BRITISH Model 1906 semiautomatic pistol # 75933 (.32 ACP), mfg. by Webley& Scott in c.1925.  Very Good condition with about 80% bluing intact, slide pitted on both sides from being "holstered wet". Bore quite bright and strong.  Includes 6-round magazine, checkered black-plastic grips (thin crack in right grip). Not import-marked, scarce. PHOTO . . . $525.   C&R   

BRITISH Model Mark VI Webley break-open revolver #N742 (back of cylinder shaved for .45 ACP using half-moon clips), a commercial pistol  mfg. by Webley & Sons in c.1918. Near Excellent condition, with 85% remaining bluing, bore is very strong and bright. Arsenal renumbered N742 (was apparently numbered 446496 when in civilian use).  Totally functional and action tight when trigger is pulled. Not import-marked. PHOTOS . .  . $595.   C&R    SOLD

GERMAN Model C96 Broomhandle "Red Nine" Mauser semiautomatic pistol # 743503 (9mm) mfg. by Mauser in c.1930.  A restoration in Excellent-PLUS condition with 100% bluing and new "red-9" walnut grips. Bore has visible rifling and is quite bright, completely functional.  Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $1250.   C&R    SOLD

GERMAN Langenhan 7.65 semiautomatic pistol # 21176 (.32 ACP) mfg. by Friedrich Langenham Waffen-und Fahrradfabriken, Zella Mehlis in 1915  with rare German WWI acceptance-proof (crown over Gothic letter) on left side of frame. This was a secondary German military pistol of which 86,000 were produced during WWI. Excellent condition, with 95% original bluing with few signs of wear. FL-logo horn grips quite nice. Bore is very strong and bright with strong rifling. JAPANESE  Type 14 semiautomatic pistol, Series 2 # 26896 (8mm Nambu) mfg. at Nagoya in March, 1944.  Excellent condition with 90% or better original bluing. All matching numbers INCLUDING magazine. Bore is mirror-perfect, markings are very sharp, and grooved wooden grips are not chipped. Not import-marked.  PHOTOS . . . $750.   C&R

BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.2 Enfield bolt-action rifle # PF314254 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in February, November 1953 (Irish Contract). Near Excellent condition, some wear from actual service use. Perfect mirror-bore, decent mildly-distressed metal and wood (some contact marks on the wood and a crude repair to top of stock near buttplate). All-matching numbers, includes WWII era web-sling (marked HUGH CARSON CO. LTD.) in VG condition and matching-numbered No.9 blade bayonet with scabbard and web frog. PHOTOS . . . $475.   C&R   SOLD

CANADIAN Enfield No.4 Mk.I* bolt-action rifle # 65L6566 (.303 British) mfg. by Long Branch arsenal in 1944. Very Good, much original finish on all metal parts with an excellent mirror-bright bore with a 4-groove barrel. Bolt is matching with 0-marked bolt head. Stocks has a few dings, scratches and handling-marks having been utilized for their intended purpose, Ishapore screw through forend. Rear sight is milled ladder type. EGYPTIAN "Hakim" semiautomatic rifle # 8195 (8x57) mfg. by Maadi in 1957 . Excellent condition, over 90% original bluing with a mirror-bright very strong bore. Beech stock was nicely refinished a couple decades ago (by Kurt Ellison) and has only a few no handling-marks since. Includes removable 10-round magazine. PHOTOS . . . $750.    C&R    SOLD

FRENCH Modéle 1936 MAS bolt-action rifle # K76960 (7.5x54) mfg. by St. Éttienne in 1945 and refurbished  in 1975.  Excellent PLUS arsenal refurbished condition with all later features. Bolt matches receiver, no other parts are serial numbered. Has a like-new mirror bright bore and basically no marks on stock. FRENCH Model 1949-56 MAS semiautomatic rifle # G73271 (7.5x54) manufactured at St. Etienne in c.1965. Excellent-PLUS condition, with all Parkerizing intact and virtually no signs of wear, receiver has 1967 and 1991 dated refurbishment stamps. Has great mirror-bright bore. Includes full compliment of accessories (four ten-round magazines, rubber buttpad,  night sights and more packaged accessories. Literally as nice as these come. HUNGARIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action carbine # 2487E (8x56R) mfg. by F.E.G. in 1918.  A rearsenaled carbine in Excellent condition with 98% or better bluing and a bolt that is electro-penciled to match barrel. BUDAPEST atop of chamber, bore is mostly bright and strong. walnut stock has really6 attractive flame figure in the grain and has been renumbered 2487 on right side to match rest of rifle. INDIAN No.1 Mk.3* bolt-action rifle # 73548J (.303 British) mfg. by Ishapore Rifle Factory in 1948.  Excellent condition with mirror bright and strong bore. Only the rear sight is matching, the bolt is unnumbered and looks to be chrome or nickel-plated (attractive, but odd). Very bold markings and only a few of the expected handling-marks and compressions on wood. Includes GRI-marked blade bayonet and scabbard (not pictured) and correct postwar web sling.  PHOTOS . . . $495.    C&R    SOLD

INDIAN Model SMLE .410 musket # U11 Originally a No.1 Mk.III* rifle mfg. by Enfield in 1918 and converted to single-shot 2 1/2" chamber .410 shotgun by Rifle Factory Ishapore in 1947 and apparently untouched since. Excellent-plus, with near-perfect bluing, all numbered parts stamped U11 and only a couple of dings in stock with bold cartouche. Bore is absolutely prefect and simply dazzling. JAPANESE Model 38 Arisaka bolt-action carbine # 191924 (6.5x50) mfg. by Koishikawa (Tokyo) in c. 1920. Very Good condition, with little remaining bluing on exposed metal surfaces but has a really strong, bright bore.  All-matching numbers, intact MUM with cleaning-rod. Buttstock was sanded  long ago and has some losses at bottom near buttplate. Includes reproduction leather sling Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . . $425.  C&R 

JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle, Series 32 # 89763 (7.7x58) mfg. by Toyo Kogyo (Hiroshima) arsenal c.1943.  97% condition with great mirror-bore, X cut across mum.  All-matching numbers except bolt (however all bolt-parts match each other, #180), anti-aircraft  rear-sight intact, no provision for monopod, round push-button cleaning-rod retainer and two-screw front barrel-band, 4 7/8" cleaning-rod included. Wood was lightly sanded and refinished with tung-oil long ago. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 3150413 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in June 1942 with original  RA 6-42 dated barrel and all R marked parts.  Excellent condition with nearly all remaining metal finish remaining. Model 03-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 4772367 (.30-06) mfg. by Smith Corona in September 1943 with original  SC 5-43 dated barrel and all SC parts.  Excellent condition with nearly all remaining metal finish remaining. Has a mostly bright and strong bore (TE = 2.5, MW = 2.0). Walnut stock has only a few handling marks and dings, OG (Ogden arsenal) stamped on left side. Not import-marked. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 48A Mauser bolt-action rifle # P80475 (8mm) mfg. by Zastava in c.1952. Excellent-PLUS condition, a large-ring intermediate-length Mauser with 99% or better original bluing on the metal surfaces and a sharp mirror-bore. Sharp Tito-era Yugoslavian crest above chamber. All-matching numbers, with stamped and welded front band and stamped triggerguard and magazine-floorplate, knob of bolt has flattened bottom.
