    AUSTRALIAN No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # U2759 (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal in 1942. Near Excellent condition with most oil-blacked finish remaining. All matching serial numbers on all numbered parts, bore is quite bright and very strong. Buttstock and handguards show some handling marks from actual use.     AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action carbine # 1362R (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr in 1916. Excellent condition, arsenal refinished with 100% or better bluing. Bore is very dark and rough (from firing corrosive ammo without properly cleaning afterwards). Will still shoot good, just will take more time to clean. Top of bolt-knob stamped 1362 (matching).  Stock has the usual scuffs and other usual handling-marks, handguard has had long crack repaired at the arsenal in a novel fashion (see pix).     AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action carbine # 3839X (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr in 1919. Excellent condition, arsenal refinished with 100% or better bluing. Bore is mirror bright and very strong. Top of bolt-knob, back of triggerguard, and left side of stock all stamped 3839 (matching). Stock has minor dings and other handling-marks.     BRITISH Lee Enfield Mark I* bolt-action rifle # 3756A (.303 British) mfg. by Enfield in 1896 with cypher of Queen Victoria. Very Good or better condition with around 80% external bluing and a very bright and strong bore. Top of bolt handle stamped 3756 (matching), missing sliding dust-cover, front volley sight on left side intact, rear volley sight has been removed and an aperture sight has been added (can be easily restored to original). Magazine cut-off is intact (and functional).  Stock is sound with some handling marks but original finish, buttplate stamped with New Zealand unit number NZ / 4524 and dated 1901, right side of stock stamped HG / MA14 Barrel has been shortened to 25", with a marble-type front sight professionally added.  PHOTOS . . . $650.    Antique, no FFL needed     SOLD

    BRITISH Sht LE No.1 bolt-action rifle # 477 (.303 British) mfg. by London Small Arms in 1902 with crown of Edward VII, LEE-SPEED PATENTS on right side of barrel-shank.   Very likely a "Khyber Pass" fabrication that resembles a legitimate Enfield.  Full bluing with a somewhat bright and strong 23" bore and intact and functional front and rear volley-sights.     BRITISH Sht LE No.1 Mk. I bolt-action rifle (importer) # TB0197 (.303 British) mfg. by British Small Arms in c.1902 with crown of Edward VII but dated 1898 which is WRONG (since Edward VII didn't succeed Victoria until 1901). This rifle has stripper-clip guide atop receiver and advanced rear sight.  This is likely a "Khyber Pass" fabrication that resembles a legitimate Enfield.  Full bluing with a somewhat bright and strong 22.5" bore and intact and functional front and rear volley-sights.     BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.1 Enfield bolt-action rifle # R27036A (.303 British) mfg. by Maltby in 1942. Excellent condition, with full enameled surfaces and an excellent mirror-bright 2-groove bore.  Bolt, bottom of magazine and forend of stock stamped R27036A (matching).  Has 1-marked bolt-head, rear sight is the milled ladder type. BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.1* Enfield bolt-action rifle # 57C1013 (.303 British) mfg. by Savage-Stevens in 1943. Very Good condition, with slightly browned Parkerized surfaces and an excellent mirror-bright 2-groove bore.  Bolt is matching (no other parts numbered) with 2-marked bolt-head, all parts marked with square-S (for Savage).  US PROPERTY marked on receiver, rear sight is the L-shaped flip type.     BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.2 Lee-Enfield bolt-action rifle # PF323953 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in March 1954.   Near Excellent condition, an all-original rifle with over 90% original painted finish, bolt, forend and bottom of magazine stamped PF323953 (matching).  Has a gorgeous mirror 4-groove bore with 2-marked bolt-head, rear sight is of the milled ladder type.  Beech stock and handguards has some dings and scratches from actual use.     CHINESE Type 53 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # 1325809 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Factory 296 in January 1955.  