GERMAN Model P-08 Luger semiautomatic pistol (.9mm) #8457 mfg. in 1941 by Mauser. All-matching numbers (including numbered FXO-code magazine) but hot-dip blued and reworked a bit by the Russians after WWII (the toggle, marked S/42 and numbered to match, is no doubt a replacement, but it would only be "caught" by someone intimately familiar with these pistols). Near excellent condition nice original dark walnut grips and a very frosty but shootable bore and smooth, tight functioning. . . $425.   C&R     SOLD

GERMAN Model P-38 semiautomatic pistol (9mm) #9812e mfg. in 1943 by Walther (ac-code).  Excellent-plus condition with some very minor abrasions on the right side of the slide, mirror-perfect bore. Has been hot-dip blued by the Russians but not refinished, all markings very clear and bold. Black bakelite grips, correct Wa359-marked magazine. WALTHER Model PP semiautomatic pistol (.32 ACP) mfg. after WWII in Ulm on the Danube. MANHURIN Model PP semiautomatic pistol (.32 ACP) #35470 mfg. in the early 1950's on license from Walther in France. All-matching numbers, excellent condition with some very minor holster-wear and contact-marks but perfect bore and extremely smooth functioning.  Plum-toned slide with speckled reddish-brown Manhurin bakelite grips and two Manhurin-marked magazines (one with finger-rest, one without). . . $275.   C&R   SOLD  

MANHURIN Model PP semiautomatic pistol (.32 ACP) #61312 mfg. in January, 1957 on license from Walther in France. All-matching numbers, excellent condition with some very minor holster-wear and contact-marks but perfect bore and extremely smooth functioning.  Black Manhurin-marked bakelite grips, includes two Walther finger-rest magazines, original box and test-target (dated 17 Jan 1957) and both the German-language Manhurin manual it came with as well as a trilingual Walther manual (in English, German & Spanish). . . $295.   C&R      SOLD

SWEDISH Model 1907 Browning semiautomatic pistol (.380 ACP) #72538 mfg. in late 1930's by Husqvarna. All-matching numbers, excellent condition with very slight holster-wear on slide, has an apparently perfect bore and extremely smooth functioning.  Rechambered from the original 9mm Browning Long caliber by Interarms when Imported in the early 1960's, includes three (3) magazines and original pebbled leather holster. CHINESE Model 20 Tokarev semiautomatic pistol (7.62x25) #NO19489 mfg. in the early 1960's. CHINESE Model 213A Tokarev semiautomatic pistol (9mm) #2003270 mfg. in the early 1990's. This is the short-lived HIGH-CAPACITY Tokarev pistol that was banned almost as soon as it started being imported and are very rarely seen. All-matching numbers, nearly as-new with perfect bore and very smooth functioning, two matching-numbered high-capacity magazines. . . $275.    not C&R

All-matching numbers, not a contract-gun, near excellent condition with some thinning of blue on slide but quite a few parts exhibiting original "straw" and bore is awesome. RUSSIAN Model 1895 Nagant revolver (7.62x38R Nagant) #15108 mfg. at Tula.. All-matching numbers, arsenal refinished with excellent bright bore and wooden grips. This one was mfg. before 1916, but the year has been buffed so that it is not visible. Also the "IMPERIAL" stamp in the legend has been crossed-through by the Bolsheviks (which I find very interesting). AUSTRALIAN Model SMLE No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle #E32268 (.303 British) mfg. at Lithgow. in 1943.  Excellent overall condition with mirror-perfect 5-groove bore (possible replacement barrel marked 11.50) and nearly full phosphate finish. All-correct, with a bunch of very clear cartouches on right side of buttstock. Wood has some minor handling-marks. . . $225.   C&R      SOLD

BRITISH Enfield No.4 (T) sniper bolt-action rifle #A1399 (.303 British) mfg. by BSA Shirley arsenal in 1942. and FTR'd several times since.  An all-correct No.4 (T) sniper with No.32 Mk.III scope number 21883 with exceptionally clear and bright optics. Overall Excellent condition, with full stoving and original matching-numbered stock (with added wooden cheek-piece), scope-number stamped on the top (and rifle serial # stamped on correct Holland & Holland manufactured scope-mount). Bore is exceptionally mirror-bright and strong (showing little if any actual use), 0-stamped bolt-head. Includes proper 1907-style leather sling, but lacks original crate (guy I bought it from threw it away due to lack of room). Not import-marked. BRITISH Model SMLE No.1 Mk.III bolt-action rifle #M11853 (.303 British) mfg. by B.S.A. in 1915.  Very Good overall condition with bright and strong 5-groove bore (replacement barrel dated 1928). Bluing is nearly complete, matching bolt and forestock. Features magazine cut-off and early windage-adjustable rear-sight.  Wood has usual handling-marks and bumps from use and storage, buttstock chipped at top where it enters the socket, wooden-plus in marking-disk hole, thin hairline crack in front handguard, not import-marked. . . $195.   C&R      SOLD

