U.S.A. Model 1898 Krag-Jorgensen bolt-action infantry rifle # 415167 (.30-40 Krag) mfg. by Springfield Armory in October, 1902. Near Excellent condition with full bluing on all metal parts. Has very strong and mostly-bright 4-groove bore. Walnut stock has weak but clear boxed JSA 1903 cartouche on left side and a few handling marks as well as painted unit numbers, handguard appears to be a replacement. Not import-marked. U.S.A. Model 1898 Krag-Jorgensen bolt-action "carbine" # 210765 (.30-40 Krag) mfg. by Springfield Armory in June, 1899 as a rifle and shortened by Bannerman in the 1920's to carbine configuration. Good condition with most bluing worn off on all metal parts. Has 22" barrel with a very strong and mirror-bright 4-groove bore. Nice stock has 1902-dated cartouche. Walnut stock has 3494 stamped on right side (matching receiver) with few other handling marks (looks new). Excellent or better condition with all external bluing remaining, bore is extremely strong and mirror-bright (TE =4.0, ME = 1.5). Walnut stock has many original SHARP cartouches and looks original, but there is an easily-repaired 4-5" lengthwise hairline crack on the right side by receiver that would not affect function. U.S.A. Model 1917 bolt-action sporterized rifle # 578110 (.30-06) made by Remington in 1918. Excellent condition, with full bluing remaining on all external metal. This appears to be at first a Remington Model 30S, which is a scarce sporting rifle made in 1931 from Model of 1917 actions which had the rear sight (and rear sight guards) removed and replaced with a Lyman peep rear fight (as does this example), However instead of having an express-type sporting half-length buttstock this has a nicely (professionally) checkered military stock with undated High Standard barrel. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 866852 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in September, 1942 with SA 3-49 replacement barrel. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 3668831 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in April, 1945 with SA 1-55 replacement barrel. Excellent condition with most Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, bore is quite nice (TE = less than 1.0, ME = 0.0). A Garand that was rebuilt, rebarreled and fitted with upgraded parts in the mid 1950's with a fantastic as-new barrel. Has nice walnut stock with no visible cartouche. Near Excellent condition, metal has nearly all original Parkerized finish, bore is excellent and mirror-bright ((MW = 1.75). Stock is birch with Italian FAT / 78 cartouche (Terni, 1978) and some scratches and other handling marks.
