ARGENTINE Model 1927 Systema Colt semiautomatic pistol # 78383 "Ace" conversion (.22 Long Rifle), mfg. at Hafdasa in 1953 for the Buenos Aires Police. Excellent condition (was certainly re-blued after conversion to .22LR), with very little external wear on the 95% or better finish (a few small spots of verdigris here and there). Bore is mirror-bright. All matching serial numbers with unmarked magazine, all markings clear. AUSTRIAN Model 1912 Steyr-Hahn semiautomatic pistol # 5789j (9mm Steyr) mfg. by Steyr in 1915. Excellent condition, with 90% external finish (some very minor pitting on slide). Bore is mirror-bright and all markings are intact. Checkered walnut grips are in decent shape. Totally functional, though magazine follower has been altered so the slide will not remain open after the last round. Not import-marked, scarce this nice, includes two (2) Steyr-Hahn stripper-clips. AUSTRIAN Model 1908 Pieper semiautomatic pistol # 38857A (.25 ACP) mfg. by Steyr in c.1920. Very Good condition with 70% original bluing and all-matching numbers. An interesting pistol with tip-up barrel, back of the magazine has two notches for either single-shot (using tip-up feature) or magazine-fed usage. AUSTRIAN Model 1909/21 Pieper semiautomatic pistol # 50476P (.32 ACP) mfg. by Steyr in 1922. Good to Very Good condition, with external finish tuned to brown. Bore is frosted but strong and all markings are intact (date 22 above Hapsburg eagle on left side of barrel faint). Bakelite Steyr-logo grips are unchipped and sound. A VERY interesting design, the lever on the left side breaks-open the barrel for single-loading, and the magazine has two positions (the lower one for single loading. the upper one for magazine loading).
