ARGENTINE Model 1891 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # W0384 (7.65x53) mfg. by DWM in 1901.  Excellent condition, with 95% strong bluing. Scrubbed crest (as usual) with much fire-bluing on small parts, all-matching numbers (including cleaning-rod), bore is strong and mirror bright. BRITISH SHT .22 Mark IV* bolt-action single-shot target rifle # E2472 (.22 Long Rifle) mfg. by B.S.A. in 1915.  Excellent condition with some signs of actual service usage. Perfect mirror-bore, nice metal and wood, really neat complicated aperture rear sight (a Bisley Works model by Parker). BRITISH Model No.5 Mk.1 Enfield bolt-action "Jungle Carbine" # X6406 (.303 British) mfg. at Fazakerly in September, 1946. Excellent condition, with 98% intact military stoving (glossy black paint) on metal. Stock matching receiver, bolt numbered Z494, magazine numbered Y1496, with strong mirror-bright 5-groove bore and 1-marked bolt-head.  Wood has very few handling marks, a lovely example, not import-marked.  PHOTOS . . . $475.   C&R    SOLD

CHILEAN Model 1895 Mauser bolt-action rifle # G7162 (7x57) mfg. by Loewe in 1895.  Excellent condition, with 95% original deep bluing on all metal parts.   Chilean crest above chamber is very strong and clear.  All-matching numbers (including cleaning-rod).  Bore is exceptional and mirror-bright.  Lovely tigerstriped walnut stock having 1895-dated Chilean cartouche, was sanded and refinished sometime in the distant past. COLOMBIAN Model 47 bolt-action rifle # 1264-58 (.30-06),  mfg. by Madsen in 1958.   Excellent-PLUS  (literally UNISSUED) condition, with 100% original black-painted finish, bore is mirror-perfect.  Stock has a few very minor scuffs and compressions on right side from handling but no apparent wear. This was the last military bolt-action designed for general use (complete with very effective muzzle-break and recoil-pad), not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $625.   Not C&R   SOLD

FRENCH Model 1907-15 Berthier bolt-action infantry rifle # B50681 (8x50R Lebel), mfg. by Delaunay Belleville in 1917.  Very Good condition, N-marked chamber, all matching numbers including stock, bore is very dark and pitted, metal has some rust under the wood, quite a few handling-marks on stock but has original finish. FRENCH Model 1936 MAS bolt-action rifle # K62555 (7.5x54mm) mfg. by St. Ettienne around 1952. Excellent, arsenal refurbished condition with near 100% Parkerized finish on all metal and a nice wood stock. Shiny, bright bore. Includes integral spike-bayonet and sling. PHOTOS . . . $275.  C&R  SOLD

FRENCH Model 1949/56 MAS semiautomatic rifle # G73898 (rechambered by CENTURY INTERNATIONAL ARMS to 7.62 NATO / .308 Win.) manufactured at St. Etienne in 1972. Near Excellent condition, rifle has full gray parkerized finish and a bright apparently strong bore. Only a few handling marks on the wood or metal. Includes one .308-marked (on the bottom by Century) magazine and rubber buttplate. Not guaranteed to function reliably or at all.  PHOTOS  . . . $395.  C&R   SOLD

ITALIAN Model 91 Mannlicher-Carcano Truppi-Speciale bolt-action carbine # 22 (7.92x57) mfg. by Terni in early 1941 (the XIX year of Mussolini) and converted to 8mm single-shot training rifle with S-marked chamber and bolt. Very Good condition, bore is very bright and strong, stock has a few scuffs and dings but no cracks or anything major.  PHOTOS . . . $200.   C&R   SOLD

JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 27, # 80186 (6.5x50) mfg. at Nagoya in c.1936. Near Excellent condition with full original bluing on receiver and barrel, mum has been lightly crossed-through but has not been ground.  Bolt (and all bolt parts) # 452. This type has ladder peep-type rear-sight and long cleaning-rod (which is present). Bore is strong and mostly bright, wood has never been sanded and has wartime damage with 18 notches intentionally cut at bottom of grip and a .30 Caliber bullet-hole through upper-right of forend (exiting at bottom of stock, not touching the barrel) with the expected handling-marks and dings. PERSIAN Model 98/29 Mauser bolt-action rifle # Y4624 (8x57), mfg. by Brno in 1931 (A.H. 1309).  New, literally UNISSUED condition, with 100% bluing, action-bolts have flawless "straw" coloring. Has perfect mirror-bright bore and all-matching numbers, all markings clean with a magnificent lion-crest above chamber. Gorgeous Walnut stock has lovely original antique-furniture type finish with only a couple small dings and compressions from contact with adjacent rifles.  PHOTOS . . . $750.  C&R

