BRAZILIAN Model 1908 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 5893a (7x57mm) mfg. by DWM Berlin in c.1909. ABSOLUTELY UNISSUED condition, with 100% bluing (receiver in the white, as is proper), bore is mirror-perfect. All matching numbers with matching-numbered bayonet and brass & leather scabbard. Brazilian-crest above chamber perfect. Walnut stock and handguard has gorgeous tiger-striped figure with no handling-marks and a few tiny dings with original finish and razor-sharp cartouche. BRAZILIAN Model 1935 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 7004 & 7005  (7x57mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Mauser in 1935. A consecutive pair of UNISSUED rifles with 100% bluing, bores are perfect, both have all-matching numbers. Brazilian-crest above chamber perfect, as is Mauser banner on rear receiver. Stocks and handguards have original finish with only a few tiny dings but show no signs of actual use. Both rifles include hinged muzzle-caps and matching numbered bayonets in new condition, as well as Mauser factory test-targets both dated 27 APRIL 1937. BRITISH No.1 Mk.III SMLE bolt-action rifle # G74122 (.303 British) mfg. by Enfield in 1908 with 3-53 dated barrel, went through Factory Thorough Repair at Lithgow in 1954, DD (Australian Department of Defense) stamped atop receiver.  Very Good condition with some wear on exposed metal. Bore has a gorgeous mirror-bright barrel with strong rifling. All matching numbers.  Stock is dark and has a rough finish (looks as if it was steam-cleaned) with a few dents and dings and other handling-marks. Has transverse screw through forend, arsenal-repairs at heel and toe. GERMAN Model 98k bolt-action rifle # 9575e  (8mm), a reconfigured Gewehr 98 rifle mfg. by Amberg in 1918, converted to the K98 configuration in August, 1936 (marked on underside of barrel) with a straight bolt.  A rearsenaled Russian-capture in Excellent condition, with 100% bluing, all parts electropenciled with number of receiver.  Has an extremely attractive UNSANDED walnut buttstock with flat buttplate and very clear P74 cartouches and stamps (a code only used on 1934 on the K-dated rifles). Has all milled small parts except for stamped front band. Bolt is from a vz24 but headspaces correctly. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright, Bavarian lion (rampant, crowned, holding sword aloft) on left side of receiver, eagle holding swastika on left side of barrel-shank, both have been partially defaced with a punch. GERMAN Model 98k bolt-action rifle # 7758m  (8mm), mfg. by Mauser (factory code S/42) in 1937.  A rearsenaled Russian-capture in Excellent condition, with 100% bluing, all parts electropenciled with number of receiver.  Has an attractive laminated stock with cupped buttplate and all milled small parts except for stamped triggerguard. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright, intact Weimar eagle on left side of barrel-shank, three Weimar eagle proofs on right side of receiver.  PHOTOS . . . $375.   C&R    SOLD

GERMAN Model 98k bolt-action rifle # 18  (8mm), mfg. by Steyr Daimler Puch (factory code bnz) in 1943.  A rearsenaled Russian-capture in Excellent condition, with 100% bluing.  Receiver has been "scrubbed" of original German serial numbers, and was renumbered 18 by the Soviets, all parts electropenciled 18 to match receiver.  Has an attractive laminated stock with cupped buttplate and all milled small parts except for stamped triggerguard.