BRITISH Model SMLE No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle #J65583 (.303 British) mfg. by B.S.A. in 1918.  Very Good overall condition with mirror-bright and very strong 5-groove bore (replacement barrel dated 1933). Bluing is nearly complete, force-matched bolt with early round cocking-piece. BRITISH Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk.1 bolt-action rifle #0819 (.303 British) mfg. by B.S.A. in 1941.  Very Good overall condition with mirror-bright 5-groove bore. Bluing is nearly complete but turning plum in places and thinning on receiver, matching bolt and forestock. Features milled ladder rear-sight, 0-marked bolt-head and early round SMLE-style cocking-piece. Wood has usual handling-marks and bumps from use and storage, with grooved rear-handguard, considerable cosmoline to clean-up. BRITISH Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk.1 (FTR) bolt-action rifle #MA25633 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly and FTR'd in 1948.  Nearly  as-new with perfect mirror-bright 5-groove bore. Stoving is close to 100% with some minor chipping on forend cap, bolt has 1-marked bolt-head and oddly both bolt and magazine are numbered B112013. Features new-looking milled ladder rear-sight. Wood has almost none of the usual handling-marks, but there is plenty of cosmoline provided at no additional charge. As nice an Enfield as can be acquired these days, and no doubt a really fine shooter. . . $200.   C&R      SOLD

BRITISH Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk.1 bolt-action rifle #L28828A (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in 1943.  This rifle is a real "beater" and ugly as Hell but shoots real good. It has a 2-groove bore that is mirror-bright but counterbored 1" from the muzzle, and milled ladder rear-sight.  Markings are crude, bolt is not matching, stock is very beat-up (with arsenal repairs at toe and handguard) and not much blue remaining.  Priced accordingly, of course. . . $75.   C&R      SOLD

CHINESE Type 53 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine #4019093 (7.62x54R) mfg. at Factory 26 in Chung King in 1956. Excellent condition, with 100% bluing, no matching numbers but near-perfect mirror bore. Wood has been refinished and has very few handling-marks since. I'm pretty certain this was a Vietnam bringback as it is not import-marked and looks very much like others bringbacks I have seen. . . $150.   not C&R

EGYPTIAN  Hakim semiautomatic rifle #46967 (8x57) mfg. by Maadi  in 1966. Excellent-plus, with 99% bluing, all matching numbers and gorgeous mirror-bore. Wood is too perfect not to have been refinished at some time in the recent past.  Includes correct Hakim bayonet & scabbard.  Extremely attractive, likely the nicest one we have ever had. . . $450  . FINN Model 91 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle #37283 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Tikka in 1942. Excellent-plus condition with 100% original bluing and  near- perfect mirror-bore. Receiver is stamped AZF (which indicates Austrian capture of the original rifle this receiver was attached to). Matching bolt, no wire sling-swivels, stock has a few compressions but virtually no handling-marks. . . $200.   C&R      SOLD

FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle #69303 (7.62x54R), mfg.. by Tikka in 1944. Excellent-plus condition with 100% original bluing and  near-perfect mirror-bore. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle #302923 (7.62x54R), mfg. by SAKO in 1968.   Excellent-plus, near perfect condition with matching bolt, close to 100% bluing with perfect mirror-bore. Two-piece postwar birch stock. Some minor handling-marks and scuffs, but very attractive.  Mark in shape of the five Olympic rings made with mouth of shell-casing on right side gives room for all kinds of speculation.  Includes excellent-condition green-leather sling. . . $275.   C&R  

FRENCH Model 1886 R93 Lebel bolt-action rifle #FK88101 (8x50R Lebel) mfg. by Tulle in 1886-92 and reworked for combat-use during early stages of WWI.  Very Good condition with strong somewhat bright bore (barrel mfg. at Tulle in 1915). Metal has full bluing that is turning to plum in spots, all parts matching except for wood, mechanically completely functional with 8-shot tubular magazine and original leather sling. Wood has some heavy handling-marks, the buttstock has a repair at heel and some loss of wood on the right side where it joins receiver (and is susceptible to cracking). . . $350.   Antique, no FFL required        SOLD

FRENCH Model 1886 R35 Lebel bolt-action carbine #B30151 (8x50R Lebel) mfg. by Tulle in 1886-92 and reworked for combat use during early stages of WWII.  Excellent condition with perfect mirror-bore (barrel mfg. at Chatellerault in 1938). Metal has nearly full enamel finish, all parts matching, mechanically completely functional with 3-round tubular magazine (missing two action screws that go through the triggerguard and also missing the screw-in stacking-hook). Wood has some heavy dents and handling-marks, the buttstock has a small crack on the left side and some loss of wood on the right side where it joins receiver.  Rare. . . $350.   Antique, no FFL required   

