COLOMBIAN Model 47 bolt-action rifle # 1275-58 (.30-06), mfg. by Madsen in 1958. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 99% or better original black-painted finish, bore is mirror-perfect. Stock has only a few scuffs from handling and little apparent wear. MISSING magazine-floorplate and follower (with spring) as well as both sling-swivels, otherwise complete and ready to shoot. This was the last military bolt-action designed for general use (complete with very effective muzzle-break and recoil-pad), not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $525.   C&R   SOLD

CZECH Model vz52 semiautomatic rifle # G66556 (7.62x45) mfg. by CZ Brno in 1956. Excellent condition with most original Parkerized finish intact strong mirror-bright bore. Includes folding bayonet, dual-purpose front sight hood, and correct web sling.  Stock and handguard retain their original finish and are both un-cracked and excellent with only a few minor handling-marks. FINN Type 30 Arisaka bolt-action infantry rifle 302550 (6.5x50) mfg. at Koishikawa in c.1908. Very Good to Excellent condition with most original bluing intact despite its age, bore is strong but not very bright.  Mum has been overstruck with Koishikawa stacked-cannonball logo. No matching serial numbers, bolt has hook-safety. Stock appears to have its original finish with some cracks on bolt sides of tang and Finn Civil Guard district number S 108571 (Jyväskylä)  deeply stamped into right side, includes cleaning rod, not import-marked. FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 132052 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Tula in 1934 with [SA] Finn property-marking on left side of barrel-shank. Very Good condition, with 60% or so faded bluing on metal (less on triggerguard and magazine) and a strong and bright bore (has been counterbored at muzzle). Bolt-knob stamped 052 to match barrel, magazine floorplate has full number 132052, buttplate not matching. Includes short cleaning rod and leather swivels. PHOTOS . . . $175.    C&R   SOLD

FINN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action short rifle # G1057 (7.35 Carcano) mfg. by Terni in 1939. Overall an Excellent example, metal in excellent condition with full original bluing and a gorgeous, mirror-bright bore, fixed rear sight marked 7.35. Buttstock serial number matches receiver and bold circular arsenal cartouche on left side with few of the expected handling from a rifle that is 75 years old. Not import-marked, curiously the barrel-shank is also stamped PO above 1897 at top. PHOTOS . . . . $395.    C&R   

FINN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action short rifle # T1476 (7.35 Carcano) mfg. by Terni in 1939. Overall an Excellent example, metal in excellent condition with full original bluing and a gorgeous, mirror-bright bore, fixed rear sight marked 7.35. Buttstock serial number matches receiver with shiny finish and some of the expected handling marks from actual service use. Includes rare folding bayonet and correct leather sling, not importer marked.  PHOTOS . . . . $575.    C&R   

FRENCH Model 1949/56 MAS semiautomatic rifle # G61956 (7.5x54) manufactured at St. Etienne in c.1970. Excellent condition, with most Parkerizing intact, signs of wear only at high points and on corners. Has great bore. ITALIAN Model 1891 Mannlicher-Carcano cavalry bolt-action carbine # E6149 (6.5x52) mfg. by Terni in late 1936 (the XIV year of Mussolini) with folding spike-bayonet. Good to Very Good or better condition, bore is very bright and strong but not much external bluing remaining. Stock is numbered E6149 to match with some scuffs and dings but no cracks or anything major except buttplate is missing entirely. Bayonet is attached with unusual (but very effective) lever, Includes leather sling, not importer marked.  PHOTOS . . . $300.   C&R.  SOLD

