AUSTRALIAN SMLE No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # B43061 (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow in 1940. Near Excellent condition with 90% or better oil-blacked finish. January 1941 dated barrel with very bright and strong bore. Bolt handle, rear sight and nose-cap stamped B43061 to match receiver. Walnut stock and handguards has many dings and scrapes but is sound, right side has 1941 dated Lithgow cartouches. Rear handguard has not been shortened and has no repairs. PHOTOS . . . $875. AUSTRALIAN SMLE No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action CUTAWAY rifle # 1038 (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow in c.1912. Excellent condition with 95% or better oil-blacked finish. June 1944 dated shortened barrel. Parts cut away for training, bolt handle stamped 1038 to match receiver. Has intact rear volley sight and magazine cut-off. Walnut buttstock has 4/21 dated cartouche as well as unit markings. BRITISH Model L.E.C. Mk.I* Lee Enfield bolt-action carbine # 9535A (.303 British) mfg. at Enfield in 1900 under Queen Victoria. Near Excellent condition, with most metal finish intact. No matching serial numbers, has a very bright 4-groove bore and intact magazine cut-off and proper five-round magazine. Handguard is missing (as usual), right side of butt has round Birmingham 1902 cartouche, with brass unit disk stamped R.I.C. (for Royal Irish Constabulary). `Not import marked. PHOTOS . . . $1150. BRITISH SMLE No.1 Mk.III bolt-action rifle # U14638 (.303 British) mfg. by Birmingham Small Arms in 1908. Very Good condition with 60% or better oil-blacked finish. Has intact volley sights and magazine cut-off and windage-adjustable rear sight. Nose-cap stamped U14638 to match receiver, rear sight and bolt handle mismatched. Bore is dark and rough from us with corrosive ammunition but will possibly "shoot clean". Walnut stock and handguard have many dings and scrapes, rear handguard has not been shortened. BRITISH Enfield Sht '22 Mk.IV* bolt-action single-shot training rifle # A67454 (.22 Long Rifle) mfg. by Birmingham Small Arms in 1913, converted in 1935 with new .22LR barrel. Excellent condition, with full remaining oil-blacked finish and a mirror bright bore. No matching serial numbers (not uncommon for these, as they were converted from No.1 Mk.III rifles). Has replacement 1942-dated barrel with mirror bright and strong bore. Bolt handle and nose-cap stamped X60301 to match receiver, rear sight force-matched. Top of barrel-flat stamped with eagle surrounded by ÖSTER GENDARMIE (Austrian police). BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.1* Enfield bolt-action rifle # 0C04672 (.303 British) mfg. at Savage in 1942 Excellent condition, full external finish remaining on metal and has an excellent mirror-bright bore with a 2-groove barrel. Rifle is US PROPERTY marked, all parts Savage marked (including unnumbered magazine). All serial numbers matching (including magazine) with 3-marked bolt head. BRITISH Enfield No.4 (T) SNIPER bolt-action rifle # T33867 (.303 British) mfg. by BSA Shirley arsenal in 1945, with original No.32 Mk.3 scope and wooden transit-case. A Genuine WWII-era sniper rifle in Near Excellent condition, with nearly full stoving finish on all major parts and a very bright and strong bore. Nice original walnut buttstock (with added wooden cheek-piece), forend and bolt handle numbered to rifle, butt stamped S51 (Holland & Holland), top of butt stamped 22466 (not matching number on scope). Stock has some moderate handling marks, includes proper leather sling. Scope has quite clear optics with metal case, pine transit-case is intact and sound. Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $5750. Excellent condition, with 95% painted finish (stoving) on external metal. All matching serial numbers on every numbered part, has mirror-bright 4-groove bore and 1-marked bolt-head. CANADIAN Model No.4 Mk.1* Enfield bolt-action rifle # 83L8752 (.303 British) mfg. at Long Branch in 1945. Excellent condition, with 95% painted finish (stoving) on external metal. All matching serial numbers on every numbered part, has mirror-bright 4-groove bore and 0-marked bolt-head. Rear sight is of the stamped ladder type. Stock has some minor scrapes and dings from handling, but otherwise looks as new, arrow inside C cartouche of the CANADIAN ARMY on bottom of both butt and forend. INDIAN Enfield No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # 30773E (.303 British) mfg. by Ishapore Arsenal in 1940. Near Excellent condition, with most oil-blacked metal surfaces, some wear on magazine. INDIAN Enfield No.2A1 bolt-action rifle # U6869 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by Ishapore Arsenal in 1967. Excellent condition, with full black enamel (stoving) finish on metal. All matching serial numbers, bore is mirror-bright and sharp. Stock has really nice finish with some light contact marks, rear handguard has small dovetailed repair, "Ishie screw" present.