GERMAN Model Gewher 98 Mauser bolt-action rifle #5996d (8x57) mfg. by Mauser in 1918.  Very Good condition with gorgeous mirror-bore, both receiver and bolt stamped with Turkish crescent-moon.  No matching numbers, CZ mfg. bolt (good headspace, though).  Arsenal-refinished (likely by the Turks) with 100% bluing, receiver in the white.  Has intact and functional Lange roller-coaster rear-sight and very nice-looking wood.. $250.   C&R    ON HOLD

GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle #735v (8x57) mfg. by Mauser in 1941.  A WWII non-import bringback in Excellent condition with gorgeous mirror-bore.  All-matching numbers except for bolt and all bolt parts (the bolts were often stored separately aboard ship on the way back to the U.S. for security reasons and passed out at random when disembarking) but headspace is fine. 100% full bluing, sharp Nazi markings on metal, cartouches on wood clear, locking-screws missing on bottom of triggerguard, really gorgeous laminated buttstock and handguard with very few marks.  A very lovely example that would be worth a grand plus easily if the bolt just matched.  . . $375.   C&R      SOLD

GERMAN Model K43 semiautomatic rifle #5380p (8x57) mfg. by Walther in 1944.  Excellent condition with gorgeous mirror-bore and 100% bluing. bolt-cover not matching, VG aye-code G43 magazine. Has front sight-hood and is fully-functional but lacks cleaning-rod and dust-cover. Previous owner also stupidly added a Whippet buttpad to stock, thin crack in laminated wood handguard. HUNGARIAN Model 1895 Steyr-Mannlicher straight-pull carbine #8511E (8x56R) mfg. by F.E.G. in 1917. Excellent condition with full bluing and a perfect mirror-bore with BUDAPEST on the receiver-ring. ITALIAN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano Cavalry bolt-action carbine #XU1150 (6.5x52) mfg. by F.N.A. Brescia in 1942. Near excellent with full bluing (thinning on triggerguard with some freckling elsewhere) and a perfect mirror-bore. PORTUGUESE Model 1886 Kropatchek bolt-action rifle #Z611 (8x56R Kropatchek) mfg. by Steyr in 1886.  Very Good condition with gorgeous mirror-perfect bore. Metal has full bluing that is turning to plum in spots, bolt not matching (as usual for these), mechanically completely functional with 8-shot tubular magazine and original leather sling. RUSSIAN Model SVT-40 Tokarev semiautomatic rifle #IE837 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Tula  in 1941.   A non-import Finn property-marked rifle with rails for scope on receiver.  Near Excellent, with around 90% thinning blue, bore very bright and strong.  Buttstock has some scrapes and abrasions in its thin-lacquered finish and a few bumps on the wood, but is quite decent for these. Has twelve-slotted muzzle-break, SA-marked mag and Type 38 safety and correct new Russian SVT web-sling with leather buckles on ends. . . $450.   C&R      SOLD

RUSSIAN Model SKS-45 Siminov semiautomatic rifle #GYOO1491 (7.62x39) mfg. by Tula  in 1951.   An arsenal-rework rifle with 100% blue (blade-bayonet and bolt-carrier hard-chromed), bore mirror-bright and nearly perfect.  Solid buttstock with numbers lined-out and stamped to match has a couple minor bumps but is otherwise as-new. RUSSIAN Model 44 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine with attached bayonet (7.62x54R) mfg. at Izhevsk in 1944 and 1945 (specify). Excellent condition, with 100% bluing, all-matching numbers (buttplate number may be lined-out and stamped to match) and near-perfect mirror bore. SWEDISH Model AG42B Ljungmann semiautomatic rifle #17682 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1943. Excellent, with 99% bluing (painted finish on action-cover chipped), all matching numbers and gorgeous mirror-bore (bore-disk stamped 6.49/1). SWEDISH Model 41B Mauser bolt-action SNIPER rifle #249552 (6.5x55) mfg. by CARL GUSTAF in 1909. Excellent-plus, with close to 100% bluing, only bolt and all bolt-parts matching receiver (as usual with these 41B snipers) as well as the scope-mount and metal scope-case.  Excellent bore with bore-disk stamped 6.52/2. Really lovely Walnut stock and handguard nearly devoid of the usual heavy scratches these rifles always have due to the sight-mounts of adjacent rifles in the crates where they were stored and transported.. . . $1425.   C&R

SWEDISH Model 96 Mauser bolt-action rifle #269346 (6.5x55) mfg. by CARL GUSTAF in 1910. Excellent-plus, with 100% bluing and all-matching numbers except rear-sight, front barrel-band and cleaning-rod, bolt and all bolt-parts have been arsenal-renumbered to match. Finn-property marked with SA in square on receiver. Excellent bore with bore-disk stamped 6.50/1. U.S.A. Model 03-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle #4040712 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in September, 1943. Excellent arsenal-rework straight from U.S. military arsenal with CMP documentation. Full phosphate finish on all parts but bolt and magazine-floorplate (which are blued).
