Bore is strong and very bright, Brazilian crest is bold and attractive. All matching serial numbers. BRITISH Model Pattern 14 "Enfield" bolt-action rifle # 690096 (.303 British) mfg. in the U.S.A. by Eddystone in 1914. Very Good or better condition, with over 80% original blued finish and a mirror-bright and strong bore. Pointers from volley-sights removed. Bolt (and all bolt parts) matching receiver, all other parts (including stock) mismatched. Has strong Chilean crest above chamber, rear of receiver has bold 7.62 above N. Bore and action is full of old black stinky grease, walnut stock (with 1895-dated cartouche) has original finish with considerable dings, dents and other handling-marks. Not import-marked. CZECH Model 98k bolt-action rifle # 2105i (8mm) mfg. by Bystrica (factory code dou.45) in late 1945. A basically UNISSUED all-correct postwar rifle in excellent-PLUS condition, with 100% bluing and matching bolt (no other parts are numbered on these). Top of receiver has been scrubbed, near perfect Kriegsmodell laminated stock with stamped small parts and winter triggerguard. Bore is perfect and mirror-bright. EGYPTIAN "Hakim" semiautomatic rifle # 30085 (8x57) mfg. by Maadi in 1961. Near Excellent condition, over 80% original bluing with a mostly-bright very strong bore. FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 64826 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by Tikka in 1944 on a 1895-dated Setroryetsk hexagonal receiver that was Austrian capture-marked (AZF) during WWI. Excellent condition with 95% original bluing. Bolt-knob matching, bore is strong and mirror-bright, includes cleaning-rod. One-piece Russian stock has some handling-marks and scratches, but is sound. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 207891 (7.62x54R) mfg. by SAKO in 1941 on a 1906-dated Tula receiver with PUOLUSTUSLAITOS on barrel-shank, pistol-grip stock. Good overall condition with little to no remaining bluing on metal parts and quite bright very strong bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Matching bolt-knob, includes cleaning-rod. FINN Model 28-76 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action MATCH TARGET rifle # 1011 (7.62x54R) with undated barrel, built on an 1898-dated Tula receiver. Excellent-PLUS condition with 98% or better external bluing. Bore is strong and mirror bright. Has aperture front and rear target sights. Birch target stock is quite attractive with a few very minor dings and tape adhesive remnants on right side but no cracks or other problems. As nice as can ever be acquired. PHOTOS . . . $1850. GERMAN Gewehr 88/05 Commission bolt-action rifle # 943k (8x57JS) mfg. by Loewe in 1890. Excellent condition, a Turkish refurb with most remaining bluing and retaining its metal barrel-jacket, magazine altered in 1905 to utilize regular stripper-clip loading. No matching numbers (as usual). Barrel and receiver S-marked, bore is mirror-bright. Walnut stock has no finish and is a little scuffed-up but sound. Rear sight graduated with Arabic numbers. Completely functional, I would not hesitate to shoot this (however I DO NOT recommend any firing military ammo in it, only modern U.S.-manufactured commercial loads in it rather than milsurp ammo). GERMAN Model Karabiner 88 bolt-action carbine (no serial number) by uncertain maker c.1893. A very rare commercial example featuring double-set hair-triggers, with receiver "in the white" and beautiful mottled finish on the metal of the magazine. No manufacturer's markings or serial numbers, just load-info (as is typical on commercial rifles) on left side of the receiver, rear sight is of the folding express type. Excellent condition, stock has very glossy finish with some really old handling marks (but no cracks or issues) and absolutely as cute as can be. Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $1275. HUNGARIAN Model 44 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # BK5958 (7.62x54R) mfg. at Budapest in 1953. UNISSUED, test-fired only with perfect bluing (some rub-marks on left side of magazine assembly) and perfect mirror-bore. All-matching numbers as-issued, all parts 02-marked, a few minor scrapes and scratches on wood from handling and storage. Nice examples of this rifle have seriously dried-up over the last decade. NORWEGIAN Model 1912 Krag-Jorgenson bolt-action carbine # 20098 (6.5x55) mfg. by Kronsburg Vapenfabrikk in 1918. Excellent condition, with 95% original bluing (except on front band), all-matching serial numbers except stock, cleaning-rod present, strong markings, and a really gorgeous bright-bore. Includes unique brass muzzle-cap. Original and unaltered, non-matching stock was professionally refinished many decades ago. ROMANIAN Model SKS semiautomatic rifle # FE1559 (7.62x39) mfg. at Cugir in 1958. Excellent condition, with almost full remaining external blued finish. All matching serial numbers, chrome-lined bore is mirror-bright and very strong. Includes cleaning-rod, stock shows some dings and scuffs with chipping of the original crappy lacquer. SOVIET Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 1 . . . that's right, serial number ONE, (7.62x54R) mfg. by Tula in 1940 on a round receiver with S P (sniper) stamping on receiver, but never drilled and tapped for scope-mount. Excellent arsenal-refurbished condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore. All numbered parts boldly stamped 1 and nothing else. SWEDISH Model 38B bolt-action Mauser short rifle # 627974 (6.5x55) mfg. by Husqvarna in 1941 with bent bolt and threaded muzzle (includes metal muzzle-cap). Excellent condition, with 95% or better external bluing on all metal. Has mirror-bright and strong bore (disk stamped 6.51/3), all-matching serial numbers except for cleaning rod (as usual). SWEDISH Model AG42B Ljungmann semiautomatic rifle # 10252 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1943. Excellent condition with 95% or better original bluing. Includes cleaning-rod, bore is excellent and mirror-bright with a 6.48/0 stamped bore-disk. Wood is beech with a few of the usual handling-marks. U.S.A. Model 1894 Winchester lever-action takedown short rifle # 147403 (.30-30 Winchester) mfg. by Winchester in 1898. Good overall condition, some light rust adhering to left side of receiver. Features 22" octagonal barrel, three-quarter length (removable) magazine, and half-length forend. Rear sight is a later replacement. Bore is excellent and mostly bright, stock has minor losses on left side of forend, but no cracks with steel crescent buttplate. Totally functional (the fellow I purchased it from claimed that he bagged a deer with it not long ago). Very rare, the first one of these I have ever seen "in the flesh". PHOTO . . . $1850. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 1959/66 A1 SKS semiautomatic rifle # S-657245 (7.62x39) mfg. by Zastava in 1981. Excellent-PLUS, essentially UNISSUED condition, with 100% bluing, perfect bore and all-matching numbers with integral bayonet, non-ported grenade-launcher and night-sights.
