    CHINESE Model 56 SKS semiautomatic rifle # 8187427 (7.62x39) mfg. by Factory 26 (Jianshe) in 1964. Excellent or better condition, full bluing on metal with all matching serial numbers (87427) and a mirror-perfect chrome-lined bore. Blade-type folding bayonet is present. Wood has many minor scrapes, scratches and compressions from transportation, handguard is of the wooden type, no cleaning kit in butt.  PHOTO  . . . $625.        C&R     SOLD

    CHINESE Model 56 SKS semiautomatic rifle # 23106237K (7.62x39) mfg. by Factory 26 (Jianshe) in 1979. As NEW condition, test-fired only, with all matching serial numbers (06237) and a mirror-perfect chrome-lined bore. Cruciform spike folding bayonet is present, as is the correct web-sling.     DANISH M1 Garand rifle # PB 641 (.30-06) mfg. by Beretta in Italy in 1954.  Excellent-PLUS condition, receiver (marked with Danish crown over FKF at top rear) has nearly full light-gray Parkerizing, all parts (large and small) are of Beretta manufacture (PB-marked) including the barrel. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright (TE = 1.5, MW = 1.0).  Buttstock and handguards are walnut (stamped with serial number on both left side and bottom) with only a few of the expected handling-marks (mostly dimples from a small punch of some kind). Includes correct web sling with quick-detach buckle.  Very rare in the U.S.A., not import-marked, and worthy of the finest collection. PHOTO . . . $3200.    C&R    SOLD

    EGYPTIAN Model FN-49 Saive semiautomatic rifle # 15249 (8x57), mfg. in the mid-1950's by Fabrique National in Belgium. Near excellent overall with bold Crown crest above chamber and nearly full original Parkerized finish, action-cover serial number does not match receiver.  Excellent very bright bore, beech (?) stock has nice finish and a black plastic buttplate.  100% functional, these are getting to be VERY scarce.     EGYPTIAN Model FN-49 Saive semiautomatic rifle # 37384 (8x57), mfg. in the mid-1950's by Fabrique National in Belgium. Very Good overall condition with bold Crown crest above chamber and nearly full original enamel finish, action-cover serial number does not match receiver.  Excellent very bright bore  (with non-standard screw-on flash hider), walnut stock has many handling marks and several neat arsenal repairs and a brass buttplate.  100% functional, these are getting to be VERY scarce.     EGYPTIAN "Hakim" semiautomatic rifle # 50781 (8x57) mfg. by Maadi in 1969. Near Excellent condition, mostly full original blued finish with a mirror-bright very strong bore. Beech stock and handguard has many handling marks (mostly dings, scuffs and scratches) from actual use.     INDIAN Enfield No.2A bolt-action rifle # A35109 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by Ishapore Arsenal in 1965. Excellent condition, with painted enamel on metal. All matching serial numbers, bore is very bright and sharp. Stock has original finish with some contact marks, rear handguard has usual small dovetailed repair, "Ishie screw" present, another repair at heel of stock by buttplate.     SOVIET Model SVT-40 semiautomatic rifle # LI 6550 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Izhevsk in 1941.  Excellent condition, with around 99% bluing throughout.  An arsenal-rework with all-matching (electro-penciled) serial numbers except for unnumbered magazine.  Has 12-slot muzzle-break, no scope grooves in receiver, non-AVT stock. Bore is strong and somewhat bright with light pitting, wood has been refinished and stained a uniform black color, with an old arsenal repair (barely visible) and many small arsenal cartouches clear. Includes correct SVT-40 web sling. Reportedly a very good shooter. PHOTOS . . . $2540.   C&R

    U.S.A. Model 1884 Springfield trapdoor rifle # 465382 (.45-70) mfg. by Springfield Arsenal in 1889. Excellent-PLUS condition with full bluing and lovely case-colors on the lock.  Excellent mirror-bright bore. Walnut stock has a bold boxed SWP 1889 cartouche on left side.  A few dings and light scratches in the wood from handling. This rifle is fully functional and quite pretty. Not import-marked.     U.S.A. Model 1896 Krag-Jorgensen bolt-action infantry rifle # 66156 (.30-40 Krag) mfg. by Springfield Armory in June 1897. Near Excellent condition with most bluing intact on all metal parts, magazine "bulge" has thinning blue. Rifle has very strong and bright 4-groove bore.     U.S.A. Model of 1917 bolt-action infantry rifle # 1278462 (.30-06) mfg. by Eddystone in 1918 with an  E 11-18 dated barrel.  Excellent condition with 95% Parkerized finish on metal and a very strong and somewhat bright bore (TE = 2.0, MW = 1.25).  Stock has a few handling marks but is sound, with 3GM cartouche in rectangle on left side. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 2164625 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in November, 1943.  Excellent condition with full light gray Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, SA 2-55 replacement barrel has a mirror-bright and quite strong bore (TE = 2.0, MW = 0.5) and all correct SA-marked parts with relieved op-rod and lock-bar rear sight.     U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 3301182 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in November, 1944.  A mostly correct WWII rifle with original SA 11-44 barrel in Excellent-PLUS condition with full light gray Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, bore is mirror-bright and quite strong (TE = 2.5, MW = 2.5). Has all correct SA-marked parts (except HRA hammer) with lock-bar rear sights and relieved op-rod. Walnut stock lacks cartouche on left side and is in excellent condition with only a few dings on right side from adjacent rifles during storage.  Not import marked, really exceptional condition.  PHOTOS . . . $1950.     C&R     SOLD

    U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 3386157 (7.62 NATO) mfg. by Springfield Armory in January, 1945 with a commercial barrel stamped WA A 308.  Excellent-PLUS condition with full Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, bore is bright (TE = 2.0, MW = 1.0) with very strong rifling. Has block in magazine well so that longer .30-06 rounds cannot be accidentally inserted.  Features a mixture of parts (WRA trigger group, PB safety, IHC elevation knob, NM-marked op-rod, windage-knob & hooded rear sight) , stock is nearly pristine (likely after market).     U.S.A. Model M1D Garand SNIPER semiautomatic rifle # 2942304 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in June, 1944 without scope or mount.  Excellent condition with full light gray Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, M1D barrel (with scope attachment) is marked .30-06 MIKE'S GEI and has a mirror-bright and quite strong bore (TE = 1.0) with prong-type flash-hider and mostly correct SA-marked parts except for WRA hammer and NM-marked relieved operating rod. Walnut stock has no cartouche on left side and has beautiful grain with MRT 3-59 stamped leather cheek-rest and correct web sling with quick-disconnect latch. Not import marked. Model M1 Carbine semiautomatic rifle # 4142188 (.30 Carbine) mfg. by National Postal Meter in late 1943 with 9-43 Buffalo Arms barrel.  Near Excellent condition, metal has mostly full Parkerized finish with a mirror bright bore and with 4.0 muzzle-wear. Has flat-topped bolt, flip-type safety, M-marked magazine release, and late front band with bayonet-lug. M2 walnut stock and handguard has some handling marks, but is sound with no cracks. Model M1 Carbine semiautomatic rifle # 5345716 (.30 Carbine) mfg. by Inland in late 1944 with 7-44 Inland barrel.  Near Excellent condition, metal has mostly full Parkerized finish with a mirror bright bore and with 2.0 muzzle-wear. Has flat-topped bolt, flip-type safety, M-marked magazine release, and late front band with bayonet-lug. Walnut stock and handguard has some handling marks, with AAG cartouche on left side.
