Very Good condition, with much of the black enamel paint chipping over blued finish, some red enamel paint on right side. SPANISH Model "BUFALO" semiautomatic pistol # 14984 (7.65mm = .32 ACP) made by the Eibar firm Gabilando y Cia from 1919-1925. Very Good condition, a copy of the 1910 FN with about 70% finish throughout with an excellent, mirror-bright bore. Some graffitti lightly scratched on both sides of frame (including the name PINKEY). U.S.A. Model 1911 ARMY semiautomatic pistol # 82443 (.45 ACP), mfg. by Springfield Armory in 1915. Very Good condition, some porosity on side of frame from being "holstered wet". Barrel has an excellent bore and is mirror bright, slide has really well defined Springfield eagle and markings. Grips have double-diamond motif and are a bit worn (as can be expected after 105 years). Includes nice two-tone 7-round correct Springfield magazine. U.S.A. K-38 Target Masterpiece (pre-Model 14) revolver # 219209 (.38 Special) with 6" barrel, manufactured by Smith & Wesson in 1954. Very Good condition with 80% bluing, hammer and trigger have been jewelled. Bore is excellent and very bright, has a GREAT trigger (even in double-action mode). Has smooth wood target grips. Bore is mostly bright with very strong rifling. Bolt knob stamped 632 to match, stock force matched 632 on left side, stock has numerous handling marks and dings from actual service usage. AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action steutzer carbine # 6362A (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr (barrel dated 1918). Excellent-PLUS condition, arsenal refinished with full bluing. BRITISH Martini-Henry Mark II short-lever single-shot rifle, no serial number (.577/450) mfg. by British Small Arms in 1875. A "Zulu War" era rifle Good to Very Good condition with no external finish remaining and some encrustations, but markings very strong and clear. All original (not a Khyber-pass or copy from Nepal) and 100% functional with a mirror-bright bore that has very strong rifling. Rear sight is a leaf adjustable from 100-1200 yards. CHINESE Model "Zhongzheng" Mauser bolt-action short rifle # C890 (8x57) mfg. by Kung Hsien (Kunming), dated 1944. Good or so condition, bold markings above chamber, some light scattered rust on small parts. Barrel, receiver and triggerguard matching (both with small backwards swastikas), bolt not numbered, bore is dark and pitted, but usable. Stock is walnut with some handling marks from use, some non-critical wood loss at rear barrel-band (see photo), Chinese characters in yellow paint on right side, missing cleaning rod. CHINESE Type 53 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # 4024060 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Factory 26 in 1956. Very Good condition with 80% or better bluing on all metal parts. Magazine floorplate and buttplate serial number matches barrel, bolt does not (not unusual for these). Bore is extremely bright and strong. Excellent-PLUS condition with 98% bluing on all metal parts and mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Matching bolt-knob, numbers on magazine-floorplate not matching, buttplate scrubbed. Includes cleaning-rod. Two-piece wartime stock (rounded finger-joints) has crossed cannon cartouche on right side with a few minor handling-marks from transportation and storage. FINN Model 39 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 507396 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1943 by SAKO on a post-1898 receiver with SK.Y civil-guard marking. Excellent-PLUS condition with 99% or better bluing. Bolt-knob numbered 7396 (matching). Bore is extremely strong and mirror-bright (and NOT counterbored). Includes cleaning-rod. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 59183 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1943 by VKT on a 1912-dated Izhevsk receiver. Excellent-PLUS condition with full bluing. Bolt-knob stamped 9183 (matching), magazine floorplate and buttplate scrubbed (as usual). Bore is extremely bright and strong, includes cleaning-rod. Lovely figured postwar stock (squared finger joints) has a virtually no handling marks and is extremely attractive. