AUSTRALIAN No.1 Mk.III bolt-action rifle # B56914 (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal in 1941.  Near Excellent condition with 90% finish and bright and strong bore. All matching numbers, slotted for (missing) magazine-cutoff, buttstock has very sharp 1941-dated cartouches with a few of the expected handling-marks and compressions. CZECH Model 98 Mauser bolt-action rifle # C7912 (8x57), mfg. by Brno  in 1923 with straight-bolt.  Very Good condition, with 80% original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore.  Bolt has no serial # but is CZ marked, remainder of parts that are serial numbered do not match receiver. Excellent-PLUS condition with 98% or better bluing on all metal parts and a strong (if not very bright) bore. Matching bolt-knob, includes cleaning-rod. FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 61045 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by Tikka in 1944. Excellent-PLUS condition with 99% or better bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright very strong bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Matching bolt-body, includes cleaning-rod. FINN Model 28/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 67708 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1940 by SAKO. Excellent-PLUS condition with 98% or better original bluing . Matching number on bolt-knob, bore is mirror-bright and very strong, includes cleaning-rod. Three-piece Finn stock has original finish (including very bold 1940-dated civil guard cartouche) with very few handling marks. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 203254 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1941 by SAKO with PUOLUSTUSLAITOS on barrel-shank. Very Good or better condition with 80% or better original bluing . Matching number on bolt-knob, bore is mostly bright and strong, includes cleaning-rod. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifles, a CONSECUTIVE PAIR 235238 & 235239 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by SAKO in 1943.  Both rifles in EXCELLENT-PLUS condition with virtually no wear on bluing, both have matching bolt-knobs. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 33773 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1942 by Tikka with Austrian WWI-capture marking AZF as well as Austrian-style eagle on top receiver flat  Excellent-PLUS condition with 100% original bluing. Matching number on bolt-knob, numbers on magazine floorplate and buttplate scrubbed or not matching (as usual), includes cleaning-rod. Bore is mirror-bright (essentially like new). GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 5152d (8x57), mfg. by Sauer & Son  in 1941. Very Good or better condition, with 80% original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore.  Appears to be a bring-back with intact Nazi markings and all-matching serial-numbers except for bolt (and all bolt-parts, numbered 6979f). ITALIAN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action Cavalry Carbine # UI7735 (6.5x52) mfg. by Beretta in 1941. Excellent condition, with 90% or so bluing  and bright and strong bore. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle series 40 # 289 (7.7x58) mfg. at Jinsen Arsenal in c.1940. Excellent condition with full original bluing (bottom of mag-floorplate and triggerguard a bit browned from carry).  Intact chrysanthemum, bolt mismatched, missing slider for rear sight.  Excellent chrome-lined mirror bore, original unsanded finish on wood with a few of the expected handling-marks, not import-marked.  Scarce Korean arsenal. POLISH Model 44 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # KC02526 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Radom in 1952. Excellent-PLUS, literally UNISSUED condition with 100+% bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright perfect bore. Excellent-PLUS, literally UNISSUED condition with 100+% bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright perfect bore. RUSSIAN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 8377 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Tula in 1915 with intact eagles, additional Austrian WWI-capture marking AZF on top receiver flat and Finnish property-mark [SA] on left side of barrel-shank.  Very Good or better condition with 90% or better bluing on all metal parts and a strong (if not very bright) bore, counterbored at muzzle. Matching Finn serial numbers on bolt-body, numbers on magazine-floorplate and buttplate not matching or scrubbed.  No cleaning-rod, has 91/30 type front band barely holding the handguard on, sling-swivels are missing. Two-piece Finn stock has quite a few handling marks but is sound with faint Russian cartouche on right side. PHOTOS . . . $200    C&R   SOLD

RUSSIAN Model 38 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # KI3813 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1941 with FINN-CAPTURE marking [SA] on left side of barrel-shank. Very Good condition with 70-80% bluing on all metal parts and a somewhat bright and strong bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). All-matching numbers, wood has original finish (with faint Russian cartouche on right side), graffiti X on left side and initials EH on top near buttplate. Not import-marked, a very rare find. RUSSIAN Model SKS-45 Simonov semiautomatic rifle # Kb4527D (7.62x39) mfg. by Tula  in c.1955/6.   UNISSUED, a 100% arsenal-refurbished example with 100% blue (blade-bayonet, bolt and bolt-carrier hard-chromed), bore mirror-bright and nearly perfect.  Shellacked laminated buttstock with much very attractive figure in the wood and stamped numbers matching everywhere (no cross-outs or line-throughs, serial number electropenciled on buttplate).  Wood has a couple abrasions on left side else no handling-marks. SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle # 92816 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1901 with straight-bolt and threaded muzzle.  Excellent condition, with 90% original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.53/2).  All-matching numbers except cleaning rod (676). SWEDISH Model 96 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 237163 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1909 with straight-bolt and unthreaded muzzle.  Excellent-PLUS condition, with 95% or better original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.50/0.  All-matching numbers except cleaning rod (unnumbered). Streaked Walnut stock looks almost new, but has just been carefully preserved with only a few nicks, compressions and other handling-marks PHOTOS . . . $425.   C&R   SOLD

SWEDISH Model 96 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 465197 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1919 with straight-bolt and unthreaded muzzle.  Excellent condition, with 95% original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.50/2).  All-matching numbers except unnumbered cleaning rod, several smaller bolt-parts look to have been arsenal-renumbered to match. SWEDISH Model 38 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 624588 (6.5x55), mfg. by Husqvarna  in 1941 with bent bolt and unthreaded muzzle. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 99% original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.49/1).  Most numbers matching receiver (safety has been electropenciled to match, buttplate numbered 622). Rear sight is of the T-type calibrated for 150-600 meters. Beech stock & handguard has a few minor scratches and handling-marks, includes used but correct sling. PHOTOS . . . $450.   C&R   SOLD

TURKISH Model 38 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 58137 (8x57), with markings of K. Kale (Ankara) in 1941. Very Good condition, with much remaining bluing on all major parts, barrel-bands and magazine-floorplate / triggerguard browned. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Bolt and rear-sight both numbered to match receiver. Very attractive Walnut stock & handguard has some streaking and tigerstripe figure with some handling-marks from actual use. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 3160 (8x57), mfg. by Nazis in 1940 (date very faint but visible). Near Excellent condition, with 90% or so original bluing on all parts. Has most Nazi markings ground off with bold YUGO crest atop receiver and scarce TRZ-5 markings on left side. Bolt not matching, stock and buttplate do match receiver. Includes front-sight hood, cleaning-rod and capture-screws as well as worn Yugo sling. PHOTOS . . . $225.   C&R   SOLD
