Bolt is matching, bottom of magazine restamped 11993, forend of stock stamped 1993. Has 2-marked bolt-head, rear sight is the stamped ladder type. BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.1/2 Enfield bolt-action rifle # AY16940 (.303 British) mfg. by Maltby in 1943 and refurbished to the Mk.1/2 configuration at Fazakerly in 1951. Excellent condition, with full enameled surfaces and an excellent mirror-bright 4-groove bore. All matching serial numbers, has 1-marked bolt-head, rear sight is milled ladder type. Excellent condition, with full Parkerized surfaces and an excellent mirror-bright 2-groove bore. Bolt and bottom of magazine is matching (no other parts numbered) with 1-marked bolt-head, all parts marked with square-S (for Savage). US PROPERTY marked on receiver, rear sight is the L-shaped flip type. Wood has some dings but no sign of wear, with sharply grooved rear handguard and correct 1944-dated web sling. Very attractive. BRITISH Shortened Model No.4 Mk.1 Enfield bolt-action rifle # Q31353 (.303 British) mfg. by B.S.A. Shirley in 1944. Excellent condition, with full enameled metal surfaces and an excellent mirror-bright 4-groove bore. Barrel has been shortened to exactly 17 1/2" (don't know why, possibly for hunting) but otherwise looks stock. Bolt matches receiver, no other parts numbered. BRITISH Model No.5 Mk.1 Enfield bolt-action "Jungle Carbine" # U6491 (.303 British) mfg. at Fazakerly in January, 1946. Excellent condition, with most black enamel "stoving" finish intact on external metal. Only buttstock is stamped U6491, remainder of numbered parts no matching. FINN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action short rifle # K9600 (7.35x53 Carcano) mfg. by Terni in 1939 with [SA] Finn marking on left side of barrel-shank. Good to Very Good condition with 30% original bluing on upper metal, magazine shows MUCH LESS wear (bluing 90+%). Bore is very bright and strong. Near Excellent condition with 80-90% bluing and bold markings. Slightly grainy but strong bore, left side of barrel has crossed rifles accuracy marking. Buttstock numbers faint but match, has FAG 39 refurbishment cartouche and thick brown stain. JAPANESE Type 44 Arisaka bolt-action cavalry carbine with folding spike-bayonet, 1st variation, Series 1, # 15815 (6.5x50) mfg. at Kokura in c.1912. Excellent-PLUS condition with full bluing on all major metal parts (smaller parts have intact "straw" color), very slight wear on magazine floorplate from carrying. Has ground mum, with all matching numbers on all serial-numbered parts. Bore is mirror-perfect, includes jag tip and two segments of cleaning rod stored in butt of stock. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action long rifle Series 35, # 13561 (7.7x58) mfg. at Toyo Kogyo from June 1940 to March 1941. Excellent condition with full original bluing, all visible serialized parts numbered 276 (matching assembly-number stamped at bottom of action), mum ground but still partly visible. This type has ladder rear sight with anti-aircraft wings, a provision for monopod (which is missing) and a plum-shaped bolt handle with checkered safety knob. Includes cleaning rod, wood has original finish and has never been sanded with few of the usual heavy handling marks. Chrome-lined bore is mirror-bright and very strong. Excellent condition with full original bluing, bolt and bolt parts numbered 910 (not matching), intact mum. This type has fixed peep rear sight and inverted V front sight, no provision for cleaning rod, bore is not chrome-lined but is very bright with strong rifling. Excellent condition with full original bluing, bolt and all bolt parts numbered 737 (not matching). Mum heavily ground, no cleaning rod (nor is there a provision for one). This type has plum bolt-handle, fixed peep rear sight, two piece stock with separate forend (held in place by barrel-bands) and wooden buttplate. Stock has original finish with a few minor dings. JAPANESE Arisaka bolt-action TRAINING rifle # 342 (smoothbore), originally a Type 30 rifle with some Type 38 features. Very Good condition with most original bluing remaining. Has 5-pointed STAR above chamber, 342 on left side of receiver and triggerguard, (bolt not numbered). No cleaning rod, wood has original finish with many scuffs and dings.
