BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.1* Enfield bolt-action rifle # 60C2982 (.303 British) mfg. by Savage-Stevens in 1943. Excellent condition, with nearly full military Parkerizing on metal. Has an excellent mirror-bright 2-groove bore, bolt not matching (but is close and correct) with 0-marked bolt-head, all parts marked with square-S (for Savage). US PROPERTY marked on receiver. BRITISH Enfield No.4 Mk.1*/3 bolt-action rifle # 84L2592 (.303 British) mfg. by Long Branch in 1944, with a Factory Thorough Repair (FTR) at Fazakerly in 1952. Near Excellent condition, with 90% or better original finish (enamel worn and chipping at corners and edges) with all-matching numbers. CHINESE Model "Chaing Kai-shek" Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 67592 (8x57) mfg. by Arsenal 41 (Kwangtung) (undated, but mid-1930's). Very Good condition, bold Arsenal 41 logo above chamber. No matching numbered parts, bore is very dark and pitted. Stock is vivid fiddleback walnut with some handling marks from use, Chinese characters (Nan Guo, possibly a family name or the name of a town in China) painted on right side. Includes cleaning rod. CHINESE Model "Zhongzheng" Mauser bolt-action short rifle # K9017 (8x57) mfg. by Kung Hsien (Kunming), dated February, 1945. Very Good condition, bold markings above chamber. No matching numbered parts, bore is very dark and pitted, sleeve holding front sight has been crudely braised on barrel. Stock is walnut with some handling marks from use, Chinese characters (Dong Liu Fang, aka house number six in the East) carved on right side, missing front sloing-swivel. Missing cleaning rod. CHINESE Type 53 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # 3170398 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Factory 26 in 1955. Very Good condition with 80% bluing on all metal parts, bore is quite dark. CZECH Model vz24 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 5397Z4 (8x57mm) mfg. by CZ in c.1938. Good or better original condition, with zero bluing (looks to have been intentionally removed). no matching serial numbers. Top of chamber has very bold two-tailed rampant Czech lion. GERMAN Model Gewehr 98 bolt-action infantry rifle # 2294o (8x57mm) mfg. by Amberg in 1917. Good condition, metal has a gray coloration and little remaining bluing. No matching serial numbers, no overt Turkish markings with a very strong and somewhat bright bore. Has updated ladder rear sight (stamped S/42G), includes cleaning rod, rear sling-swivel is of the fixed type. GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 3198f (8x57) mfg. by Steyr-Daimler-Puch (code 660) in 1940. Very Good condition, around 70% thinning bluing remaining and a dark rough bore. GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 7017ad (8x57) mfg. by Brno (code dot 1944) in 1944. A mostly-matching 98k in Excellent-PLUS condition with full bluing and clear (if tiny) Nazi markings. Stock is laminate with a cupped buttplate, bolt and stamped magazine floorplate are numbered 7017ad and 7017 respectively (matching) , rear barrel-band and handguard not matching, front solid band not numbered. GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 9848ag (8x57) mfg. by Brno (code dot 1944) in 1944. Good condition, virtually zero remaining bluing on external metal and a fair not very bright bore. No matching numbers, Nazi eagle /swastikas aggressively punched-out. Stock is laminate with a cupped buttplate is quite battered with two hairline cracks at bottom of wrist. GREEK Model 1930 Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # B7953 (8x57) mfg. by Fabrique National in 1930. Very Good condition, with somewhat mottled external metal and clear Greek crest atop chamber. IRAQI Model 48BO Mauser bolt-action rifle # V47689 (8mm) mfg. by Zastava in c.1952 with no Yugoslav markings. An externally Good or better with very sharp Iraqi property-marking (Islamic character in triangle) atop chamber and very little remaining original blue. All matching erial numbers on numbered parts with a mirror-bright and very sharp bore. Rough solid wood buttstock, ding on handguard. Missing cleaning-rod but has front sight-hood. PHOTOS . . . $475. PORTUGUESE Model 904/39 Mauser-Verguiero bolt-action short rifle # H6971 (8x57) mfg. by DWM in 1904. Very Good condition with mismatched parts, very bold royal crest of King Carlos I above chamber and on right side of stock. Painted black enamel finish is chipping in places, has a mostly bright bore and includes cleaning-rod. Stock has a few handling marked but is sound. Originally chambered in the obsolete 6.5x58 Verguiero cartridge, these rifles were rechambered to 8x57 in Germany just before WWII and have one of the smoothest actions of any military rifle. SOVIET Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # XL748 (7.62x54R), barrel mfg. by Izhevsk in 1943 with SNIPER bolt handle. Excellent-PLUS arsenal-refurbished condition with 100% bluing and a very strong and bright bore. All numbered parts stamped 748 (without prefixes). SOVIET Model 91/30 PU SNIPER Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # HM436 (7.62x54R), barrel mfg. by Izhevsk in 1944. Very Good original condition with much of the external bluing turning brown from oxidation. Batching numbered bolt, magazine-floorplate and buttplate mismatched. Bore a bit dark and rough (need aggressive cleaning). Undated PU scope (with somewhat clear optics) numbered No.Ƃ-125544, same # stamped on left side of barrel-shank. Stock has many handling-marks and a crack on left side behind scope-mount. Definitely NOT a reproduction, and most likely a bring back from the Vietnam conflict. NOT import marked. SOVIET Model 44 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # RA5391 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1944. Excellent condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore (has NOT been counterbored at muzzle). Not a rework, all numbered parts stamped matching (with prefix letters). SWEDISH Model 38 Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # 614797 (6.5x55), mfg. by Husqvarna in 1941 with bent-bolt and non-threaded muzzle. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 98% original bluing on all parts. Has a mirror-bright very strong bore (bore-disk indicating 6.51/1). Rear sight has 100 meter zero. All-matching stamped numbers except cleaning rod (crooked crowns on magazine floorplate and barrel-bands). Beech stock & handguard has its original finish, with very few handling-marks. SYRIAN Model 48 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # V6301 (8x57) mfg. at Zastava in 1948. Excellent condition, with 90% or better bluing with gorgeous Syrian crest above chamber. All-matching numbers, bore is strong and mirror-bright. Stock and handguard is a bit rouph with a few scuffs and scrapes, includes cleaning-rod and front sight-hood., with Yugo-type leather sling. U.S.A. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 3072897 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in March 1942 with original RA 3-42 dated barrel. Excellent condition with most Parkerizing intact. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 3615843 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in March, 1945 with a SA 3-45 original barrel. Near Excellent condition with full gray Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, bore is mirror bright (TE = 2.75, MW = 0.75) with very strong rifling. ALL CORRECT in every aspect, with uncut op-rod and lock-bar rear sight. Bold SA / NFR cartouched Walnut stock and handguard has a some handling marks from actual use and storage. Not import-marked. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 2574740 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in January, 1944 with original SA 12-43 barrel.