Very Good or better condition with 90% bluing on all metal parts, bore is excellent and mirror bright.     GERMAN Model Gewehr 88 bolt-action Commission rifle # 2814d (8x57JS) mfg. by Spandau in 1891. Good to Very Good condition, with 50% thinning and browning bluing. Bolt mismatched (but complete), unit marking E. 21. 135 on left side of front barrel band. Quite bright bore (marked with S) with strong rifling.  Includes cleaning rod, walnut stock has clear Imperial cartouches with quite a few rough handling marks but was never sanded.     GERMAN Gewehr 88/05 Commission bolt-action rifle # 5222c (8x57JS) mfg. by Loewe in 1891. Excellent condition, a Turkish refurb with full remaining bluing and retaining its metal barrel-jacket, magazine altered in 1905 to utilize regular stripper-clip loading. No matching numbers (as usual). Barrel and receiver S-marked, bore is mirror-bright. Walnut stock was sanded long ago and is a little scuffed-up but sound.  Rear sight graduated with Western numbers. Completely functional, I would not hesitate to shoot this (however I DO NOT recommend any firing military ammo in it, only modern U.S.-manufactured commercial loads in it rather than milsurp ammo).     GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 70745 (8x57mm) mfg. by Brno (code dot 44) in 1944.  A Russian reworked rifle in Excellent condition, with full rebluing.  Small Nazi eagles with swastikas intact on barrel and receiver. Has all-milled parts electro-penciled 70745 to match receiver. The bore is excellent and mirror-bright.     HUNGARIAN Model 44 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # BK2127 (7.62x54R) mfg. at Budapest in 1953.  Excellent-PLUS condition with perfect bluing and excellent bright bore (has NOT been counterbored). All-matching serial numbers as-issued, all parts 02-marked, a few minor scrapes and scratches on nice Beech buttstock from handling and storage. Includes cleaning rod and correct web sling.     INDIAN  No.4 Mk.I* Enfield rifle # O5664 (.303 British) mfg. by Ishapore in 1963. Near Excellent condition, bore is mirror-bright and extremely strong. Mismatched bolt, forend of stock numbered 05664 (matching) has Ishapore screw through forend. Short-marked butt has numeral 184 painted on the left side in the Indian manner.     JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 34, # 44567 (7.7x58) mfg. at Toyo Kogyo in July - September 1944. Excellent condition with full original bluing, bolt not matching, neither is sliding metal action-cover.  Mum is intact! this type has ladder rear sight without anti-aircraft wings, no provision for monopod, and plum-shaped bolt handle with checkered safety knob. Includes cleaning rod, wood has original finish and has never been sanded with only a couple handling marks.     PAKISTANI Model No.4 Mk.2 Enfield bolt-action rifle # C07958 (.303 British) mfg. by Pakistan Ordnance Factory (POF) in 1958. Excellent condition, with full oil-blacked finish on the metal. Very little actual wear, all-matching serial numbers, with a mirror-perfect 5-groove bore and a 0-marked bolt-head. Wood has some handling-marks and storage-dings as well as rack-numbers stamped in the left side and a reinforcing screw in left forend.     PAKISTANI Model No.5 Mk.1 Enfield bolt-action "Jungle Carbine" # M8787 (.303 British) mfg. at Fazakerly in May 1945, having undergone Factory Thorough Repair (F.T.R.) by Pakistani Ordnance Factory (P.O.F.). Excellent condition, with 95% enamel finish. Bolt mismatched, but forend numbered M8787 to match receiver, magazine not numbered.     ROMANIAN Model vz24 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # HR23129 (8x57mm) mfg. by CZ in c.1938.  Excellent arsenal refurbished condition with a very sharp bright bore. Romanian crest above chamber has been scrubbed (as usual). Bluing is 95% or better, bolt handle electro-penciled to match, stock restamped to match.  Walnut stock looks new, handguard has had several arsenal repairs.     ROMANIAN Model vz24 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # BR6982 (8x57mm) mfg. by CZ in 1939.  Excellent arsenal-refurbished condition with a very sharp bright bore. Large 1939 date stamped above chamber. Bluing is 95% or better, matching serial numbers (top flat of bolt-handle stamped 6982, stock-disc also stamped 6982).  Walnut stock has a few compressions, else as new.
