1942.  Fair to Good functional condition, condition with all-matching visible serial numbers (except magazine). No grips, metal has little original bluing and some light pitting and browning from moisture, bore is dark and worn.  Not import-marked, no added safety, likely a Vietnam War bringback, totally functional.     SOVIET Model TT-33 Tokarev semiautomatic pistol # OA2793 (7.62x25 Tokarev)  mfg. at Izhevsk in 1944.  Good functional condition, condition with all-matching visible serial numbers (except magazine). Entire pistol (and magazine-floorplate) as been BUMPER-CHROMED (a very popular anti-rust treatment). Bore is shiny, has original grips.  Likely appeared like the pistol above before chrome-treatment, a very popular thing to do to pistols in Vietnam.     SPANISH Model 600 Astra semiautomatic pistol # 3755 (9x19 Luger) mfg. by Unceta y Compaņia, S.A. in Guernica (Spain) in 1944 (from a Nazi contract delivered on June 23, 1944). Excellent overall condition, with sharp markings and 95% original bluing (wear only at sharp edges of slide and front of grip). Finely-checkered walnut grips, has Nazi eagle over WaAD20 on left side of the frame. Excellent mirror-bright bore, all-matching numbers with two magazines and black leather full-flap military holster in Excellent condition. Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $975.     C&R  

    SWEDISH Model 40 Lahti semiautomatic pistol # 69192 (9mm Parabellum), mfg. by Husqvarna circa 1948. Excellent condition, with all-matching numbers, perfect mirror bore, and 99% original bluing. Danish police markings Rplt. S 5196 on right side. Brown bakelite grips incorporating the Husqvarna logo.     U.S.A. Model 1911 A1 semiautomatic pistol # 1833482 (.45 A.C.P.) manufactured by Ithaca Gun Company in 1944 (one of 30,000 produced). Excellent condition with 90% or better original gray Parkerized finish and a near-perfect bore. All-original (NOT a rebuild) and scarce thus.     AUSTRIAN Model 1890 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action Extra-Korps-Gewehr carbine 9506o (8x50R) mfg. by Steyr in 1894, with Vienna acceptance into service in 1901.  Good to Very Good condition, original blued finish worn and turning brown from age but completely functional with a very smooth action.  Bore is very strong and bright, no other parts numbered. Stock is very pretty with very few minor handling marks, hole in but has sliding steel cover for cleaning equipment, and front band has side-mounted bayonet lug.  Not import-marked, in its original caliber.     AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action long rifle 5091V (8x50R) mfg. by Steyr (undated). Very Good condition, original blued finish fading from use.  Bore is very strong and bright, bolt-knob numbered 1187.     AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action carbine 2097B (8x50R) mfg. by Budapest in 1910. Very Good condition, original blued finish beginning to turn brown from age.  Bore is very strong and bright, bolt not numbered.     CANADIAN Enfield No.4 Mk.I* bolt-action rifle # 45L9530 (.303 British) mfg. by Long Branch arsenal in 1943. Excellent condition, with full original finish on all metal parts and an excellent mirror-bright bore with a 2-groove barrel, counterbored at muzzle for increased accuracy. Bolt is matching with 1-marked bolt head. Stock is nearly mar-free, rear sight is the stamped ladder variety, includes olive web sling in Excellent condition.  PHOTO . . . $625.    C&R    SOLD

    SWEDISH Model 94 bolt-action Mauser carbine # 48134 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1907.   Near Excellent condition, about 90% or better external bluing with near-perfect mirror-bore.  All-matching serial numbers including barrel-bands, early type without bayonet lug. Nice walnut buttstock and handguard with a few handling-marks. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 1096144 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in January, 1943 with a SA 7-43 wartime barrel.  Excellent condition with full Parkerized finish, bore is bright (TE = 2.0, MW = 0.75) with very strong rifling, pad not chromed. Stock has clear RIA / EB cartouche on left side.  Stock is solid and sound with a wide but shallow scrape on left side from cocking handle of adjacent rifle.     U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 1413934 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in March, 1943 with a SA 6-44 wartime barrel.  Excellent condition with full Parkerized finish, a post WWII rebuild with all upgraded parts (including some IHC parts, op-rod is a Remington National Match rod).  Bore is bright (TE = 1.0, MW = 1.0) with very strong rifling. Stock has "ghost" of a RIA/EB cartouche that is discernable in strong light. Scratch from bolt handle of another rifle on the right side, but is otherwise sound and substantial.     U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 3113723 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in August, 1944 with a SA 6-46 barrel.  Excellent condition with full Parkerized finish, bore is bright (TE = 3.75, MW = 2.0) with very strong rifling, pad not chromed, chamber is bright. A early postwar Rock Island rebuild with all wartime parts (including WRA bolt). Stock has arsenal wood inserts in trigger guard area to tighten fit - typical of Rock Island workmanship.  Some dings and handling marks on wood.
