ARGENTINE Model 1891 Mauser bolt-action rifle # M9451 (7.65x54) mfg. by Ludwig Loewe in 1895. Excellent condition, with 95% or better bluing (with vivid fire-blue remaining on several small parts), national crest neatly removed (as usual) and short handguard. All matching serial numbers (including stock and cleaning rod), bore is excellent and bright with very strong rifling. ARGENTINE Model 1891 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # S3669 (7.65x54) mfg. by DWM in 1899. Excellent condition, with nearly 100% original bluing (with vivid fire-blue remaining on several small parts), national crest above chamber has been scrubbed (as usual). All parts numbered to receiver (including stock and cleaning-rod) but serial number on bolt handle has been ground off.. Bore is excellent and extremely bright with very strong rifling. Stock has original finish with some small dings and minor handling marks and a small dished-out area where the small cartouche of the Argentine crest was removed on the right side. Not import-marked. AUSTRALIAN No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # C14087 (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal in 1941. Excellent condition with most oil-blacked finish remaining. Matching serial numbers on all numbered parts, bore is mirror\bright and very strong. Buttstock and handguards show some handling marks from actual use, faint 1942-dated cartouches on right side. BRAZILIAN REBELLION Model vz24 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 4037 (7x57) mfg. by Brno in c.1930. Excellent condition with full bluing (turning brown on barrel bands and magazine floorplate from contact with sweaty hands). No serialized parts match, bolt has bent handle with flattened and checkered bolt knob. Bore is extremely bright with very strong rifling. Three-line Brno address above chamber, right side of receiver deeply stamped PM 06333.2 (Policia Militar with their new rack number). BRITISH Pattern 14 "Enfield" bolt-action rifle # 164941 (.303 British) mfg. by Remington in c.1915. Near Excellent condition with 90% or better Suncorite (black enamel) finish. Bore is strong and quite bright, bottom of forend stamped 164941 to match receiver, top of bolt handle electro penciled 164941 as well. Walnut stock has no finish with many handling-marks, hole on the right side for unit disk has been filled in with wood plug, small arsenal repair on right side by magazine., Front volley sight has been filled in with wood plug, but rear one is intact. BRITISH Model No.5 Mk.1 Enfield bolt-action "Jungle Carbine" # E7089 (.303 British) mfg. at Fazakerly in January, 1945. Very Good or better condition, with most finish intact on external metal. Bolt and forend stamped E7089 (matching). Has mirror-bright 5-groove bore and 3-marked bolt-head. Stock has some handling marks and scuffs from actual service use during WWII. Not import marked. BRITISH No.7 Mk.I Enfield bolt-action rifle # BS0863 (.22 Long Rifle) mfg. by Birmingham Small Arms in 1948. Excellent condition with nearly all black enamel finish remaining (a few minor areas chipping on barrel). Has matching numbered bolt, magazine and forend and the special magazine feeds 5 rounds. Shows some minor handling marks from actual use, but is extremely attractive. One of only 2,000 produced, very rare in the USA. PHOTOS . . . $3650. C&R
FINN Model 91 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 13378 (7.62x54R) mfg. by VKT in 1941. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 98% or so bluing and a mirror bright and strong bore. Matching bolt, buttplate and magazine floorplate not matching or scrubbed (as usual for these). Finn two-piece stock has some minor nicks and scrapes but is otherwise as new. GERMAN Gewehr 88/05 Commission bolt-action rifle # 2803i (8x57JS) mfg. by Danzig in 1890. Very Good condition, a Turkish refurb with full bluing and retaining its metal barrel-jacket, magazine altered in 1905 to utilize regular stripper-clip loading. No matching numbers (as usual). Barrel and receiver S-marked, bore is mirror-bright. Beech stock has no finish and is a little scuffed-up but sound. Rear sight remarked with Western numbers. Completely functional, I would not hesitate to shoot this (however I DO NOT recommend any firing military ammo in it, only modern U.S.-manufactured commercial loads in it rather than milsurp ammo). GERMAN Model Kar 98 bolt-action Mauser carbine # 5722s (8x57mm) mfg. by Erfurt in 1916. Very Good or better condition, most bluing remains (but was likely reblued at one time as numbers are blurry). Bolt numbered 5827 (NOT matching), Front and rear sights stamped 22 (matching), barrel bands stamped 73. Nice strong and somewhat bright bore. Buttstock is original beech with expected handling marks from actual use and a small crack on right side near recoil lug. Includes stacking-hook. Not import marked. PHOTOS . . . $725. C&R SOLD
ITALIAN Model 91 Mannlicher-Carcano Truppi-Speciale bolt-action carbine # AR3893 (6.5x52 Carcano) mfg. by Terni in 1917. Excellent condition with 95% or better bluing. Shiny and very strong bore, buttstock has been lightly sanded but numbers match. ITALIAN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action cavalry carbine with folding bayonet # Q6809 (6.5x52) mfg. by Gardone in 1940 (year 18 of Mussolini). Excellent condition, with full bluing on all metal, bore is mirror-bright and very strong. Beech stock is not matching. Excellent condition with 95% or better remaining bluing, bore is strong and mostly bright, has been NOT counterbored at muzzle. A totally original example, with all numbered parts stamped 1039557. Includes cleaning-rod. Russian one-piece stock has bold round ENGLISH CONTRACT cartouche on left side (in Russian). Wood has very few handling marks for its age. SPANISH Model 1893 long rifle # M2321 (7x57mm) made by Oviedo in 1928. Excellent condition, with 96% or better original blued finish. Bolt numbered M2321 (matching), other numbered parts do not match. Bore is very bright and strong. SPANISH Model 1916 bolt-action short rifle # O1295 (7x57) mfg. by Oviedo in 1926 with "roller-coaster" type tangent rear sight. Excellent condition with no appreciable wear. All numbered parts (including bolt and stock) numbered 1295 (matching). Has a somewhat frosted but bright bore, stock has very few handling marks. Not import marked, very unusual. PHOTOS . . . $575. SPANISH Model 43 short rifle # W1588 (8x57mm) mfg. by La Coruna in c.1945 (top of receiver has Fascist crest). Very similar to a 98k in appearance, but with an auxiliary bayonet-lug (like the Chilean & Argentine-type bayonet) and no sling-slot through wood. Excellent condition overall. Bolt numbered 1588 (matching), all other numbered parts also matching. Bore is very bright with very strong rifling. Stock has some light handling-marks. SWISS Model K-11 Schmidt-Rubin short rifle # 32204 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1914 (first year of issue) and purchased out of service in 1934. Very Good to Excellent condition with 80% or so original bluing (a few patches of verdigris) and a perfect, mirror bore. All-matching serial numbers including 6-round magazine. Bolt not matching (but is correct turned-down type with flattened bottom of knob). Bore is extremely bright and strong, completely functional. VENEZUELAN Model 24/30 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 6977 (7x57) mfg. by Fabrique National in the mid-1930's with correct "long export" bayonet and scabbard. Excellent PLUS condition, with 99+% original factory bluing, receiver in the white (as is proper) with bold crest above chamber. Bore mirror-perfect, all-matching numbers with cleaning-rod. Has milled magazine-follower and flat milled buttplate. Wood has some minor scuffs and dings from storage. Bayonet not matching rifle (#25334) but is also in Excellent condition. Not import-marked.
