BRITISH Lee Metford Mark II bolt-action rifle # 12771 (.303 British) mfg. by Sparkbrook in 1893. Very Good or better condition with around 60% external bluing and a dark bore (is shootable, and will likely clean up to be even better after some rounds are put through it). All parts stamped-numbered to match, has New Zealand proofs on left side of chamber and top of brass buttplate. Has sliding dust-cover, both volley sights on left side intact, handguard missing. BRITISH Mark V Enfield bolt-action rifle # A5455 (.303 British) mfg. by Enfield in 1924. Excellent condition, with over 90% military finish, all-matching numbers with a gorgeous mirror 4-groove bore. Includes large square receiver aperture sight and magazine-cutoff. Lovely walnut stock has been sanded with an oil finish and leather sling. PORTUGUESE Model 904/39 Mauser-Verguiero bolt-action short rifle # J2737 (8x57) mfg. by DWM in 1904. Near Excellent condition with all-matching numbers and bold royal crest above chamber. Original (browning) finish with a nice mirror-bright bore, includes cleaning-rod and hinged muzzle-cap. Walnut stock has original finish with small chip at toe of buttplate. Originally chambered in the obsolete 6.5x58 Verguiero cartridge, these rifles were rechambered to 8x57 in Germany just before WWII and have one of the smoothest actions of any military rifle. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 95% original bluing on all parts with vivid fire-bluing on springs. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore, with the usual muzzle-extension. SWEDISH Model 94/14 Mauser bolt-action carbine # 109456 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1918 with bent-bolt. Excellent condition, with 95% original bluing on all parts (vivid fire-bluing on barrel-bands, triggerguard and magazine-floorplate a bit worn from carry). Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore, without the usual muzzle-extension. All matching numbers except rear band (which has only a crooked-crown without a serial number). SWEDISH Model 96 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 254139 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1909 with straight-bolt and unthreaded muzzle. Near Excellent condition, with 80% original bluing on all large parts (barrel-bands, magazine floorplate and triggerguard a bit faded from carry). Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.51/1). All-matching numbers except cleaning rod (507). SWEDISH Model 41 SNIPER rifle # 333811 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1915. This is not one of the more common 41B snipers, the difference being (a) the bolt is in the white like a regular 96 rifle, but with a bent handle, (b) rear-sight is of the 96 type, (c) the stock-disc is of the two-screw unit-type, and (d) used an AGA m/42 3x65 scope in a Jackenroll upper and lower mount that were numbered but did not ever match the rifle's serial # (see Kehaya & Poyer, The Swedish Mauser Rifle, pages 173-175). Excellent condition, with 90% or better bluing and a near-perfect mirror-bore. All-matching numbers except bolt shroud (962), cleaning-rod not numbered. Stock-disk reads KIK / I16 / No.1073. Stock and handguard are of walnut with faint tigerstripe figure only a few contact-marks from adjacent rifles. 1942-dated AGA 3x65 scope has a three-post reticule and quite decent optics. SWEDISH Model 41 SNIPER rifle # 323156 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1913. Excellent-PLUS, nearly mint condition, with 98% or better bluing and a near-perfect mirror-bore. All-matching numbers except cleaning-rod (as usual), has wheeled rear-sight insert and front sight hood. Stock-disk is plain white metal. Beech stock and handguard looks new, with virtually no handling-marks. 1944-dated AGA 3x65 scope has a three-post reticule and slightly foggy optics. URUGUAY Model 1871 Mauser bolt-action single-shot infantry rifle # 4192 (6.5x53.5SR Deaudetau) mfg. by Mauser in 1883 as a 11mm single shot long rifle and converted at St. Denis to the Deaudetau caliber (also known as the DOVITIIS conversion). Near Excellent condition, with some mottling of metal (originally "in the white") from age. Bolt (and all bolt parts) numbered 4192 (matching receiver and barrel), small screws have various numbers. Bore is absolutely gorgeous, mirror-bright all the way to muzzle with strong rifling. Wood is walnut with its original finish (cartouches clear) having only a few minor handling-marks, cleaning-rod in channel on left side of stock. PHOTOS . . . $825. Antique, no FFL required
YUGOSLAVIAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # V1875 (8mm) mfg. by Nazi's during WWII, Excellent condition, all Nazi markings removed by the commie Slavs and renumbered to match. Has a sharp, mirror bore. Bold Tito-era Yugoslavian crest above chamber. All-matching numbers, with stamped front band, else all milled small parts.
