BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.1* Enfield bolt-action rifle # 91C7482 (.303 British) mfg. by Savage-Stevens in 1944. Excellent condition, with nearly full military Parkerizing on metal. Has an excellent mirror-bright 2-groove bore, all-matching numbers with 0-marked bolt-head. US PROPERTY marked on receiver. CANADIAN Model 1910 bolt-action straight-pull infantry rifle # PH1429 (.303 British) mfg. by Ross Rifle Co. in 1910. Very Good or better condition with full bluing on receiver with most remaining metal parts browned or faded with a mirror-bright bore with extremely strong rifling. Bolt still has some fading case-colors, rifle remains in its original military configuration (most remaining have been sporeterized). CANADIAN Enfield C No.4 Mk.I* bolt-action rifle # 93L7306(.303 British) mfg. by Long Branch arsenal in 1950. Near Excellent condition, with 90% or more original bluing on all metal parts with an excellent mirror-bright bore. Bolt and magazine matches receiver with 2-marked bolt head. CHILEAN Model 1895 Mauser bolt-action rifle # E5774 (7x57) mfg. by Loewe in 1895. Excellent condition, with full remaining bluing on metal parts and retains its vivid fire-blue on the smaller parts. Chilean crest above chamber is extremely bold. All-matching numbers (cleaning rod not numbered), bore is very strong and mirror bright. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 73968 (7.62x54R) mfg. by VKT in 1944 on a 1910-dated Tula scrubbed receiver. Good or better condition with little bluing remaining on all exposed metal surfaces but has a very bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Matching bolt-knob, includes cleaning-rod. JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 30 # 10580 (6.5x50) mfg. at Jinsen Arsenal (Inchon, Korea) in late-1938. Excellent condition with full original bluing, bolt and bolt parts numbered 580 (matching), mum defaced by file marks. Gorgeous mirror-bright and strong bore, includes correct cleaning rod, as nice as any Jinsen T-38 we have ever seen. Stock and handguard has original finish with very few of the usual handling marks. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 10 # 95286 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in late 1944. Very Good or better condition with full original bluing (fading to brown). Bolt and all bolt parts stamped 286 (matching). Has intact unground chrysanthemum above chamber. This type has fixed peep rear sight, cylindrical bolt handle with welded safety knob. Forend consists of separate piece of wood held in place by barrel-bands with no provision for cleaning rod. Stock and short handguard has original finish and has never been sanded. Excellent condition with full original bluing, bolt and bolt parts numbered 377 (NOT matching), mum heavily ground. This type has ladder peep rear sight, missing aircraft wings, monopod-type rear barrel-band (without monopod) and inverted V front sight (guards snapped off). SWEDISH Model 96 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 503333 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1922. Excellent condition, about 95% external bluing with near-perfect mirror-bore, all-matching numbers except barrel-bands. Nice Beech buttstock and handguard with very few handling-marks. TURKISH Model "Enfauser" hybrid Enfield/Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 2052 (8x57) originally made as a SMLE No.1 Mk.III at Enfield in 1914 and converted by Ankara arsenal in 1936. Very Good condition, with at least 60% thinning bluing remaining on all external metal (wear on magazine floorplate, triggerguard and barrel-bands from carry). Bolt handle numbered 1234, bore is mirror-bright and strong, includes cleaning-rod. Stock is beech with some nicks, gouges and other handling marks but has no cracks or issues. Very rare, some of the Enfields captured by the Turks at the disastrous battle of Gallipoli were converted to 8mm by marrying Mauser forends to Enfield actions. This was one of 24 imported (by mistake) by Century Arms in the early 1990's.. Includes correct bayonet and scabbard (not shown in photo). PHOTOS . . . $975. C&R SOLD
