AUSTRALIAN No.1 Mk.III* SMLE bolt-action rifle # B73295 (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal in 1941. Near Excellent condition with only a bit of finish-wear on external metal. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright. All matching numbers. Stock has many dings and signs of use, with traces of yellow paint at front and clear Lithgow cartouches on right side of butt. BRITISH No.1 Mk.III* SMLE bolt-action rifle # M51415 (.303 British), a "dispersal" rifle mfg. by Birmingham Small Arms in 1941. Excellent condition with full oil-blacked finish on external metal. BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.1* Enfield bolt-action rifle # 65C8180 (.303 British), a lend-lease rifle mfg. by Savage-Stevens in 1943 with stacking-swivel. Good or better condition, with most military finish worn to white color. Mismatched bolt (is a Savage bolt, however), with mirror-bright 2-groove bore and 1-marked bolt-head. Rear sight is L-shaped peep, receiver has intact U.S. PROPERTY mark on left side of receiver. Missing rear band, buttstock has nice finish with a few scuffs and handling marks, small crack on top near buttplate. PHOTOS . . . $200. C&R SOLD
BRITISH Enfield No.4 Mk.I bolt-action rifle # T29834 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazerkerly in 1942. Excellent refurbished condition, with full oil-blacked finish. Bolt matches receiver with old-style round cocking-piece and a 3-marked bolt-head. 2-groove bore is very bright and strong, with Mark II stamped ladder rear-sight. Birch stock and handguards have a rough finish (look to have been power-washed) with transverse screw in stock and a few dings and handling-marks. PHOTOS . . . $275. C&R SOLD
CANADIAN Enfield No.4 Mk.I* bolt-action rifle # 12L4780 (.303 British) mfg. by Long Branch arsenal in 1942. Very Good condition, with mostly full painted finish, bolt not matching (but is a Long Branch bolt) with a 0-marked bolt-head. 2-groove bore is mostly bright and strong, L-shaped rear-sight. Beech stock and handguards are 1949-dated replacements in as-new condition with a few minor dings and handling-marks and is quite attractive. PHOTOS . . . $300. C&R SOLD
CZECH Model vz52 semiautomatic rifle # K65956 (7.62x45) mfg. by CZ in 1955. A Fair to Good example with zero original finish on metal but has a gorgeous, mirror-bore. Stock has some repaired cracks. GREEK Model 1930 Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # A8870 (8x57) mfg. by Fabrique National in 1930. A mismatched example in Very Good condition with clear Greek crest atop chamber. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 4 # 93412 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in c.1942. Very Good condition with faded original bluing, bolt and all bolt parts numbered 412, mum has been ground but is still visible. No hand guard, forend has been lengthened by inletting a 4: piece of stock from another rifle for some unknown reason. Excellent chrome-lined mirror bore, no import-marks, functional. PAKISTANI Model No.4 Mk.2 Enfield bolt-action rifle # C33476 (.303 British) mfg. by Pakistan Ordnance Factory (POF) in 1960. Excellent condition, with full oil-blacked finish on the metal. Very little actual wear, all-matching numbers, with a mirror-perfect 5-groove bore and a 0-marked bolt-head. Wood has some handling-marks and storage-dings as well as rack-numbers stamped in it. ROMANIAN Model 44 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # KM271 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Cugir in 1954. Very Good condition with 60% or better bluing on all metal parts, bore is bright and strong. Bolt and magazine floorplate mismatched, buttplate matching receiver. Buttstock has a few handling-marks and an arsenal-repair at toe. Includes correct sling but no cleaning rod. PHOTOS . . . $140. RUSSIAN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 13396 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Tula in 1926. Very Good condition with hexagonal receiver and most bluing intact. Bore is a bit dark but strong (counterbored at muzzle). No serialized parts matching, buttstock and handguard has scrapes and shows evidence of actual use but is sound with no cracks. All markings very strong and clear, no cleaning rod. This is the last year of production for the 1891 long rifle. PHOTOS . . . $195. C&R SOLD
RUSSIAN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 26897 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1930. Near Excellent condition with nearly all blue remaining. Bore is quite bright and strong. Bolt not matching, every thing else matches though. Buttstock has original finish with quite a few scuffs and other handling marks, an arsenal-repair on left side (where scope mount used to be on the original rifle this stock was issued to). RUSSIAN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 51247 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Tula in 1935, transferred to the Ministry of Defense in 1948. Very Good original condition with 50% or better bluing on all metal parts, bore is dark but quite strong. An EX-PE SNIPER rifle (used a top mount on hexagonal receiver). SWISS Model K-31 Schmidt-Rubin short rifle # 989221 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1952. Excellent condition with 90% original bluing and a perfect, mirror bore. All-matching numbers including magazine. Wood is lovely beech and retains its original finish with the usual number of handling-marks, end of stock stamped V 48 beneath buttplate (no soldier's tag). Much better than usual wood with original finish, missing handguard, front barrel-band, and both action-bolts but includes sling and quick-detach buckle. PHOTO . . . $175. C&R
YUGOSLAVIAN Model 59 SKS semiautomatic SNIPER rifle # C-48843 (7.62x39) mfg. by Kragujevac in 1965. Excellent condition overall, metal and bore is excellent, with all-matching serial numbers. Has unusual scope-mount attached to left side of receiver (however no upper mount or scope is present). Wood is a little beat-up with some loss on left side just forward of the mount with rubber recoil-pad. Has cleaning-rod and blade-bayonet attached. Includes large knurled tightening nut on mount.
