BRITISH SHTLE COND IV* bolt-action rifle # 7339 (.303 British) mfg. by Enfield in 1896 as a Long Lee LE I and reconfigured to SMLE specifications by Enfield in April 1907. Very Good condition with 60% oil-blacked finish. Bore is a bit dark with strong rifling. Bolt handle stamped A37873, rear sight and and nose-cap stamped 7339 to match receiver. Walnut stock has expected handling marks with forward volley sight intact, buttstock has unit-marked brass Mk. I buttplate. Includes very worn web sling with Afghan-style beaded decoration attached. BRITISH SMLE No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # L2903 (.303 British) mfg. by Enfield in 1917. Near Excellent condition with 85% or better oil-blacked finish. Bore is strong and quite bright, Bolt handle and nose-cap stamped L2903 to match receiver. Top of barrel-flat stamped with eagle surrounded by ÖSTER GENDARMIE (Austrian police). BRITISH SMLE No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # I24723 (.303 British) mfg. by British Small Arms in 1918. Excellent condition with 95% or better oil-blacked finish. Bore is mirror bright and strong (original `18 dated barrel), Bolt handle, rear sight and nose-cap stamped I24723 to match receiver. Walnut stock was refinished after adding 1" extension to read, silver 1964-dated U.S. quarter inserted in unit-disk cut-out on right side. Bore is strong and quite bright, Bolt handle, bottom of magazine and nose-cap stamped 53180 to match receiver, has undergone Factory Thorough Repair after WWII. BRITISH SMLE No.1 Mk.3* bolt-action rifle # 92545J (.303 British) mfg. by Ishapore in 1948 with detachable cup-type grenade-launcher. Very Good or better condition, with most remaining painted enamel finish (some of it flaking and the underlying metal turning brown) and a surprisingly mirror-bright 4-groove bore. Has all-matching serial numbers, soldered wire-wrapped forend reinforced with a bolt in front of magazine-well. Wood has some scrapes and contact marks from other rifles, with a dovetailed arsenal repair at heel and toe and on the bottom behind the sling swivel. Near Excellent condition, with 90% bluing on external metal, magazine and front sight guards oxidized from contact with sweaty hands while in service. Bolt numbered AU16574 (matching). Has mirror-bright 2-groove bore and 1-marked bolt-head. rear shigh is of the L-shaped flip type. Stock has some of the expected dings, nicks and handling marks. Near Excellent condition, with 90% painted finish on external metal, magazine oxidized from contact with sweaty hands while in service. Bolt and magazine numbered 76L6653 (matching). Near Excellent condition, with 80% bluing on external metal, wear on at edges and corners. Bolt numbered PF313844 (matching). Has mirror-bright 4-groove bore and 1-marked bolt-head. Stock has some of the expected dings, nicks and handling marks. Includes No.9 blade bayonet and scabbard in good condition (not matching) with 1945-dated tan web sling. Not import marked. CHINESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action carbine # 1139928 (rechambered to 7.62x39) mfg. at Nagoya in c.1920. Excellent condition with full bluing on all major metal parts. Mum has been ground, bore is extremely bright and strong. No matching serial numbers (these were originally matched by assembly numbers instead of serial numbers anyway), Chinese assembly number 22 stamped on both upper and lower tangs as well as trigger guard. Missing cleaning rod, walnut stock and handguard has original finish with scrapes, dings and other handling marks, oval brand of Chinese character for "people" between two stars on right side near buttplate. DUTCH Model 1895 Constabulary bolt-action Mannlicher carbine # 0408 (6.5x53R) mfg. by Hembrug in 1921 with bottom sling swivels and no handguard (as issued). Excellent condition, with 95% or better bluing throughout. No matching serial numbered parts. Bore is strong and quite bright. Stock is walnut. Not import-marked, extremely attractive. FINN Model 91 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 3241 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1907 with [SA] Finn property mark on left side of barrel shank. Near Excellent condition with all bluing remaining. Bolt body knob stamped 3241 (matching). Bore is excellent and quite bright (is counterbored at muzzle to increase accuracy). SWEDISH Model 96/38 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 199456 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1906 with straight bolt and non-threaded muzzle. Excellent condition, about 95% external bluing. Has mirror-bright and strong bore (disk stamped 6.49/0), all visible parts serial numbered 456 (unnumbered cleaning rod). Rear sight has VÄSTERÅS wheel-type insert.
