BELGIAN Model 1889 Mauser bolt-action carbine # H9964 (7.65x54) mfg. by Belgian Arms Factory in 1889. Near Excellent overall condition, with 90% original bluing. All-matching numbers including bolt (which very rarely match), bore is strong and mostly bright. Wood is quite nice figured walnut with only a few scuffs and handling-marks after having been lightly sanded in the distant past. Quite scarce this nice, and most were chewed up during the Great War. BRITISH No.1 Mk.III Enfield bolt-action rifle # N24 (.303 British) mfg. by Enfield in 1915. Excellent condition with full bluing and a mirror-bright bore. All-matching serial numbers except rear sight, was renumbered by arsenal on all other parts. Nice beech stock and handguard still retains its original; finish with virtually zero handling marks. BRITISH Enfield No.4 Mk.1 bolt-action rifle # BX10867 (.303 British) mfg. by Maltby in 1944. Good external condition, doubtless a great shooter with a mirror-bright bore. Functional, but ugly as sin. BRITISH Enfield No.4 Mk.2 bolt-action rifle # A19034 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in 1955. Unissued, in perfect condition (was a "mummy-wrapped" example from a decade ago that was unwrapped) and was fired only a few times with cast bullets with a perfect bore. BRITISH Model No.5 Mk.1 Enfield bolt-action "Jungle Carbine" # AA5837 (.303 British) mfg. at Fazakerly in May 1947. Excellent PLUS condition, with 99% black enamel finish. All matching numbers with a very strong and mirror-bright 5-groove bore and 1-marked bolt-head. Has a few very minor handling-marks on stock, else AS NEW and the equal (I just looked) of the example that I got for my 12th birthday in England over a half-Century ago (and it was new at the time, and still is). CHILEAN Model 1895 Mauser bolt-action saddle-ring carbine # C3990 (7x57) mfg. by Loewe in 1895 with bent bolt. Only Good but functional condition, with no remaining bluing on metal parts (but no pitting). Chilean crest above chamber is a bit weak but clear. All-matching numbers, bore is strong and somewhat bright. Sound walnut stock has original unsanded finish and considerable handling marks No cleaning rod.. Not import-marked, very cute. FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # YO4587 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1938 with Finn [SA] property mark on left side of barrel and 41 on right side. Excellent-PLUS condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a beautiful mirror-bore. 4587 on bolt-knob (matching). Stock has very few handling marks and is extremely attractive. FINN Model 28-76 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action TARGET rifle # 10531 (7.62x54R) with 1969 dated barrel, built on an 1896-dated Tula receiver. Excellent-PLUS condition with 98% or better external bluing. Bore is strong and mirror bright. Has aperture front and rear target sights. Birch target stock is quite attractive with a few very minor dings and a couple circular plugs. GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 1858h (8x57) mfg. by Mauser (code S/42G) in 1935. A Russian capture with no matching numbers in Excellent condition with 90% or better reblued metal. Bore is very strong and extremely bright. All-milled parts, now wears a repro cleaning rod (not shown in photo). Buttstock is laminated with cupped buttplate and and eagle cartouche on right side. GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 2188c (8x57) mfg. by Mauser Borsigwalde (code 243) in 1940. A Russian reworked rifle in Excellent condition, with 100% rebluing and intact very bold Nazi eagles on left side of receiver and barrel-shank. Has STRAIGHT BOLT and all-milled parts electro-penciled 2188 to match receiver, bore is strong and mirror-bright. MEXICAN Model 24 Mauser bolt-action cavalry carbine # 1646 (7x57) mfg. at Fabrique National in 1924. Very Good overall condition with bold Mexican National crest atop chamber. Receiver is "in the white" All matching numbers, bore is worn and mostly bright. Walnut stock and handguard was heavily sanded and refinished long ago and has no handling marks since. POLISH Model K98 Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # 56143 (8x57), mfg. by Radom in c.1930. A small-ring Mauser in the Kar 98 configuration with stacking-rod beneath barrel and a straight bolt. Very Good condition, with 70% or better bluing. Has strong and somewhat bright bore and all-matching numbers except for bolt. Markings above chamber scrubbed. SIAMESE Model 1903 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 39997 (8x52R Siamese), mfg. by Koishikawa Arsenal in 1903 with straight-bolt. SPANISH Model 1893 long rifle # M2347 (7x57mm) made by Loewe in 1896. Near Excellent condition, with 85% or better original blued finish and all matching numbers. Castile & Leon crest above chamber is very bold and attractive, bore is mirror-bright and very strong. Walnut stock has bold 1896-dated coat of arms cartouche on left side, and several initials lightly scratched in the wood (likely denoting ownership by the soldiers that captured it in the Spanish-American War over a hundred years ago).
