BRITISH Martini-Henry Mark II long-lever single-shot rifle without serial number (.577/450) mfg. by Enfield in 1874 with correct socket-bayonet. Good condition with no external finish and very little pitting. All original (not a Khyber-pass copy) and functional with a dark bore that has strong rifling. Original stock and handguard sound with no cracks or splits (repaired at tang). Includes U.S. Army bringback documentation from Afghanistan. BRITISH Enfield No.4 Mk.1/3 bolt-action rifle # A23703 (.303 British) originally made by Savage-Stevens and has undergone a Factory Thorough Repair to NEW condition in 1954. UNISSUED, still in factory wax wrap in green plastic bag sealed with black tape. Left side of bag has been slit to reveal serial number, original arsenal tag still intact and readable inside bag. The Mark 1/3 designation indicates a Mk.1* rifle that has been upgraded to the Mk.2 configuration. PHOTOS . . . $750. C&R SOLD
BRITISH Model No.5 Mk.1 Enfield bolt-action "Jungle Carbine" # BK3909 (.303 British) mfg. at B.S.A. Shirley in 1947. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 100% intact military stoving (glossy black paint) on metal. Stock and bolt matching receiver, magazine not numbered, with strong mirror-bright 5-groove bore and 0-marked bolt-head. Wood looks nearly new with a few minor compressions. CANADIAN Enfield C No.4 Mk.I* bolt-action rifle # 93L2925 (.303 British) mfg. by Long Branch arsenal in 1950. Near Excellent condition, with full blued finish (magazine browned), all-matching numbers with a #0 marked bolt-head. 4-groove bore is mirror-bright and strong (showing little if any actual use), has CMk.3 stamped ladder rear-sight. FINN Model 1891 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 107805 (7.62x54R) mfg. at Tula in 1900 with [SA] property marking on left side of barrel-shank. Near Excellent condition, most bluing remaining with very strong markings, including Russian eagles. Bolt-body stamped 107805. Bore is mostly bright with strong rifling, has been counterbored at muzzle. Russian one-piece stock has 1" x 3.5" arsenal repair on left side with few handling marks. Includes cleaning rod. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 259676 (7.62x54R) mfg. by SAKO in 1945 with an 1894-dated Chatellerault receiver. Excellent condition with 95% bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). 9676 stamped on bolt-knob as well as full serial 259676 stamped on bolt body, numbers on magazine-floorplate and buttplate scrubbed. Includes cleaning-rod and correct sling, Finn wooden property-tag tied to front sling swivel. Very attractive two-piece postwar stock (squared finger-joints) looks to be a postwar replacement with a few dings and minor handling marks but is sound with little apparent wear. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 509396 (7.62x54R) mfg. by SAKO in 1944 with SK.Y marked barrel and buttstock. Good condition with basically no remaining bluing on metal parts with a bright very strong bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). 9396 stamped on bolt-knob and magazine-floorplate, buttplate number scrubbed (as usual), 9524 stamped on right side of barrel shank. Includes cleaning-rod and SK.Y-marked 28/30 web sling. FINN Model 39 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 36805 (7.62x54R), No Maker, barrel simply stamped 48. Excellent-PLUS condition, full bluing on all metal parts (barrel has a reddish hue). Bolt-knob stamped 7825. Bore is mirror-bright and very sharp. New-looking two-piece postwar stock (square finger-joints) has only a few minor handling marks. FRENCH Model 1886 M93 Lebel bolt-action infantry rifle # FJ84683 (8x50R Lebel) mfg. by Saint Etienne in 1892. Very Good condition with 70% or more original bluing and virtually none of the usual pitting. Amazingly excellent bright and strong bore, fully functional (I would not hesitate to shoot it). Bolt number X-ed out (stock number gouged out) remaining parts matching barrel. Wood has quite a few handling-marks and dings from actual use but is otherwise sound though missing a pin on the forearm. With nice leather sling that fits perfectly but not certain it is original. FRENCH Model 1936 MAS bolt-action rifle # M38453 (8x56R) mfg. by St. Ettienne around 1952. Excellent, arsenal refurbished condition with near 100% Parkerized finish on all metal and a nice wood stock. Bolt matching, nothing else does with a shiny, bright bore. GERMAN Model 98k bolt-action rifle # 2760b (8mm), mfg. by Mauser (factory code S/42) in 1936. A "bringback" in Near Excellent condition, with 80% bluing. Basically this has been put together from three rifles. The bolt (and all bolt-parts) is numbered 3692r, the barreled action, rear sight, trigger assembly, magazine and rear barrel band is numbered 2760 (all bolts numbered 60), the stock and front band is numbered 1952n. Has an attractive laminated stock with bpr-41 marked cupped buttplate and clear eagle / H on right side. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright, two intact Weimar eagles on left side, three Weimar eagle proofs on right side of receiver. Missing barrel-band spring. Not import marked. PHOTOS . . . $675. Excellent-PLUS, literally UNISSUED condition, 100% bluing with very strong markings and a mirror-perfect bore. All matching numbers, including bolt cocking-piece, gorgeous American Black Walnut stock is like new with very bold Russian cartouche on right side, small flaming-bomb U.S. cartouche on bottom of stock just forward of magazine. SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle # 124364 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1902 with straight-bolt and threaded muzzle (with screw-on cap). Excellent condition, with 95% bluing on all metal parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.51/1). All matching numbers (except cleaning rod, which never match), streaked walnut stock & handguard has very few handling-marks (mostly compressions from adjacent rifles during transportation and storage). SWISS Model 1878 Vetterli bolt-action infantry rifle # 172056 (10.4mm Swiss rimfire) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in c.1878. Excellent condition, all-matching numbers (and every part is numbered). All original blued finish essentially as nice as these ever get. Bore is mostly bright (some gunk in the grooves) with very strong rifling.
