ARGENTINE Model 1891 Mauser bolt-action rifle # E.M.108 (7.65x54) mfg. by Loewe in late 1894. Excellent condition, with 95% or better bluing, crest has been ground off top of receiver (as usual), top of barrel-shank marked ESCUELA MILITAR with large castle waving flag (a special issuew of 150 rifles made for the military school). All metal parts numbered to receiver (including stock and cleaning-rod). Bore is excellent and extremely bright with very strong rifling. Stock has original finish with some dings and handling marks from actual use. Features short handguard and nice green leather sling. Not import-marked. Rare, one of only 125 produced. BRITISH Pattern 14 "Enfield" bolt-action rifle # 102724 (.303 British) mfg. by Eddystone in c.1915. Near Excellent condition with 90% or better blued finish. Bore is strong and quite bright, bolt has no number. Wood has quite a few handling-marks, with a wooden plug set into the right side. BRITISH Model No.5 Mk.1 Enfield bolt-action "Jungle Carbine" # D9830 (.303 British) mfg. at Fazakerly in December 1944. Near Excellent condition, with 80% military stoving (glossy black paint) chipped in spots from external metal. Bolt is matching, no other parts numbered with strong mirror-bright 5-groove bore and 2-marked bolt-head. Wood has quite a few handling marks from actual use as well as paint on both sides and an original web sling. Not import-marked, a very early example. PHOTOS . . . $675. C&R SOLD

CZECH Model vz22 Mauser bolt-action rifle # E96 (8mm) mfg. by CZ in c.1922 with long barrel. Very Good condition, most bluing faded to brown or gray. CZECH Model VZ-52/57 semiautomatic rifle # KN65254 (7.62x39) mfg. by CZ (code she) in 1959. Excellent-plus, nearly UNISSUED condition, with 100% light-gray parkerized finish and black enamel finish on handguard, bolt and bolt-cover. Perfect mirror-bore, really lovely golden-hued wood stock with only a few minor dings from handling. Includes seldom-seen front sight-hood (which also locks the nut at the muzzle). GERMAN Model K98 bolt-action Mauser rifle # 33669 (8x57i) mfg. by Mauser in 1945 (code byf 45). Very Good condition, some finish wear (especially on magazine floorplate, triggerguard and front barrel band from carrying with sweaty hands). Matching bolt (guaranteed). no other parts numbered (as is proper, though the triggerguard and magazine floorplate are both stamped byf). ITALIAN Model 38 Carcano bolt-action short rifle # K9923 (6.5x52 Carcano) mfg. by Terni in 1940 (year 18 of Mussolini's rule). Very Good condition, with much bluing remaining on metal parts. Bore is actually quite strong and mostly bright and rifle is functional. Barrel is accuracy marked with crossed rifle over target. PERUVIAN Model 1909 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 26312 (7.65x53) mfg. by Mauser in c. 1914. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 98% original bluing (receiver in the white as is proper for these). Bore is mirror-perfect, Peruvian crest is extremely bold and beautiful, and that roller-coaster rear sight works perfectly. All matching numbers (including bolt), stock is nearly flawless (with large and bold MAUSER BANNER cartouche on right side). PORTUGUESE Model 1937 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # C19778 (8x57) mfg. by Mauser Oberndorf in 1937. Excellent-PLUS condition with 100% high-gloss bluing, all-matching numbers and bold royal crest above chamber and all Nazi eagles and proofs intact. Metal looks unused, with nice mirror-bright bore. Includes cleaning-rod and worn leather German-style sling. Stock has some heavy contact marks and a small crack on the right side by recoil lug. VENEZUELAN Model FN-49 Saive semiautomatic rifle # 5641 (7x57) mfg. by Fabrique National in c.1953. Excellemt-PLUS, essentially unissued condition, with 99% or better original painted finish (stoving) and mirror bright and strong bore. All-matching numbers (5641), Venezuelan crest on receiver is bold, includes muzzle-break.