Has perfect mirror-bright bore and all-matching numbers, all markings clean with a magnificent lion-crest above chamber. PORTUGUESE Model 1886 Kropatschek bolt-action infantry rifle # VV46 (8x60R Kropatschek) mfg. by Steyr in 1886.  Very Good condition with bright and strong bore. Metal has full bluing (turning brown from age on barrel and other parts) , bolt (and all bolt parts) mismatched (as usual). Completely functional with 8-shot tubular magazine and original cleaning-rod. Wood has original finish with bold 1886-dated Steyr cartouche on right side and royal cartouche of King Luis I (reigned 1861-1889) on left side, some of the inevitable handling-marks acquired over the past 120 years. SPANISH Model 1943 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # B7505 (8x57) mfg. at La Coruña in 1945. Excellent condition, with 95% bluing, some wear evident on triggerguard and magazine floorplate. All-matching numbers. Bore is strong but dark. Streaked walnut stock has only a few minor handling-marks, Diamond-shaped Civil-Guard cartouche on right side. Not import-marked. SWEDISH Model 96 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 123817 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1902 with straight-bolt and unthreaded muzzle.  Excellent condition, with full bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.50/2).  All matching numbers (except cleaning rod), rear sight is of the wheel (sniper) graduated from 100 to 800 meters, front sight has been slimmed. SWEDISH Model 96 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 398132 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1916 with straight-bolt and un threaded muzzle.  Near Excellent condition, with full bluing on all parts (triggerguard and magazine floorplate faded and browned from carry). Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.50/2).  All matching numbers (except rear sight, #289, with unnumbered cleaning rod). SWEDISH Model 38B Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # 619998 (6.5x55), mfg. by Husqvarna in 1941 with bent-bolt and threaded muzzle.  Excellent-PLUS condition, with 98% original bluing on all parts. Has a mirror-bright very strong bore (bore-disk indicating 6.50/1).  T-marked rear sight has 150 meter zero. All-matching stamped numbers.  Beech stock & handguard seems to have its original finish, with only a few handling-marks and scuffs. Includes unnumbered cleaning-rod and metal muzzle-cap. SWEDISH Model AG42B Ljungmann semiautomatic rifle # 14860 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1943. Near Excellent condition, with 80% bluing and strong mirror-bright bore (disk reads 6.49/2). Stock has some minor handling-marks from actual use, but is sound. PHOTOS . . . $725.   C&R  SOLD

SWISS Model 1889 Schmidt-Rubin straight-pull infantry rifle # 116521 (7.5x53.5 mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1893. Very Good condition with 80% fading original bluing. All-matching numbers (including magazine), virtually perfect mirror-bore. Walnut stock and handguard has original finish plus whatever minor handling-marks can be expected on a well cared-for 113 year-old rifle with original finish. A nice collectable example. SWISS Model 1911 Schmidt-Rubin infantry rifle # 401752 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1916. All-matching numbers including magazine.  Very Good condition with much faded original bluing and a near-perfect mirror-bore.  Walnut stock and handguard appears to have original finish with some of the expected handling-marks, top of stock (near buttplate) stamped ST. U.S.A. Model 1898 Krag-Jorgenson bolt-action infantry rifle # 396011 (.30 Government) mfg. by Springfield Armory in 1902. Near Excellent condition, with 80% bluing and a bright very strong bore.  Original military configuration with strong markings (including faint 1902-dated cartouche on wood). Walnut stock was likely sanded in the distant past, with some minor scrapes and handling-marks. PHOTOS . . . $850.    C&R    SOLD

U.S.A. Model M1 Garand "Tanker" semiautomatic rifle # 1552 (7.62 NATO) conversion mfg. by National Ordnance, Inc. in the mid-1980's.  New, UNISSUED with perfect uniform light-gray Parkerizing on metal and having a literally UNFIRED mirror-bore (TE of 1.5 with a tight muzzle). YUGOSLAVIAN Model 1959/66A1 SKS semiautomatic rifle # S-660845 (7.62x39) mfg. by Zastava in 1981.  Excellent Plus UNISSUED condition, still in arsenal grease with 100% bluing and all-matching numbers with integral grenade-launcher and night-sights.
