AUSTRALIAN No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # E31379 (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal in 1942. Near Excellent condition with most oil-blacked finish. All matching serial numbers, bore is quite bright and very strong, Department of Defense markings at top of receiver. AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action carbine # 6744X (8x50R) mfg. by Steyr in 1919. An original carbine in its original 8x50R caliber in Good or better condition with metal a uniform gray color. Bore is mostly bright and very strong. BRITISH Enfield No.4 Mk.1/2 bolt-action rifle # AT12019 (.303 British) mfg. by Maltby in 1943 and converted to the Mk.1/2 configuration at Fazakerly in 1952. Excellent condition, serial numbers of bolt, stock and magazine matches receiver, 4-groove bore extremely strong and mirror-bright. Rear sight is of the milled ladder type. Beech stock and handguards have some superficial handling-marks but otherwise shows no signs of wear. Includes 1905-type leather sling. PHOTOS . . . $675. C&R SOLD
CANADIAN Model 1905 bolt-action straight-pull infantry rifle # 19198 (.303 British) mfg. by Ross Rifle Co. in 1910 with U.S. property-marks behind triggerguard. Near Excellent or better condition with full bluing on receiver and most remaining metal parts with a mirror-bright bore with extremely strong rifling. Bolt still has some fading case-colors, rifle remains in its original military configuration (most remaining have been sporeterized). Wood has not been sanded and unit cartouches on the right side still clear. U.S. marked on bottom of stock behind triggerguard with ordnance bomb and 19198 U.S. serial number. FINN Model 91 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action infantry rifle # 657909 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by New England Westinghouse in 1915 with [SA] Finn property mark on left side of barrel-shank. Near Excellent condition with most bluing on all metal parts and a very bright bore (has NOT been counterbored at muzzle). No matching serial numbers. FINN Model 28 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 38960 (7.62x54R) undated barrel by Tikka. Near Excellent condition with 85% strong bluing. Bolt-body numbered 38960 matching barrel, but that is actually the Civil Guard number (the actual technical serial number of this rifle being 32142). FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 26390 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1941 by VKT on an 1895 dated Sestroryetsk receiver. Near Excellent condition with 90% fading bluing. Bolt-body numbered 26390 matching barrel, The bore is very bright and strong, has NOT been counterbored at muzzle. SOVIET Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # XB43195 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk with TRIPLE date 1942/45/51. Excellent-PLUS arsenal-refurbished condition with 99% or better bluing on all metal parts and a very bright and strong bore. SOVIET Model 44 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # TH5134 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1945 with triangle-1 marking. Excellent condition with 95% or so bluing on all metal parts and a mostly bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). All numbered parts electropenciled matching. Attractive laminated stock has some dings and scratches in shellac finish which, if the shellac was chemically removed, would be absolutely gorgeous! Includes cleaning rod and black web-sling. SWEDISH Model 38B Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 639613 (6.5x55) mfg. by Husqvarna in 1942 with bent bolt and threaded muzzle (with metal cap). Very Good condition with 70% or better original bluing. Includes cleaning-rod, bore is excellent and mirror-bright with a 6.50/1 stamped bore-disk. Wood is beech with some of the usual handling-marks (stock has NOT been sanded). Bolt is the only numbered part and is stamped 613 to match receiver. Has rear-sight has 100 meter zero. SWEDISH Model AG42B Ljungmann semiautomatic rifle # 5108 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1943. Excellent condition with 90% or better original bluing. Includes cleaning-rod, bore is excellent and mirror-bright with a 6.48/1 stamped bore-disk. Wood is beech with a few of the usual handling-marks. SWISS Model K-31 Schmidt-Rubin straight-pull rifle # 814309 (7.5x55 Swiss) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1944. Very good, with 90+% bluing and a perfect, mirror bore. All-matching stamped numbers including the magazine. Buttstock has some handling-marks but retains it's original finish. The trigger, as usual for these, is like glass. Includes sling and muzzle-cap (not shown). The red-tape on the forend attests to this rifle having been entered in an official Swiss "schutzenfest" or shooting-competition in the recent-past. U.S.A. Model 1898 Krag-Jorgenson bolt-action infantry rifle # 119729 (.30-40 Krag) mfg. by Springfield Armory in August 1898 with CORRECT BAYONET and scabbard. Near Excellent condition, with 90% bluing on metal with very sharp markings and a slightly rough (but mostly bright) very strong bore. Shotts very accurately despite that. Has early rear sight. U.S.A. Model of 1917 "Enfield" bolt-action rifle # 99073 (.30-06) mfg. by Eddystone in 1917 with unmarked replacement barrel. A WWII reworked example in Excellent condition with 95% or better Parkerized finish. Bore is strong but has some crud in the grooves. W-marked buttstock has very few handling-marks, with 3GM-3 in rectangle cartouche on left side. Top of bolt stamped 1164430. Tiny import-mark at bottom of barrel, a very attractive example. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 48A Mauser bolt-action rifle # P12939 (8mm) mfg. by Zastava in c.1952. Excellent-PLUS condition, a large-ring intermediate-length Mauser with 99% or better original bluing on the metal surfaces and a sharp mirror-bore. Sharp Tito-era Yugoslavian crest above chamber. All-matching numbers, with stamped and welded front band and stamped triggerguard and magazine-floorplate, knob of bolt has flattened bottom. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 1959/66 A1 SKS semiautomatic rifle # P-622995 (7.62x39) mfg. by Zastava in 1977. Excellent condition, with 99% bluing, very bright and strong bore and all-matching numbers with integral bayonet, non-ported grenade-launcher and night-sights. Wood is beech and has some dings in the finish (keeping us from grading this rifle as UNISSUED). Missing cleaning rod but includes raggedy sling. Quite attractive, functional. PHOTOS . . . $375. C&R