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 43935 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1942 by Fabrique National on a ROUND RECEIVER. Excellent-PLUS, essentially UNISSUED condition with full original bluing (barrel has slight plum hue). Bolt-knob stamped 3935 (matching). Bore is excellent and mirror-bright, includes cleaning-rod. Postwar stock (squared finger joints) has one scuff on left side, else looks new. Includes Finnish arsenal-tag dated May 28, 1979. FRENCH Model 1866 Chassepot bolt-action needlefire rifle # P2082 (11mm linen cartridge) mfg. by St. Etienne in 1872. Very Good or better condition, external metal was never blued and shows patina attesting to its nearly 150 years of age. All matching serial numbers with prefix (P2082), bore is amazingly mirror-bright and very strong. Bolt retains its needlefire design (has not been converted to metallic cartridge) and is fully functional. GERMAN Model 98k bolt-action 8mm rifle # 9549s having DEATH-HEAD marking (totenkopf, with runic SS letters above) on left barrel-shank, made by Mauser Borsigwalde in 1940. A Russian-capture in excellent condition, many small parts electropenciled to match receiver (and left side of stock stamped) by the Russians. Has solid front barrel-band, stamped rear band, else all milled parts. Bore is bright and strong, import-marked on right side of barrel. JAPANESE Type 13 Murata bolt-action single-shot rifle # 40005 (11.15x60R Murata) mfg. by Tokyo Arsenal Small Arms Factory in 1883. Very Good condition with mostly browned surfaces on metal with some verdigris, very clear markings on receiver (including intact mum). Surprisingly Excellent mirror-bore with very sharp rifling. Bolt numbered 25618, remaining numbered parts match receiver (49005). Wood is in Very Good good condition and has some of the usual scuffs and dings, Japanese numerals 5 and 3 stamped on right side. JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 22, # 31446 (6.5x50) mfg. at Kokura in c.1936. Very Good condition with much original bluing remaining. Mum has been ground. This type has ladder-type rear sight with V-aperture and includes its cleaning rod. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action short rifle no Series # 81460 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in mid 1941. Excellent condition with all original bluing intact, bore is chrome-lined and mirror-bright. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 22 # 34754 (7.7x58) mfg. at Kokura in c.1942. Excellent condition with full original bluing, bolt and bolt parts numbered 754, mum has been ground. This type has fixed peep-type rear sight, mismatched action cover, no provision for monopod or cleaning rod. Forend is separate pieces held in place by barrel-bands. SOVIET Model 91/30 PU SNIPER Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # DG3789 (7.62x54R), barrel mfg. by Izhevsk in 1943. Excellent-PLUS rearsenaled condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Rifle itself has all-matching serial numbers (without prefixes), 1940-dated SVT scope (with clear optics) numbered 19033, different number (b15662) on side of scope mount, 68786 crossed-through on left side of barrel-shank. Stock has a real nice shellac finish. Includes sling and leather lens-caps. Was an ex-sniper that we sold back in 2014 that the customer had professionally restored with a genuine scope and mount he originally purchased from us in 2008. SPANISH Model 43 short rifle # B2570 (8x57mm) mfg. by La Coruna in 1945. Very similar to a 98k in appearance, but with an auxiliary bayonet-lug (like the Chilean & Argentine-type bayonet) and no sling-slot through wood. Very Good condition overall, would grade better but for some light areas of scattered rust. Bolt not numbered, all other numbered parts matching. Bore is mostly bright with very strong rifling. SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle # 196368 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1906 with straight-bolt and threaded muzzle. Near Excellent condition, with 90% or better original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore. SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle # 388170 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1916 with bent-bolt and and threaded muzzle (threads protected by metal screw-on cap). Excellent condition, with 95% or better original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (bore disk stamped 6.49/1). All visible serial numbered parts matching (except magazine floorplate, rear barrel-band and cleaning rod). Rear sight has been replaced by a peep sight and bolt has been bent down. SYRIAN Model 48A Mauser bolt-action short rifle # S2312 (8x57) mfg. at Zastava in 1948. Very Good or better condition, with 75% or better bluing with gorgeous Syrian crest above chamber.