ITALIAN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action short rifle # XC3961 (6.5x52) mfg. by FNA-Brescia in late 1940 (the XVIII year of Mussolini). Very Good or better condition, bore is very bright and strong, stock has been sanded and refinished (not matching) with a few minor scuffs and dings in the now-shiny finish but no cracks or anything major. JAPANESE "Peace" Type Arisaka bolt-action training rifle # A321, made from a Type 30 with Type 38 features and a smooth bore, Kanji atop chamber reads "Peace Type". Excellent condition with nearly full original bluing and strong markings. Bolt (and all bolt parts) numbered A321 to match. No cleaning rod., Wood has original finish with a few of the expected handling marks and a bold rectangular cartouche on left containing Kanji for uncertain "youth school". Not import-marked. JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action infantry rifle 24th Series, # 57365 (6.5x50) mfg. at Nagoya in early1938. Excellent condition with nearly full original bluing and bright and strong bore. Mum has been struck-through twice but is otherwise intact. Bolt numbered 365 to match, but other bolt parts mixed. Includes original cleaning rod, open V-type ladder rear sights, metal action-cover and what appears to be an original, supple Type 38 brown leather sling with rectangular brass buckle. JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action cavalry carbine # 619231 (6.5x50) mfg. at Mukden, Manchuria in mid 1930's. Very Good condition with much original bluing, bore is dark. Mum is intact. No numbered parts matching except on bayonet-lug. Includes ill-fitting (possibly a reproduction) cleaning rod, open V-type ladder rear carbine sights, missing rear action-bolt. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action short rifle no Series # 83325 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in mid 1941. Excellent condition with all original bluing intact, bore is chrome-lined and mirror-bright. Mum is intact, all matching numbers including all bolt parts, includes original cleaning rod and monopod, and retains its anti-aircraft rear sights. Wood is excellent, but has a .30 caliber bullet-strike on right side of barrel-band with later (post-capture) repair. Right side of stock has May 30, 1943 carved into side, with smaller and faint "May 30, 1943 / Jap sniper weapon" scratched transversely nearby. Likely captured at the battle of  Attu in the Aleutian Islands (which ended on that date). Not import-marked. PHOTO . . . $625.    C&R    SOLD

Excellent condition with nearly all original bluing intact, bore is chrome-lined and mirror-bright. Mum is intact. Has late cylindrical bolt with all parts numbered 857. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action short rifle Series 8, # 60804 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in mid 1944. Good condition with most original finish mottled and eroded, very little bluing remains. Bore is rough but rifling seems strong. Mum is intact. Has cyrindical bolt-handle with welded safety, bolt and all bolt parts numbered 804 to match receiver. No cleaning rod (never had one), forend of stock a separate piece held together by barrel-bands, buttplate is wooden. Some scratches in stock finish but is sound. Not import-marked. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action short rifle Series 20, # 38921 (7.7x58) mfg. at Kokura in late 1941. Excellent condition with all original bluing intact, bore is chrome-lined and mirror-bright. Mum has been neatly ground, bolt and safety matching, all other numbers mixed. Includes original cleaning rod, wood has its original finish. Not import-marked, very attractive. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action short rifle Series 35, # 45027 (7.7x58) mfg. at Toyo Kogyo in Early 1945. Very Good condition with most original bluing mottled and a bit eroded, bore is strong and mirror-bright. Mum is intact. Has plum-shaped bolt-handle with welded safety, bolt and safety numbered 670, remainder of parts mixed. No cleaning rod (never had one), forend of stock a separate piece held together by barrel-bands, buttplate is wooden. Left side of stock has been lightly painted with green camouflage paint (perhaps for sniping in the trees). Not import-marked. PHOTO . . . $425.    C&R  

RUSSIAN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 199032C (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 19??. Very Good original condition with 70-80% external bluing on all metal parts and a slightly rough bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). No matching numbers (buttplate has been renumbered to match), likely a Balkan (or Turkish) veteran with scrubbed Czarist eagles. Stock has quite a few dings and handling marks in finish, but is far from ugly. No cleaning rod. PHOTOS . . . $225.    C&R    

SOVIET Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # M356 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1941. Near Excellent condition, NOT a refurb with 90% bluing on all metal parts and a strong if not very bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). All numbered parts force-matched with 356 stamped on them. Includes cleaning rod. What is unusual about this rifle is M in the serial number on the barrel has a dash above it and is circled (not at all certain what this means). PHOTOS . . . $275.    C&R   

SOVIET Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # GH867 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1942. Good to Very Good original condition with little external bluing on all metal parts and a very bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Bolt  numbered GH867, buttplate and magazine floorplate not matching. Stock has quite a few dings and handling marks in finish, handguard has 6" lateral crack. Includes brown-leather sling. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand "tanker" semiautomatic rifle # 4243749 (.308 Winchester) mfg. by Springfield Armory in December, 1952 with commercial .308 barrel. Excellent condition with most Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, bore is quite nice (TE = 1.0, ME = 1.0). A cut-down Garand. Has nice walnut stock and handguards, includes strangely-mounted black leather sling. Not import marked, I have NOT test-fired this for function. PHOTOS . . . $950.     C&R   SOLD
