AUSTRALIAN No.1 Mk.III* SMLE bolt-action rifle # S2906 (.303 British), a "peddled scheme" rifle mfg. by Standard Small Arms in 1916 with Australian Department of Defense property marks on top of receiver. Good to Very Good external condition with much oil-blacked finish remaining on external metal. Bore is very bright and strong, bolt not numbered, nose cap matching, rear sight does not. Retains windage-adjustable rear sight. Stock has a great deal of dings, gouges, scratches (you name it), the fore-stock has a crack on the left side that will not interfere with shooting. AUSTRALIAN No.1 Mk.III* SMLE bolt-action rifle # F7368 (.303 British), mfg. by Enfield in 1917 with Australian Department of Defense property marks on top of receiver. Very Good condition with much oil-blacked finish on external metal (some of it browned after 103 years). Bore is not very bright but has strong rifling. Bolt matches receiver, other parts (rear sight & nose-cap) not numbered. Stock has been sanded and looks real nice with no cracks, traces of Australian cartouches evident on right side. BRITISH No.1 Mk.III SMLE bolt-action rifle # W9643 (.303 British), mfg. by Birmingham Small Arms in 1916. Externally Good or better condition with very little oil-blacked finish remaining, traces of brown protective enamel on metal. Bore is very bright and strong, bolt renumbered on top of bolt handle 9643 (matching), all other numbered parts match receiver. Retains windage-adjustable rear sight. BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.1 Enfield bolt-action rifle # BT15023 (.303 British) mfg. at Maltby in 1942 .Very Good condition, about 50% original finish remaining on all metal parts with an excellent mirror-bright bore and a 4-groove barrel. Bolt is matching with 0-marked bolt head. Rear sight is the stamped ladder variety. Stock has a few handling marks, with "Ishie screw" through forend, arsenal repair at toe. U.S.A. Model 1884 Springfield trapdoor rifle # 491938 (.45-70) mfg. by Springfield Arsenal in 1890 with visible 1890 dated stock cartouche. Around Very Good condition with external metal turning gray and brown, with some scattered encrustations (especially on the cleaning rod). Bore is bright and extremely strong (appears this rifle was carried much but fired very little). U.S.A. Model 1898 Krag-Jorgensen bolt-action infantry rifle # 319976 (.30-40 Krag) mfg. by Springfield Armory in April, 1901. Excellent condition with full bluing on all metal parts except bolt. Has very strong and mirror-bright 4-groove bore. Walnut stock has original finish exhibiting the usual handling marks acquired over the past 118 years with bold boxed JSA 1901 cartouche on left side, slight crack on right side near butt caused by over-tightened buttplate screw (not an issue). U.S.A. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 960668 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in 1919 (high-number) with SA 4-42 replacement barrel. Very Good or better condition with most Parkerizing intact. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright (TE = 1.0, MW = 2.0). Buttstock and handguard has original finish, with many dings and handling marks to prove it, arsenal-repaired thin crack at tang (very stable and not an issue). U.S.A. Model 1903 Mark I Springfield bolt-action rifle # 1076992 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in 1919. Excellent-PLUS condition with 98% gray Parkerizing on all metal. A decent example with bright and strong original 12-18 dated SA four-groove barrel. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright (TE = 2.0, MW = 2.0). Has nice scant walnut stock with some minor dings and handling marks, 6992 stamped on right side. Not import-marked, with new Model 1905 leather sling (likely a repro). A lovely example. U.S.A. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 3188924 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in 1942 with HS 5-44 dated replacement barrel (by High Standard). Very Good or so condition with all external Parkerized surfaces remaining, bore is extremely strong and mirror-bright (TE =3.0, ME = 2.0). Walnut stock has seen much use (and likely abuse) but no cracks of other problems. many original SHARP cartouches and looks original, but there is an easily-repaired 4-5" lengthwise hairline crack on the right side by receiver that would not affect function. U.S.A. Model 03-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 3758563 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in 1943. Excellent-PLUS condition with 100% gray Parkerizing on all metal. A gorgeous example with near-perfect RA / 7-44 dated 2-groove bore (TE=1.0, MW = 0.0). Beautiful walnut stock and handguards have almost zero handling marks with RA and ordnance-wheel cartouches on left side. Includes original worn Model 1905 leather sling with brass fittings. Very Good or better condition with light gray Parkerized finish showing some minor wear. Bore is quite nice and mirror-bright (TE = 2.0, MW = 3.0). A postwar rework Garand with mostly postwar SA-marked parts. New Boyd walnut stock and handguard has zero handling marks with a CMP eagle cartouche. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 765281 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in August, 1942 with replacement SA 1-51 dated barrel. Excellent condition with full greenish-gray Parkerized finish on all metal, bore is quite nice (TE = 3.0, MW = 2.25). A post-WWII rebuild Garand with mostly prewar parts and modified op-rod, trigger-group is all IHC-marked. Has walnut stock with very faint uncertain cartouche with usual handling marks, number 68 stenciled on right side, 68 also painted on top of both bolt and left side if birch rear handguard (a walnut rear handguard, matching in color the rest of this rifle, is included). U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 814716 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in September, 1942 with original SA 8-42 dated barrel. Excellent condition with full light gray Parkerized finish on all metal, bore is worn but bright (TE = 3.5, MW = 4.0). A Garand with mostly all WWII-era parts (IHC marked hammer) with relieved op-rod. Has nice walnut stock with a few digs and dings from adjacent rifles during storage, large S.A. over M boxed cartouche on left side (indicating stock reworked in early 1950's for use with M1C & M1D sniper rifles). This is a Vietnam-era Rock Island Arsenal rework in Excellent condition with full Parkerized finish remaining on all metal. Bore is very bright (TE = 2.0, MW = 1.0) with very strong rifling. Features mostly SA-marked replacement parts with the exception of WRA bolt (likely original to this rifle) and IHC-marked hammer. Walnut stock and handguards has very few handling marks with small RIA stamp on left side. Includes new condition Model 1905 leather sling. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 5840438 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in March, 1954 with original SA 2-55 barrel. Excellent-PLUS condition with full dark gray Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, bore is mirror-bright and quite strong (TE = 2.0, MW = 1.0). All original postwar SA-marked parts as issued. New Boyd walnut stock and handguard has zero handling marks with a CMP eagle cartouche and correct web sling. Not import-marked, a CMP Special Grade rifle whose paperwork has been misplaced. Excellent condition with full Parkerized finish remaining on all metal and having an excellent bore with "Postage Stamp" type receiver markings, bore is mirror bright (TE = 3.25, MW = 2.0) with very strong rifling. U.S.A. Model 10-R pump-action "Trench" shotgun # U164436 (12 Gauge, 2 3/4" shells, Cylinder bore), mfg. by Remington in c.1918 with 20" barrel, bottom eject. U.S.A. Model 12 U.S. marked semiautomatic shotgun # 87369 (12 Gauge, 2 3/4" shells, Cylinder bore), mfg. by Remington in 1910. Excellent condition, with full blued surfaces. Has been specially fitted with a Cutts compensator at the muzzle and rubber Pachmayer buttpad. Top of barrel & left side of receiver stamped U.S. with flaming bomb.
