ARGENTINE Model 1891 Mauser bolt-action cavalry carbine # A6240 (7.65x53) mfg. by Loewe in 1892.  Excellent condition, with 98% strong bluing on all parts. Crest above chamber a bit weak, all-matching numbers (except buttstock), bore is strong and mirror-bright. Walnut stock and handguard has a few handling-marks, bottom of stock has been arsenal-repaired. PHOTOS . . . $375.     Antique, no FFL required    SOLD

BRITISH Pattern 14 "Enfield" bolt-action rifle # 121119 (.303 British) mfg. by Eddystone in c.1915. Excellent condition with 95% or better Parkerized finish, bolt stamped on bottom of handle to match receiver.  Bore is strong but not too bright. Wood has very few handling-marks, with a very bold cartouche on right side.  Volley sights have been removed (as usual), but stock is intact and has not been refinished.  Not import-marked, a very attractive example. CZECH Model vz52 semiautomatic rifle # E32453 (7.62x45) mfg. by CZ in 1956. An Excellent-PLUS original example, with full parkerized finish and a mirror-bright bore. All-matching numbers (op-rod numbered to match) with front sight hood intact.  Highly figured myrtle wood stock has original finish and is quite attractive. Includes one 10-round magazine and correct sling. Not import marked, most likely the nicest original example we have ever encountered, and worthy of the finest collection. DUTCH Model 1895 Mannilicher bolt-action infantry rifle # 1649B (6.5x53R) mfg. by Hembrug in 1921.  Very Good condition, external metal "in the white" and all matching numbers. Was rebarreled in 1940 and bore is a bit worn.  Missing rear sling-swivel and magazine spring, else complete and functional. Buttstock has duffle-cut under barrel-band. FRENCH Model 1866-74 Chassepot-Gras bolt-action rifle # N55546 (11mm Gras) mfg. by St. Etienne in 1872 and updated from the needle-fire linen cartridge to the Gras metallic cartridge system in 1880.  Excellent condition, with full bluing.  All-matching serial numbers, bore is exceptional and mirror-bright (literally appears as-new). GERMAN Model 98k bolt-action rifle # 1478 (8mm) mfg. by Bystrica (factory code dou.45) in early 1945.  A rearsenaled Russian-capture in excellent-PLUS condition, with 100% bluing, electropenciled parts, shellac has been removed from laminated stock with faint Army cartouches. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright (rifle looks unissued), eagle / swastika on left side of barrel-shank very boldly struck. GREEK Model 1903 Mannlicher-Schoenauer bolt-action infantry rifle # 6412ST (6.5x54 M/S) mfg. by Steyr in 1907. Yes, folks, this is the full-military version of the famed M/S rifle with its rotary magazine. Very Good condition with most bluing remaining and Greek crest on the receiver is still very sharp.  Bolt is mismatched (they always are, for some unknown reason), bore is dark (but very strong and will brighten up after a few rounds are put through it).  It is missing its cleaning-rod and there is a 1/2" hairline crack at back of tang (wood is otherwise quite sound).  PHOTOS  Rare as Hell, not import-marked. . . $695.    C&R    SOLD

ISRAELI Mauser bolt-action single-shot training rifle # 1076 (.22 LR) mfg. by Fabrique National in the mid 1950's.  Excellent condition, with full parkerized finish and all-matching serial numbers.  Bore is mirror-bright, no cleaning-rod (or provision for one). JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action infantry rifle Series 24, # 8753 (7.7x58) mfg. at Kokura in c.1943. Excellent condition with full original bluing on all metal,  intact mum, and all matching numbers on all serial-numbered parts. Chrome-lined bore is very bright with sharp rifling. Cleaning-rod is present, as is rear sight aircraft wings. PERSIAN Model 98/29 rifle # P6745 (8x57) mfg. by Brno in 1929. Excellent condition, with all-matching numbers including matching bayonet. RUSSIAN Model SVT-40 Tokarev semiautomatic rifle # VG3813  (7.62x54R) mfg. by Tula in 1943. Excellent condition, a Navy arsenal rework with 98% or better bluing on all metal parts, bore is mirror-bright and very strong. All matching electropenciled Russian serial numbers on all part but magazine. Receiver not grooved for scope-rails, and muzzle-break is of the four large chamber type. SIAMESE Model 1903 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 18440 (8x52R Siamese), mfg. by Koishikawa Arsenal  in 1903 with straight-bolt.  Excellent-PLUS condition, with 99% or better original bluing on all parts. Includes sliding action-cover but no cleaning rod. Bore is very bright with strong rifling. Walnut stock and handguard looks new with very bold cartouches and only a few handling-marks. SPANISH Model 1921 Destroyer bolt-action carbine # 34046 (9x23 Largo) mfg. by Ayra Duria in 1962. Excellent condition with 90% bluing throughout. Has a sharp mirror-bore, only numbers on bolt are 49. SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle # 399974 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1916 with straight-bolt and unthreaded muzzle.  Excellent condition, with 95% original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.50/0).  All-matching numbers except magazine-floorplate (851), cleaning rod not numbered. SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle # 442832 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1917 with straight-bolt and threaded muzzle.  Excellent condition, with 95% original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.49/1).  All-matching numbers except cleaning rod (718). Walnut stock has the expected dings and handling-marks from actual use. Rear sight is the M/55 type wheel adjustable from 100 to 600 meters (usually only found on 41B snipers).  PHOTOS . . . $460.   C&R     SOLD

SWEDISH Model 38B Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 631909 (6.5x55), mfg. by Husqvarna  in 1942 with bent bolt and threaded muzzle. Very Good condition, with 70% original bluing on all parts (magazine-floorplate and triggerguard shows wear from being carried). Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk stamped 6.53/3).  All-matching numbers (bolt-shroud and striker electropenciled 909 to match). Rear sight is calibrated for 100-600 meters. Stock has some dings but no cracks, sight-plate tacked on right side.  Includes cleaning-rod, sling, and screw-on flashider. SWEDISH Model AG42B Ljungmann semiautomatic rifle # 15409 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1943.  Excellent-PLUS condition, literally PRISTINE with 98% or better original bluing. Matching (electropenciled, as usual) bolt, includes cleaning-rod. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright, wood is beech with original (un-sanded) finish and a few minor scuffs and dings. URUGUAY Model 1871 Mauser bolt-action single-shot infantry rifle # 67988 (6.5x53.5SR Deaudetau) mfg. by Mauser in 1879 as a 11mm single shot long rifle and converted at St. Denis to the Deaudetau caliber (also known as the DOVITIIS conversion). Excellent condition, with some metal "in the white". All-matching serial-numbers. Bore is absolutely gorgeous, mirror-bright all the way to muzzle with strong rifling. An original example in Excellent condition with 95% or better high-gloss blued finish.  Bore is excellent and very bright (ME = 1.5). All-matching numbers, with milled triggerguard and magazine-floorplate, knob of bolt has flattened bottom. Stock is teak and looks unissued.
